I have tried using nexus 6 turbo charger and a QC2.0 car charger....
They give me normal charging rates

Looks like the Note 4 comes with a 2A charger. I imagine this is all we would need in a car charger to support the quick charging?
Nope. The charger has some type of 9 volt mode to facilitate the quick charge, apparently.

You'd need a special Samsung charger. The one that comes with the Note 4 has dual modes. It will charge at 9V 1.67A up to 50%~ and then switch over to the regular 5V 2A.

So, has anyone tried the ones not listed by Samsung or Qualcomm? Amazon has both Anker and Verizon for about $10 or $12 that are 2 or 2.1 amp. I know they probably don't do what the officially compatible ones do but they'd be better than the old Sprint thing I have been using for 5 years, right? It's probably 1 amp or less. I need a new charger but not necessarily fully-compatible until they get cheap like this stuff I am seeing.
If you want the fast charging in your car you need to buy one that is Quick Charge 2.0 capable.
I tried 10W car charger from Samsung and it charged from about 60 % 1% every minute up to 75 % while testing it. But it isnĀ“t really fast charging technology or?

Where did you get this information re 50%?
When mine passes 50% it continues to quick charge according to the battery stats I have obtained on my device.
I imported a number of the Incipio car chargers to the UK. They are excellent but not cheap!
Has anyone tried the below charger with the Mate 9? I thought it should fast charge since it's 5V 3A, but I'm only getting around 2A according to ampere. Trying to figure out if it just doesn't work or if I got a fake one.
USB Type C Car Charger,Tronsmart 33W Dual USB Car Charger with Quick Charge 3.0 Technology.Attached USB C Cord for Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, LG G5, Pixel C (Benson Leung Approved) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0146FK3G0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9rWSyb3FQ80Y1
It's not going to fast change since it's 5v and not 9v like the OEM charging block.
Thanks. I mistakenly thought if it could fast charge a Pixel or 6p, it would fast charge the Mate 9. It does seem to be charging faster than a standard charger so that's good at least.
No, the Mate 9 uses Huawei proprietary super charging technology and he accessories today don't have it. We have to wait for more devices from Huawei to come out or companies are given the ability to use their tech.
Yeah, I knew it wouldn't be able to get super charging speed, but I thought it would be able to reach fast charging or whatever the middle speed is called.

The OEM Supercharge charger is also only 5v. It runs at a higher amperage, not a higher voltage.
Suggestions for best charger.
Our stock charger is good, its only the usb cable that is bad, first try with a different cable and stock adapter and see what speed you get. Also keep the temp of your phone down, if it reaches above 42 you'll get slow charging.
And suggestions for chargers that I've personally used are mi 2A adapter and samsung adaptive fast charger which is also a 2A charger.
The cable i use is amkette 3A cable.
I use LCARE charger that I bought from Amazon. It is QuickCharge compliant. Charges the device from 0% to max in 2 hours and 5 minutes for me. It's the model with 2 high speed ports and one regular 2.0 amp port.
I bought it for approx 500 rupees.
Does anyone know the speeds at which the OnePlus 9 wireless charging works? Before anyone replies with obvious answers, let me clarify what I know and what I am after.
- I know that it charges at 15W. But that is the maximum possible speed
- I know that I need a wireless charger that outputs at that speed and I also know that I need a powerful wired charger. I have both of these. I am using a qi wireless pad that outputs at a max of 15W and a GaN USB-C charger that uses a combination of voltages and amps at different standards for a maximum output of 45W
What I am trying to understand is the combo of voltage and amps that the OnePlus 9 uses when wireless charging.
E.g. the qi wireless pad I use has the following outputs:
5V/1A
9V/0.83A
9V/1.12A
9V/1.67A
So from the above examples, if the OnePlus 9 does not accept a voltage of more than 5V, my wireless charger won't charge it faster than 5W even though overall it can go to 15W using a different voltage. If the OnePlus 9 does accept wireless charging at 9V, the speed it charges at will depend on the max Ampere it can accept at that voltage.
Anyone know?
As the ad showed the wireless charger for the OnePlus 9 gives a 100% charge roughly in 47 minutes. But it doesn't produce the same power in 50 minutes. So maybe, the advertisement is a lie or my house power socket doesn't produce the expected power to the wireless charger.
Hey guys,
I want to know which one is the best charger for Pixel 7 Pro ! I am currently using Old Pixel 2's charger. But its not charge my phone in good speed. Hence is there any good Indian standard charger available in online portal...
I am using Nothing Phone Charger 45w pd + pps supported. 0-100 in 1.40 hrs...
Just use any good PD Charger. Am using Baseus GaN 65W PD charger. One charger for all my devices.
i am using this 33w charger, gives fast charge and its pretty small, has option of c to c as well as type c to usb. Works on my smart watch and TWS buds so dont need to carry 2 chargers while travelling.
