I have a gold 3gb 32gb MT7-TL10 china model. Stuck on beta Android 6. Huawei's EMUI still has notification bug. I would like to install anything other than Huawei crap. I tried manually downgrading following broken links/info found on the net but no luck.
Can someone help me out and give me a TWRP backup of stock MIUI?
I downloaded android Marshmallow B511 and was already on android 5.1,I extracted the update file and applied it on my Huawei ascend mate 7 MTL09. The operation reached 99% and the update failed,the phone was stacked on Huawei logo.I then took the phone to the repairs. Now the phone is working with android 6.0 but my fingerprint is no more recognised,not even seen under settings. I've tried whatever I could but still not working. ...somebody please help me out. Thanks

I recently got a brand new Huawei P30 Lite (MAR-LX3A) and it's currently running EMUI 9.0.1. The latest android security patch is April 1st, 2019.
I've tried everything I could to update it
1. System Settings: Doesn't work
2. HiSuite: Doesn't work
3. Support app: Doesn't work
I haven't put a SIM card into it, but I don't think that's the problem.
Could it be because the support for Android 9 ended during January 2022?
Is there any another way I can update my phone without flashing a custom ROM?

Is it possible to go into recovery and directly update phone with hisuite from android 8.x to 11 ? Don't mind if everything gets deleted and root is lost. Possible or not ?
you can't update if no update exist. the linked method describes re-branding to other region. ask in that thread for questions, I don't own Huawei mobiles.
Small note before u unlock Bootloader and rebrand: get HiSuite 13 from the .cn website and do a full backup with it. Otherwise u will have hard times to restore ur device.
