Hi Guys.
I have couple of questions. aBOUT TO an LG g3. do i have to root on kitkat or on lollipop? is there a difference.? Can I use CWM or only twrp is working as recovery? I understand that if install twrp then I can not upgrade to lollipop over the air.
What else should I know before i start playing with it? I used to use slimrom on my previous phone. Is there any rom similar to that?

I have stock kitkat rooted with custom recovery installed with autorec...
I want to install CyanogenMod or another custom rom but i'm not sure if i can do that on kitkat or
if i'd have to go back to JB.
I've searched all over and can't find the answer to this simple question lol any help would be greatly appreciated...

Once you have a custom recovery installed, you are good to go. Before Autorec came out, the only way to install a custom recovery was to downgrade to Jellybean, that isn't the case now. So just pick your ROM and happy flashing.

This is my first post so my humble apologies for the lack of forum prowess. I have an unlocked ATT LG D950G to T-Mobile running a LG Flashed Stock 4.2.2 D950G10a version. It's rooted with Towelroot1. I have looked everywhere on pretty much all of the threads for either the .dll/.tot files for an LG Flash procedure or another procedure to force the update to 4.4.2. Has anyone successfully upgraded this phone from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 and if they have do they have the process in which they did it? Thank you for any help you can give.

I had previously done that on KitKat but I had decided to go back to stock because of CM12 bugs. However, I am looking to do it again, and I want to know how to properly do it. Thanks. I'm going to buy a G2 on Saturday (D801) and I'd like to know how to downgrade it to KitKat. Lollipop seems problematic in terms of trying to root, install TWRP, and flashing CM12.1. On KitKat I could just use Towelroot and AutoRec (simplicity, we need it!). So please, if you can teach me how to do this, that'd be amazing. Thank you.

I am wondering if there is any confirmed source, the way, to update my Lg g pro 2 to the 6.0 marshmallow ? I found many sites with "working, no bugs" versions but Im little bit worry about to use it in my phone. My device is not rooted, it is not branded, just clean lg soft version 32gb.
Can anybody show me proper checked source to update my phone ? Is it possible without flashing ? If I have to flash it then no problem I just need a tip, step by step what to do, where do I have to click, what kind of tools do I have to use etc.
