Hi looking for help searched everywhere about rooting and putting android on my kindle fire 2. I have rotted it watched a video on YouTube download a app and it's rotted but how do I put a android custom firmware on it? Any help would be great thanks

Okay I don't know much about the kindle fire but a buddy of mine wants me to root it and put a custom android rom on it. How do I do this, I think it Is the original kindle fire or it is the "2nd'' one. Help is appreciated

I was wondering if anyone has rooted the new Fire OS4.5.1. Have a Kindle Fire 7 HDX that just received the new OS update to Fire 4.5.1 and I need to root it. I have looked all over the internet but cannot find any help on this new OS version. Can anyone here help me?

im using the kindle fire hd 8.9 (jem) and is now stuck at the kindle fire logo and doesnt show up on the computer at all, i tried booting into twrp and doesnt do anything.
using:
kfhd8-freedom-boot-8.4.6.img

I have a shield TV that I rooted and installed full android on it but this tablet is different it has an older version of android that I have never used before, so PLEASE if someone could tell me how to root it and then a place to find a newer version of android that will work with this tablet....
