Hello everyone
We've created a game for Android OS based on Unity Game Engine. The game itself is rather simple, gameplay is inspired by the father of all arcade games - PONG. We're aware of the fact that the Arc Ball won't conquer Google Play and we won't be so successful as Rovio, but the creating process of our game took a few days and working on Arc Ball was a valuable experience for us.
Our game offers mechanics which are characteristic for arcade games. You can curve the ball accordingly moving the paddle just before the ball touches it, you can post your highest score and check it in application itself or on our website (top 15 scores). You can also play against your friend on one phone (CPU has three difficulty levels).
In future updates we want to create more diverse gameplay. Currently we're trying to implement mechanics from another classic game - Breakout.
Please share your opinion and leave a comment (here and on Google Play). It will help improve our game and make future releases better.
Unfortunately I can't post links, so please paste them into your browser and delete space before com:

great game
You've made a great game. I was surprised when I realized it was actually an indie game, cause it looks very professional. Yet I think you could have made sound effects better. Anyways, if you plan on making more games, especially flash games, plz contact me I would love to publish it and make a review on my monkey games portal monkeygamesworld.com. Also I might be interested in sponsorship. good job!

Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoy the game! Nice to see a website dedicated to monkey games
The sound effects was made from whatever I could record/mix myself combined with free stuff from the internet, unfortunately I never had any budget to spend on it. The game was made so it also should be playable on some low end phones when it was first released in 2013. Playing too many low compressed sound effects with music at the same time was a performance issue on some devices back then, perhaps not such a big issue any more.
Cheers!
Great game !!! Very good idea and very playable.
But I notice an issue when I press on back button on device, there show up popup "Do you really want to quit?" , next press home button , and next back to the game , there are two visible popups and one of them I can't hide. Sorry for my english

Ah! Thank you for pointing that out! It is now fixed and it will be included in the next update for Android.
You are missing the "real" challenging video games from the 80´s and do want back their simple gameplays and graphics? Then this is what you need!
Play "Breakout: Classic" and enjoy the pure feeling of success and failure at the same time. No unnesessary power ups, no disturbing light effects, ... Just you, your paddle, a ball and lots of bricks who want to become destroyed.
Let your friends play the grandpa of all Acard-games and watch them fail again and again on such a simple game which is much harder than it looks!
Are your ready?
name: Breakout: Classic
publisher: 3-60 Mobile GAMES
At the moment I don´t think you will be able to find the game in the Google Play Store at the moment. Pease search the games Toxic Rain, Save your Toast, Figure Soccer or Tap RACE. These games are from the same publisher.
It would be nice if someone could post the Link to the game.
sadly the app got banned from the app store because of some name reasons. But you can find it again under the name Retro Brickdestroy. Have a bricktastick day
Hi everyone.
I am a hobbyist android app developer and I created my first game for Android - Zbima Tournament. Actually its a remake of a game I created in some obscure programming language when I was 14 years old (with updated gameplay, only graphics remained the same ).
It is a tactical fighting game with focus on strategy and also on skill. It is available at Google Play Store (can't send links yet its called Zbima Tournament)
Details about game:
Game has multiple modes - training missons, ladder tournament, local/network multiplayer.
Gameplay is fusion of tactical choices of types of attacks and minigames that decide the success of attack.
I would be glad it you took a look on it
Cheers
Sorry, but this forum is only for FREE apps and games. Also, I don't think many people will pay 0,80€ for a game when you don't have a free demo

Hello all,
We have just released our 10th Android game, Earth Force Defenders.
Earth Force Defenders is an epic real-time strategy game that mixes up the traditional defense genre. The earth is in danger and you'll be in charge of the last resources to protect the earth against an alien threat. Using only your finger you can command squadrons of fighters to attack the incoming aliens. Lead your troops against the aliens and meet them in space for incredible dogfights, destruction and sacrifice.

Let us know what you think.
Nice defense game, haven't seen/played anything like that before! How did you make the trailer?

I used Sony Vegas Pro, it has a lot of transition effects built in. After that it is just stitching your own gameplay footage and slides together
Excellent game
Your game looks interesting; especially, that you are able to create and build your own units. Did you consider adding Google Leader Board and integration with Facebook to share your achievements? That might have worked out very well.
I only just now saw your reply, so sorry for the late comment.
The Google Leaderboard was something we discussed, but we tried it out in one of our older games and people very clearly said that they did not like it at all, so we are very cautious with stuff like that now, but it might be time to start looking into it again.
