Hey, from time to time I am noticing some weird glitches on games. Like for example when I press home button while playing a game, the sound level increases to max for a fraction of the second before exiting the app.
I can't always reproduce this bug, so I had no way of proving it.
But now I started to play Hill Climb Racing game and when I fully upgraded the engine of the first vehicle, it started to produce loud white noise even though I set the media volume to minimum.
Here's the video:

Can anyone else reproduce this bug? Is this a game/phone soft bug or something more serious?
I got the game and played for 30 minutes with the volume off. During that time, there was a really loud noise out of the speaker for about 1 second while I was racing. I didn't manage to get the engine upgraded fully, but yes it's clear that this game has a sound bug.
Phew! I was starting to panic!
Although for me there are no random noises when I turn the sound completely off!

When I have the sound on mute the speakers pop sometimes when a sound i guess is suppose to be playing in a game.
everything seems to work well when i have the sound on and play music or watch a movie or have in game sounds on, but when it is muted it pops every so often.
They also pop when rebooting the TF or turning it on from an off state, but I assume thats proper because its turning the system on so its doing some checks and balances to check if everything is working order.
Try playing a song on the Gmusic app with a headset plugged in, and rapidly pausing/unpausing the track. After a short while this causes a large burst of amplified sound to blare at you, then shoot back down to where you had it set initially. Occasionally this will happen if you mistakenly pause and unpause once, or purposefully do so after 3-4 times. Any input on this? Pretty painful and weird, as no other device has done this to me before now.
So I've had this phone for about 2 weeks and absolutely love it. My only issue is a bizarre one. Google Play Music acts strange. When I skip tracks, about 80% of the time it takes 4-5 seconds for the current track to stop and the next to begin. Or when I unplug my headphones, the audio will run on my speakers for about the same amount of time before stopping. That one has actually led to a bit of embarrassment on more than one occasion ( my musical tastes are... unique )
Anyone else experience this?
Old thread I know but I have had the same issue every since always. Is there a way to fix this ? Super annoying especially when your music suddenly start blasting in quiet work place.
Hi guys. I notice that when I have Tap sounds enabled (play sounds when making screen selection), the very first time it plays the tap sound is loud. After that it quiets down. If I wait two seconds, then the volume goes back to being loud for the initial tap sound only. Is this by design or is it a bug? I have no sound issues otherwise on my phone. Very unusual.
Yes it happens on mine too. It's not massively louder, just a tiny bit, but it's still a difference. There is no problem with the device.
Beamed in by telepathy.
Hi everyone,
When playing a game (I've tested Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Clash of Clans) or an alarm with a quite low volume, the sound gets randomly muffled as if there were some unwanted AGC (automatic gain control). This happens on all ROMs I have ever tested! Does anybody else experience this? Any solution?
This does not happen with headphones or bluetooth speakers, nor does it happen when playing music or videos.
Answering my own question: renaming "/vendor/etc/acdbdata" to anything else seems to solve the issue (but lowers in-call volume).
