This thread suggests:
-Switch off your handset and wait till the vibration is over.
-Now switch the phone in recovery mode. Press and hold Power button + middle menu button together to start in recovery mode.
The only other way I know of is if Rom Manager supports your device.
I'm still having this RAMDUMP mode when I enter in recovery mode (POWER + MIDDLE KEY + VOL UP) ... I can only enter recovery via ROM MANAGER or RebootRecovery via MS-DOS .bat file
I can live without (POWER + MIDDLE KEY + VOL UP) recovery mode but I still want to fix it.
Anyone can give me a hand?
Thanks.

And here am here showing how to fix the problem of recovery mode of not showing any recovery options when entering recovery mode.
You may enter recover mode with CWM or from system recovery mode by holding down vol up + vol down + lock key or in Samsung by vol up and home key or whatever yours is.
Then many people complains about not showing any options instead of Android logo lying down with a red attention sign.
It is not a problem or error basically it is locked basically what you will do to solve is :
1) Press vol up and vol down key at the same time. And hold for few seconds (this may work on most devices)
2) Simultaneously press both the vol up and down keys (try this if first didn't worked)
3) If both didn't worked try combining the both step given above and this will show you the options.
Instruction - To scroll press up and down press vol up and vol down keys respectively.
Note - Touch keys don't work in recovery mode.

Hi guys,
title speaks for itself
I have tried every single method that came up from google:
Recovery Mode Lenovo A5000
Turn off the device
Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a few seconds
Release all key when Android Recovery Mode appears
Use Volume keys to select
Use Power key to confirm
Click to collapse
The combination should be-->
-->Simultaneously press&hold Power button & Volume+ and Volume- (Yes,both volume buttons).
If by using this combination the phone just shutdowns or restarts.....Simultaneously press&hold Power button & Volume+ and Volume- >Release all buttons when the Lenovo logo (the first static logo) disappears.
Click to collapse
...or use a sequence--> Simultaneously press&hold Power button & Volume+ and Volume- -->Release only the Power button when the Lenovo logo appears-->Keep on pressing both Volume(+&-) buttons until you enter the recovery mode.
Click to collapse
don't remove your fingers until it boots up.. much better if you press first the volume keys before you power on.. keep pressing all together until it opens. or you might end up booting the chinese recovery.

With Vol Up+Power button managed to get this:
Select boot mode:
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK>]
[Recovery Mode] <<==
[Fastboot Mode]
[Normal boot]
Click to collapse
i can change selection with Vol Up (move arrow), but neither Vol Down or Power button acts like OK button
Tried to reboot to recovery from app it returns "no command" error.
After that i found what is key combination (i think) hold down volume up and down and power button. after 5+ seconds release power button, but keep pressing volume buttons. But no command error again.
I really need recovery console, cuz i want to install xposed but if i get stuck in bootloop will...well, will get stuck
Well, also tried to plug-in USB cable while holding Volume UP ad Volume DOWN buttons, to see will it shows in adb. Result is "no command" again. But i can see device attached when using build-in cd-rom + usb debug enabled
For me , Button Combination never Works Exactly , but when i Reboot into Recovery (using Rashr app etc) , then same No Command Window Appears and then i Press Power Button Again and Recovery Window Appears... No Command Error Shows , Simply Press Power Button again Like for 0.5 Seconds , Recovery Screen Shows Up, Works for me.. ...
And also me Using Same 4.4.2 , i installed Xposed (Not From Recovery) and Never Got a Bootloop...
For Now i am using TWRP , Working Well , But Still Button Combination is Really Annoying For me...
Yeah I have very large fingers and those damn buttons are very small lol so its aggravating, but a real life saver when everything is frozen rock solid ..try that button combo on an LG g4 , its taken me an hour of reboots to finally get to recovery, why put such tiny hardware buttons on the back of the phone ffs
Through my ancient eyes comes the certainty of decay... LG G4 & L 70
Thanks guys, but i've managed to flash TWRP recovery and don't have No command error, anymore
Need help
I tried twrp recovery by sp tool but i am unable to go to recovery mode. I m using vol+ with power it takes me to menu but i m unable to select by vol down there

Power Off Your Mobile , Now Press Vol+ , Vol- and Power Button all At the Same Time Until your Phone starts again and you See Lenovo Logo (Below Written Powered By Android) , then after 5 Seconds Release All .... Now wait , and you'r in Recovery Now .... Works For me...
Or you can Try "adb reboot recovery" , this one works for me too...
If None of these Working , then Re-flash Recovery and Check again (Try flashing Recovery Using different Method Like using Rashr App)...

Hey guys do you hapen to have a solution to my problem:
My A5000 won't shut down properly, it doesn't vibrate at the end of power off process and from that moment on it gives no any further life signs... I somehow managed to turn it back on but it totally drained my battery over night... (btw i turned it back on by simply holding power button for approx. 20 seconds)
hi
why i cant prese the volume key when in choose recovery mode?
Well, Stock Recovery never opened until I flashed a custom recovery (TWRP). ?
Thanks
Hi,
i bought an used S7 and found. that the volume buttons don´t work, when in Android 6.0.1 or recovery-menu.. but when starting up with "volume down" + "home" + "power" it is working, otherwise I wouldn´t come into recovery.. right?
so I think the problem is software-based.. but how I can factory-reset or something, when I can´t navigate in recovery-menu to go through the wipe-options..
Can I have a chance connecting a keyboard via OTG to navigate in recovery?

If you flash the stock ROM from Download Mode (Volume Down & Home & Power) and add the CSC section of the ROM rather than HOME_CSC, it will factory reset the phone for you after the flash
Flash AP, BL, CP and CSC
Use ODIN 3.12.3 or newer
Get the ROM from updato.com
but I can´t come into Download Mode, only Recovery.. when pressing Vol up + Home + Power or Volume down + Home + Power, both times I only access recovery

Sounds like your volume buttons are both hitting the UP switch inside the phone
Need to find a way to fix that physical problem
but when so, why in android both switches do nothing and on start both do vol up? :-/

Maybe Android OS cannot function with damaged buttons but phone hardware can
No idea, but if the problem exists outside of Android OS it is not a firmware / software problem
Did you get the phone wet or dropped?
but outside Android OS atleast vol up work.. maybe I have to open the backcover of the phone to make sure, what is the case with volume buttons?
Update?
Raider2k9,
Did you ever figure this out? Mine is doing something similar, but with only the phone only booting into safemode because the volume down key is pressed and nothing happening when the phone is on.
