I have an LG G2and I have pretty much rooted this thing every other day due to some issue. I Thought I finally had it after the last OTA a week ago which for me was 4.4.2 and everything was fine until today. Phone states I IS rooted however my SuperSU states: that there is no SU binary installed and supersu cannot install it. It says to manually re-root if I have upgraded to 4.3 but it has been fine till now.. plz help

Hi,
The best place to seek help for your issue is the device specific q&a forum found here

Best of luck!
Hi, I've got an unlocked originally AT&T LG G2, D800 model, Black 32 gb version, now being used with T-Mobile.
I've got a bit of an issue. I can't update it to the latest version of Android available to it. Now, I was able to finally update it to 4.4.2 from 4.2.2, through a looong and convoluted process (terribly sorry, I can't remember the tutorial page) involving com ports, and "Download mode" on the device.
Anywho, while it is 4.4.2, I don't believe it is the latest version for this device, as I've read that it is supposed to have the "Knock Code" feature, but it does not.
Of course, the first thing I did was go to the LG site, and download their "PC Suite" software. I had it check for updates for my device, but it said it was on the latest version.
Not sure what's going wrong here, and could really use some help with this.
(I'm posting in this area because I did search around a lot about this, but I'm not really sure what I'm even looking for)

Hi everyone,
I am using LG Optimus G Pro F240L. It is on Jelly Bean 4.1.2. I want to upgrade to higher Android version. I have downloaded "KitKat F240L20d" KDZ file. I don't know how to install/flash my LG. However, I have read some articles and forum posts regarding flash. Bla bla bal...
The whatever I have tried didn't work for me. Is there anyone who can guide me to proper procedure for this.
Thanks

Whats up everyone i have a quick question i recently rooted my lg g2 but now i see they are about to release 5.0 lollipop for lg g2. Can i still update the ota i get when it is released or will it brick my g2. If it will brick it or disable it how do i take it back to original where it will update itself and dont have any root detectable files basically like i just took it out of the box?:silly:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Usually it isn't advised to take an OTA update on a rooted device, so it's probably best to remove root first.
No response in two days, thread closed.
Hi guys I have a Moto X XT1052 Asian Version.
I recently unlocked the bootloader and rooted my phone.
I want to know how I can return it to stock so I can receive the OTA update.
I found the link http://www.filefactory.com/file/3qr..._4.4.4_KXA21.12-L1.26_18_cid7_CFC_1FF.xml.zip of the stock image of my phone.
I was wondering if anyone could give me CLEAR and DETAILED instructions on how I can flash this stock image.
I new to this. So please ensure that the steps are detailed.
I have searched for this a lot, and even posted a thread but no one replied. So I came to XDA Assist.
One more thing is this image the correct on?
I really need to know how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
