I have a Samsung Note Edge. I was having problems with my phone constantly searching for GPS after the lolipop update. I read online where someone suggested to use *#9090# menu. So dumb me did. I selected option 1 and it caused me to lose service and send my phone into a boot loop. At first I would be able to access the phone for about 20 seconds before the reboot. So I performed the master reset. Now it is still in a constant boot loop as it is trying to analyze the apps. I cannot do anything to the phone. I have att. Please help! I don't know what to do.

Ok, so I had this problem lately, I accidentally deleted some apps including Telephony Service and Setup Manager of my rooted ASUS Zenfone 5.
I resorted to factory resetting my phone.
After a while, things are getting better BUT some minutes later Setup Manager stopped, making me unable to setup my phone, even my home screen.
My stupidity told me to restart my phone (and I did.)
But it won't start up.
I really need your help.
NOTE: My phone is rooted, I have backup-ed my data to my PC, bootloader is locked.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You need to flash the stock firmware. See if this helps, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-zenfone-5-zenfone-6-to-t2839984. If you have further questions you can ask in that thread.

Hi, I put my phone on the airplane mode and when I tried to open it a few hours later, it just start opening and opening again. I see the google sign than the coloured X and it starts to the google again and it never stops. I did a reset of the phone but it didn't change anything. I tried to look into forums to find a way to fix it but I am very bad in informatics and I could not go trough wit the process. Can someone help me please ? Thank you
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Could you let us know what specific device you have. That'll allow us to point you in the right direction. But I'd try returning the device to stock using the stock firmware. How you do that will depend on what device you have.
So first off, I like Cyanogenmod very much. But also the data on my phone.
Now the problem is, I didn't do the update properly and now it's stuck in a error loop.
I have an idea how to fix it, but first I want to get all my data off my phone. But I can't get in.
If my phone is on in the error loop I cant enter my phone because it's locked, just like if you haven't enterd my pin or something like that.
Does anyone know a good solution for me?

Hello guys,
A few months ago, I rooted my phone using kingroot. After a few weeks, i tried to install TWRP custom recover to unlock bootloader. I accidently downloaded a wrong version of it and flashed it using flashify app, after which i booted into recovery to check the new recover mode. But, something awkward happened. THE BOOT MODE DIDN'T OPEN AND THE SCREEN GOT STUCK AT "Booting into recovery". I read on the internet and realised that my device has got soft-bricked. Also, phone wasn't rebooting. So, i found a solution atleast start my phone. I took out my battery, pressed the buttons for download mode and then placed the battery back in and pressed the buttons for download mode and somewhow rebooted my phone (i read about this technique in xda forums). Now, although my phone works but i cannot access the recovery mode as it has got soft-bricked. Thus, i cannot perform a hard reset as it gets caught in that "recovery booting stuck cycle". So, can anyone tell me how to fix this? PLS QUICKLY. aLSO, i don't know much about ADB, so pls explain that too as my friend suggested me to use ADB to fix softbrick but im not sure!!
