Hi All,
I need help, my device is Xaiomi Mi4w and I have two problems :
1- Can't add the exchange email I have because in privacy can't set device to encrypted mode (this option is not available at all)
2- Always I find new apps on my phone although I didn't install and even if I delete it will back, it drive me crazy
Is there any suggestions ?

I have the same issue with app called "CM Transfer". Every reboot, it installs itself.

Factory Reset does not solve the issues
Hello , I bought a android rear view mirror from eBay. It can not detect location could not update app . Could not download always says error 491 . There are 3 setting menu 1 . Under System setting -volume, brightness,date,internal,sd card and version 2016051 , 2. Under car setting - rearview mirror , video quality ,record time ,g-sencer and under 3rd. Common setting -Fm, WiFi,navigation screensaver, that's it . And application are - file manager (but almost empty ), car update, music gallery recorder,hangout ,Google app , news and either,gmail , play service and store . Nothing other . (PAIUI 20160510 version).
I installed Google app, play store , service ,Gmail ,Firefox latest version ApK file via PC . Google map . But also still says 491 error . Many time I did factory reset also . I find out following detail with the help of hardware info ApK .

Hello,
Clear data and cache. Do the same thing for the Google Play Store. Restart your phone. Open Google Play Store, login and let it sync, and you should be able to download whatever app was giving you.

Thanks for guide but there is no any more option under setting menu . No app drawer menu nothing . Almost menu already hide . How Can i clear the cache ?

Hello, there are no more option like smart phone . There are only those option which i have mentation above on post . Alomost 90 ℅ setting /menu are not availaible . So i could not know how to make visible all the setting .

No, the device does not have setting >apps . Nither any other setting like Smartphone . 1. TWRP
1. Start your OS and go to -> Settings -> About/ Phone Info -> Tap 10x the BuildNr to enable the Developer Option -> go back once -> Developer option -> enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock
2. Download TWRP from here:

Hi folks,
My first visit here, hope someone can help. I received my Nubia 11 last week and have been setting it up. I noticed I only receive my whatsapp messages when I am actually using the phone and the app is running in the background, leave the phone for a few minutes and if someone has whatsapped me in that time I will not receive the notification unless I take the phone out of 'sleep' and check whatsapp at which point any messages will come in. I thought it was just whatsapp but then realized its any messaging emails (gmail and outlook) app. I have scoured the settings, permissions, etc but cant seem to find anything that will stop my apps going to sleep/stopping when the phone goes to sleep. Receiving any emails/messages does not wake the phone up to notify me. please help thanks

if you have the EU version of ROM you have to open task manager(long press on back softkey and swipe down on whatsapp and other app that you want to "lock" in memory. your notification will work even in sleep.

the task manager is the recent activity screeen.it looks like this:
Ahhh... For me it was the middle button I long press. I think I've done it. I swiped down on the app and a padlock appeared I guess that means it's locked. Does that mean it's locked for good? How is it disabled? Thanks again.

thanks for the tip, it help a lot! I had the same issue, as dazcrawford ,now I am receiving all notification but the gmail. Are you guys experiencing the same thing? I am using the gmail app, I've tried the default z11 mail app too, but it's the same, I need to go within the app and refresh in order to get the messages. Thanks

hi, now i'm been testing the ressurrection remix rom, btw when i used EU rom i've not noticed issue with gmail notification (with padlock).
try to remove padlock from gmail app and test notification.

it didn't help! When you saying `test notification` do you mean there is a feature?

Good day gentlemen, can anyone confirm if nx549j supports otg fully? I just got the phone last month and 2 days ago I got that type c to usb, but when I connect my Xbox one controller the phone freezes for ±5sec then restarts. using my flash drives, ext. HDDs... is no use either, the phone says I must format them first. However in twrp I am able to access the single partitioned drives. Can anyone shed some light on this?

i have the same problem, when i close wassap or i have the phone blocked no notifications will come thru.
i tried to lock the apps but it does not seem to be working for me

so after wandering around posts and going through articles like ( i am not allowed to put the link, but you can google it`Turn notifications on or off` there is a quick guide ) , nothing changed! However, the last thing i've tried it worked, and that was to change the app, so i've uninstalled the gmail app and installed another app which support google emails `myMail`, it has similar interface, so i am not missing anything from gmail and it's working perfectly.

today i update my s7 to G930FXXU1DQIL and all seems good but messages app.
default messages app work good (send/receive sms) but when i open 1 message and want to add that on spam message with 3 little line on top right symbol app crash.
i don on/off phone also wipe cach data but still happen. cant master reset or factory reset duo my data an also this is no serious problem at all but any solution anybody have?

You don't need root to update system apps, just toggle secure startup, reboot and install them
ok it seems real bug....i do master factory reset without restoring any data and problem still exist. so this is the real bug of this version.

The issue is present only on BTU/XEU CSC (G930FXXU1DQJ3) ( Did not try others)
Tried PHN (G930FXXU1DQJ1) and ROM (G930FXXU1DQJ3). They are fine.
There is different Samsung Messages version 4.1.31 ( BTU/ROM ) vs Samsung Messages version 4.1.28 ( PHN ). So it should be related to something within CSC not within app version.
I fixed it by installing Samsung Messages 4.2.03.12 Latest version targeting Android 7.0. Newer versions will most likely create more problems.
You can also use Android Messages

Is not crashing for me, so i did not test this version. The one on the phone is 3.1.07.73

I'm having trouble installing APK's from APKMIRROR. In various applications of Samsung e.g. Gallery, Browser, TochWiz, Bixby, Calendar, Clock .... I always get the error message "Application not installed. Package is in conflict with another package with the same name".
I do not have root.
What is noticeable is that after an update from Android (also the monthly security patches) or at a factory reset I am able to install all system apps without problems (also the ones mentioned above) or to run an update. But if I restart the phone, it will not be possible to update system apps anymore. It is always the o.g. Error message displayed.
Can someone tell me why this is so or what I can do, so that the update always works?
Resetting the app (uninstall the updates / empty cache, etc.) brings nothing here.

Toggle secure startup to on and then reboot your phone. Install the application.
Settings - Lock screen and security - secure startup. Check require password...
If it is already checked, uncheck it and reboot.
Sometimes you also need an wipe cache from recovery. After you install your app you can toggle secure startup to original state and reboot ?

Thanks for suggestion and link for samsung messages, it worked! The messages problem happened to me as well, on S7 edge dual sim G935FD, and italian update G935XXU1DRA2. Trying to understand what was happening I realised that the application did not crash with sms coming from a program (like those for adverts) but it crashed only for sms coming from a phone number either in the contacts or not.

Suddenly My Device is creating a issue regarding Sound then i go to iqoo service center they wipe my phone data and reinstall the firmware , after the problem solved a new problem was created regarding NFC . i use a App called All tap & Gpay for payment via NFC in my Iqoo 7 but after reinstall firmware they didn't worked, my NFC is working but they didn't work with my apps ,i attached a file containing the error showing.

This could be happening due to some app integration bug that's there in Android 12.
Or some app bug as well. It is unlikely that if the same version of OS had the functionality working, it's not working post a wipe.
Either app bug or an OS upgrade could be the issue IMO.
