[Q] How to root and install CWM for sk17i(running official ICS 4.1.B.0.431)

i am a user of xperia mini pro and i upgraded the firmware from 4.0.A to 4.1.B.0.431 through PCC few days ago.
i wanna to install Real ICS r4 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707876) but i need to root it and install CWM. I don't know how to root it under the official ICS. Should i downgrade my phone? And How to downgrade?
Can anybody help me?

You would need the flashtool and also an official firmware to downgrade...I'm also with the official ICS and now figuring out how to root it

Yeah I have downloaded it long ago from a site,and I have the file but unfortunately I don't have an unlimited package to upload it,and sorry for late reply..I haven't been notified that you have replied (or maybe they had done but I dunno much here cuz I'm just also new here as you see)
however I hope you have found the file if not then tell me,I will find a link for you

[Q] Stock firmware and OTA

I have a Moto G XT1033 running Android 5.0.2 (Asia Retail Official OTA update).I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it with CF auto root method.No custom recovery is installed,it's running stock recovery. I uninstalled Gp news, movies,utube,motorola help,alert ,migrate apps and 2 live wallpapers without taking backup.No other system modifications were made. My question is will I be able to install the future OTA as Ive deleted the motorola apps mentioned above.If no what should I do in order to freshly flash the stock firmware as I've the stock recovery.

No you can't. Just reflash the current stock firmware when time comes.

Try and search around the forum for it I do not have it on the top of my head sorry!

rooted phone not updating....

I got an update 18.A.5.0.26. .... I think its the lollipop update we are waiting for... But its saying that my phone contains unrecognised software that cant be updated.... I want to update to lollipop sooooo badly.... Any ideas..?? Or can't a rooted phone be updated?? Thanx in advance

1.) This update isn't lollipop
2.) With unlocked bootloader you can't update officialy, use Emma or Flashtool.

It is 4.4.4 kitkat and download it from here and flash using flashtool.

[Q] HELP E8 M8Sn back to 100% Stock

I purchased this device with already installed TWRP and superSU.
In attached image you can see the actual situation:
This is my first Android device and therefore are not very skilled.
What is the best (and easiest) to restore it as it was originally?
Looking in the forum I found WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit, may be useful in my case?

My os is
1.05.401.1
Im m8sx user
Yours is 1.06.401.1
Try to flash my stock recovery so you can update your phone when OTA is available

You still need that stock recovery to install the update :|

Hi mate, happy to find your OTA upload in Android 5.0 Lollipop update for HTC one E8 thread!
I extracted recovery.img from firmware.zip and tried to flash it using WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit but TWRP is still installed, may you help me?
superSU is still installed, so the devise is still unlocked.. Have I to remove it before?
After full unroot tampered unlocket banner will disapear?

Try to flash recovery stock via fastboot, and unroot your device from supersu app. Bootloader lock/unlock is indifferent for ota update. You will need a stock rom with stock recovery and unroot device..

New X500 and OTA update

Hello I get new x500 with installed lolypop 5.0 rom and now I received update to 6.0 . What. I must. Do. ? Update? Or. Not... Is safe because I need twrp and xposed framework too. And I don't know OTA update dont block my Bootloader? And is possible to flash everything after OTA update? Thank you for advice and help.

With 6.0 update
Bootloader remains same
You have to redo the root and xposed
