This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. So i was modding android.policy.jar
and knew tht i wud most probably screw up.
So i made an flashable zip for the original but forgot to unmount system in the updater-script
and then it kept rebooting into recovery however i turned on my phone
I even manually unmounted system but didnt work
So what cud be the problem?
(I wud have taken a logcat but it doesnt work on booting. just when the phone is on)
It depends on the nature of changes you had made.
Since you have been around XDA, it might help if you posted here instead. Kindly note that the mission of XDA Assist is to help new users who are not familiar with XDA.

Moreover , that which you ask is forbidden on XDA forum , so this thread will be closed with no response .
Thank you for undesrstanding

Help! I tried to update my M8 to Lollipop, much dismay has ensued. Please refer to this thread for the entire story.
All I need to know is if I can reboot into recovery using fastboot. The machine still sees the phone in fastboot mode. Can I boot into TWRP and flash my backup?

So all we would have done here is move your thread to the correct device forum so you could be helped by those folks with the most experience with your device. Seeing as you already have a thread in the correct place, and it logs as though you're being helped there, we'll leave that one active and close this one.
Good luck with your phone!
