Hi I have a Zenfone 5 run on KitKat which is stuck at boot logo.
The situation is, I tried to flash new recovery and rom in my attempts to put it alive, but all I got when flashing rom is bunch of "failed to mount" log in the recovery with invalid argument. I tried few times with no avail and I made further read on xda forums and found out that I have to unlock the bootloader for this operation. Since the bootloader unlocking tool is an .apk file, it is impossible to be used for bootlooped zenfone (correct me if I'm wrong).
Any suggestion guys? Your help is very much appreciated and thanks click is waiting. Thank you very much!
I forgot to mention that my serial number displayed at droidboot/fastboot is 0123456789ABCDEF

i tried to unlock my friend's xt1033's bootloader with adm and code from motorola. adb replied with unlock failed but after restarting bootloader states "device unlocked" and bootlogo also shows unlocked warning. i tried to flash TWRP but it gets stuck on black screen (tried 7 times with different versions). i tried unlocking again but adb shows "unlocked"
so pls any kind soul can help me???

Recently bought Huawei Mate 7 and then rooted but never unlocked bootloader. I loaded a custom recovery CWM through apk Rashr and loaded custom firmware through apk. I then wanted to return to stock firmware but every time I try to flash through ADB I get error FAILED (remote: Command not allowed) and it does not flash. Tried to unlock via Huawei site but keep getting error and my card is not accepted for online transaction. Please help getting my bootloader unlock code this is my last option because nothing has worked. Huawei MT07-L09 details as follows

I have tried to unlock bootlaoder of yu5510a to install twrp and flash with cyanogen but unfortunately it's not happening. And i previously tried to do this with ygdp tool and resulted in softbrick of device later i got new replacement . And now i have used latest adb drivers, now fastboot is detecting my device but when i am using fastboot oem unlock command its throwing unknown command error. Kindly some one here try to give me a tutorial i have googled a lot from past 1mnth. Now i am fed up. My device came with stock lollipop now i hate this stupid OS.

a week ago my friend came to me to help his Nexus 5 is stuck keep restart on google screen but it fix it it just cause power button issue..
but after that another issue came out stuck on bootloop loading around endless, already try wipe data but came with "failed to mount / cache (invalid argument)" and "cant mount"
condition locked bootloader i have try unlock bootloader but when i rebooting it just back to bootlop
try to flash factory image but unlock bootloader is needed
already try toolkit and abd / fastboot it still same result
what i want to ask is : how can i unlock bootloader if my condition is bootloop

If there bootloader relocks when you restart the phone, the memory chip is probably damaged.
I recently bought a Note 7 Pro wich is stuck in bootloop after flashing a rom. The guy couldn't give me that much details ...
What I encountered so far:
- might be chinese device (how can this be verified ?)
- bootloop to recovery with message: ... can't install this version "
- bootloader is locked at the moment / not sure if it was unlocked before
- Fastboot is accessible
- tried some updates via xiaomiadb - but without success.
--> China stable & developer recovery rom lead to errors: network carrier type different
--> Global V11 rom is accepted by tool but, leads again to bootloop with error message ...
Therefore I am not sure how to continue. Any hints ?

Answer - the reason is that ur phone bootloader needs to be unlocked in order to flash any rom Or OEM image or else fastboot recovery image
Normally when phone stuck in bootloop we do flash via mi flash toot app using fastboot recovery image only.
Otherwise u will get error for sure ?
Now ur phone has a bootlock so u have to go to service centre and they will do recovery by opening back panel of phone and they will charge you around 350 plus tax if it is out of warranty

Had you applied for Bootloader unlocking? If you had using MI Unlock tool, then wait for the time being until the time period is over and unlock the bootloader. It may work. Also, if you have stock recovery you may confirm with others and install stable OTA updates for the ROM to see if it fixes the device.
No. I did not try to unlock the bootloader. I received the phone in that bootloop and only did one attempt to recover through xiaomiadb with mentioned error.
Is there no other way to escape except going to a shop ?
