I want to upgrade my O2 Xda II mini ROM with Android OS.
Which Android OS is preferable and where would I get it ? with installation instruction.

hey guys!
I want to install cyanogen mod 7 on my HTC Desire Z. However, i heard cyanogen mod 7 was based on android 2.3. I'm on 2.2. I'm rooted, but I was wondering if I can just install cyanogen mod 7 on 2.2 or do I have to update and if I have to update, will I have to unroot my device or can I just do it just the way my phone is now?

Yes, you can install Cyanogen mod 7.0 on your rooted phone. It doesn't really matter which version of android there is right now, so you don't have to update.

Is there a port of HTC Dialer for Cyanogenmod 7? Or can someone guide me how this can be done please? Am game to experiment
