Hi guys, I got the Bluboo X6 a while ago and must say, it's a pretty decent piece of hardware. Here is a short version of my review. Full review has been posted by Chinese-smartphones.com
Picking the Bluboo out the box immediatly surprised me. It didn't feel as cheap as I would have expected. But when you turn it on, it does feel a bit cheap. The screen is of moderate quality and has a resolution of just 960x540. Far too low on a 5.5"inch screen if you ask me. That said, the rest of the phone is pretty good. The fingerprint scanner in the home button worked very good (it's a slide type) and the camera was remarkably bettery than I would have expected for this price. Audio quality is good as well, and overall performance is fine (30,000 points in AnTuTu). I think the phone would have done great with an extra GB of RAM but that's not the case (just 1GB). Even the battery life was pretty good.

Here you can read the details and watch a video of this working.
Summarizing, is based on rendering screen only showing one component of color. It could be a great idea combined with the light sensor for working automatic in high light ambient, in solar light, etc.
Old News are old.
thats definetely not that i want to see on my wonderful OLED screen
Ok, i think on not a normal use... but think in direct sunlight... your wonderful oled screen... seem to be the same with or without this and power needed is less.... it could be a good solution.
ok what the point to buy a phone with OLED? Buy a phone with monochrome display.
Did it occur to you as well that some modded cameras make washed out photos when using flash?
The phone took good pictures with virtuous 3.5 beta 2 for example, but after flashing 3.0 they are washed out. Its almost like the shutter/flash timing is slightly off. Im sayong this because for a split second when taking the photo it looks just fine, then just as the shutter opens it captures too much of the flash or something...
It cant be hardware because i took excellent photos with particular mods
f##@$% incredible i found the reason: my Momax iCase Pro!
It's strange because it has all the right holes over lens and led areas but the flash seems to reflect or be influenced by the semi-opaque hard plastic back cover:

Thinking about getting this case. Seems good and is curved at the back just like the way Mi5 original body is. And would look perfect if you have one for the Gold Mi5s.
Any opinions?

Hi, I got this case by accident, and I can assure you it's absolutely dreadful.
I haven't even managed to fit my phone in it correctly and it definitely does not offer much in terms of protection.
(it's very low profile/thin etc. but I don't care if I can't put my phone in it)
My advice would be to absolutely avoid it.
The same manufacturer makes a pretty decent one .
It not nearly as thin and discrete but it offers real protection and has a (very small) front lip that protects the screen.
That's the only decent one that I found.
Not sure if they meant to have these available or not.. but I noticed the XZ2 studio samples while looking at their S9 review and if they're correct .. wow, it'd mean Sony actually "fixed" their camera issues for low light (and somehow messed up good light, but im less worried about that).
Look at this:

Or for yourself: (XZ2 vs S9 vs XZP) https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idPhone1=9081&idPhone2=8966&idPhone3=8593
seems like its oversharpening a bit. for some areas with structure it looks good but the rubber bands are looking terrible. samsung has definitely reduced sharpening this time in comparison to sony
Even against the latest iDevice, and the Pixel XL2, i think its quite favourable.
I wonder if the XZ2 will work with the ported google camera app....
