[Q] Root and unroot saftey - AT&T LG G3

I just purchased a G3 D850, I want to root this phone and take the un godly amount of bloatware off, My phone is Updated to Lollipop,
My question is can I root this phone and not have to worry about tripping something in-case I need to send it back in to be fixed. This is my first LG Droid, I have always been a galaxy s user until now and I know those have knox and triangle away and such that I can use and Samsung would never be the wiser.
I have searched threads about this but I cant find the answer that directly links to the Att D850 with Lollipop on it.

Hi! It seems you're in a sticky situation with the GS3, 4.4.2, root and Knox.
I found an excellent thread that has some good info about everything you've asked about. You could ask further questions there as well. But read it all very carefully!!

[Completed] [Q] Tmobile Galaxy S5 root without triggering knox, warranty, lollipop questions

Going to cut it as short as I can, and I'll probably sound like a noob and annoying at the same time. Can I root my Galaxy S5 T-Mobile 4.4.2 G900TUVU1CNK2 without triggering knox? I don't want to touch anything (no rom or loader or anything) - I just want it to be rooted so I have some access.
If that can't be done, can I root and yet still send back to T-Mobile as a warranty replacement without them charging me?
If I were to root, can I still use the OTA upgrade from Lollipop once it comes out or does it have to be done a different way?

WE NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE A ROOT FOR LG stylo v5.1 LP CRICKET

Lg stylo H634
I have the Lg stylo h634 through Cricket. After reading another thread I used Kingroot to root my phone. However I decided I wanted to removed the root so I can upgrade to Marshmallow. So I purchased Supersu to get rid of kIngroot. My phone is now stuck in bootloop. At this point I don't care what ROM I have, I just need my phone back. Any suggestions, help or even a "I'm screwed buy a new phone" statement would a least let me move on. I have been at this for about a week now.
Thank you

Bring it to where you got it and play dumb. Don't mention root or anything of the sort. As far as they're concerned you don't know jack about phones. Just tell them it froze and you had to pull the battery to reset it but now it wont turn on.
My Cricket Wireless LG G Stylo is also briked
I rooted my Cricket Wireless LG G Stylo (H634) with Kingroot then I used Super sume to covert to SuperSU instead of Kingroots after I used the Super sume app and updated binaries the phone restarted and and is stuck on the LG logo. Boost and Metro has flash files all over the web TOT and KDZ files we need flash files for the Cricket Wireless LG G Stylo if anyone can post them online thank you in advance.
Me 2 but i still had warrant after i rooted
I bricked my phone with supersu me but i still had warranty after i rooted with king root so i called it in and they gave me a new phone
I rooted my new lg stylo with king root and sticked with kingroot cause i dont want to
Brick my phone again ever since my phone worked perfectly fine if you ever get a new phone just stick with kingroot
Avoid apps that cause phone to Brick
Xposed installer
Super SU me
Dont use these apps unless theres a kdz available for your phone
I am rooted with New version 4.8 KingRoot. Have root checker Pro by joeykrim. No issues. First attempt with super su bricked. But phone was three days old. Duh my phone locked. New phone is rooted for good. Need custom recovery though.

I need a rooted rom for Galaxy SM-G920V anything later than OG7

So basically I never wanted to update my phone but I accidentally pressed Install Now when I was trying to open the messaging app. Now I can't root it anymore or downgrade it. Worst mistake ever for my phone :crying:
So my phone found a new update, but I don't want to update it because I want to look for a updated ROOTED rom that is later than OG7. If anyone has a odin flashable / zip flashable, PLEASE message me. I have a friend that works with android roms, he said that its something to do with the bootloader and it has to be rewritten by hand to make it rootable because of verizons bootloader, and to unlock the bootloader. PingPongRoot doesn't work anymore after the 5.1.1 update. I really hate this update. it slowed my phone down a lot. **** you verizon :crying::crying::crying:
Anyways I need a rooted rom to flash on my phone to make my phone think its signed by Samsung or Verizon and it's a new update. Please help me root my phone. I really got nothing to root it now ;-;

Sorry, it doesn't exist for the Verizon Galaxy S6. The last rooted ROM was OE2.

Have you tried updating to Marshmallow? I'm on CleanROM 1.5 android 5.0.2 OE2, and have been curious of the new android version, but at the same time do not want to lose root. Let me know if Marshmallow is worth losing root. Only advantage I see to root at this point is not having all that damn bloatware I really hate and cannot remove without root. Thanks.

I rather not update it unless
1: A root method is available
2: A rooted rom for Marshmallow is available
Just saying. upgrading to 5.1.1 unintentially (mainly because i was directly going to the messaging app but accidentally pressed install now) made me loose my root access. That's why I'm seeing if there is a rooted rom for that rom or a root method for that room.

From what I understand, it seems verizon is never going to allow it. Just look at Note 4 from verizon, it came out in 2014 and still no sign there will ever be root available for that one either. I'm even considering moving to tmo since there is root on their devices. Good luck.

New to phone rooting, just some basic questions

Hi all,
I want a rooted phone but my last two phones (LG Stylo 2 and Samsung J727V) seem to be unrootable despite research and no lack of trying. I'm currently trying to root an older phone but there's no root for it with its current firmware and firmware rollback isn't working. It feels like someone in the mix (carrier/manufacturer/OS developer) is invested in making rooting as hard as possible. I really just want to go ahead and get a phone that is easily rootable on a carrier that allows it. Is there a good rule of thumb like, "look, go sign up with this carrier and get this phone today and come back to XDA?"
Thanks!

have you try kingroot? kingroot only will add a admin account. it won't change the stock Rom of your device. if it works for your device this is the fastest way to do it. without pc. just a apk file
