Micromax A54 [ROOT]

well, in the following thread I'm going to explain how to root micromax a54
[I'd like to make one thing clear - this method worked out on my phone. if anything is to happen to your phone I am not the one to be blamed. do it under your own will. you screw up. you brick your phone. simple]
THINGS YOU'LL NEED-
phone must be charged upto 50%
unlockroot software
micromax a54 drivers (you can find these on the official micromax website)
PROCEDURE-
copy the downloaded drivers into your sdcard
enable USB Debiggung and connect your phone to the PC
invoke unlockroot
click the HUGE green button ROOT and select your model in the popup
you might get some prompts - IGNORE
the rooting procedure will begin
once done your phone will reboot
you can find the SU app in the menu
for further confirmation you can download an app such as root checker
CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR PHONE IS NOW ROOTED! :highfive: :good:

The method worked fine but there is no need for transferring a54 drivers to sdcard
Just install the adb correctly and then use unlockroot
it doesnt work in 1st or 2nd time but on 3rd time it may work

actually my friend, there were no methods to root this phone when it had released
and this method i had used previously to root my karbonn a21
so i just took the risk and tried out the same method with my micromax a54 and it worked well for me

U Made It so easy for me... Thanks a lot..

I downloaded mobile unkle n i installed the same and i placed the .img file in sd card.i went to mobile uncle and clicked recovery updates,then the file was shown ,i clicked d file,asked if i want to flash,i oked that again it asked to reboot ma devise i did! Then with some foreigb animations happened and my phone switch off automatically! Plz help me!

The recovery file which you have listed doesnt work on mmx lite...plz check

Which rom did you use for porting? I saw in MIUI forums that we cant port for kitkat devices.

NATIVE OTG Fix For Micromax Unite 2 Kitkat (NO NEED OTG HELPER)

Note: As this mod replaces a system file, there is no point of doing this without root (like root->custom recovery->flash->unroot->stock recovery). Technically your warranty is still void unless service center executives do not notice this (chances are rare that they shall notice). Also it is suggested to root the phone first and flash a custom recovery to make a backup before flashing anything, as it (not this mod) may bootloop your device.
Things needed:
1. Unite 2 on kitkat.
2. Root (only for flashing custom recovery) with
3. Custom recovery.
4. The fix (v-2).
5. ES File Explorer:play store, APK
Procedure:
1. Download the fix.
2. Place it in sdcard.
3. Reboot to recovery.
4. Flash the zip.
5. Reboot.
6. Uninstall OTG Helper.
7. Install ES File Explorer.
Done.

2. Download and install the Flashify app.
3. Select accept and Grant root permission.

Method 2 :
