I'm using oneplus one running Oxygen OS ( CM 12) via OTA update. My query is that can I flash supersu with default recovery. I have no custom recovery installed. Also, will xposed framework work on CM 12 oxygen OS?
Thank you.

No you can't flash SuperSU with the stock recovery, you need a custom recovery like TWRP, which means you need an unlocked bootloader. Xposed Framework should work on CM12S and Oxygen as it's been updated for Lollipop, but be careful with modules because not all modules work on all ROMs.

Ok so i have dual boot setup on my phone its runing a stock rom and francos kernel and i installed paranaoid android with multirom menager witch is also running francos kernel. and now the paranoid OTA is avalible so here is the question: can i let it flash trough the paranoid ota app or i need to download the ota update and flash it via TWRP in multirom options. im scared if i flash it trough the app it will mess up somthing on my stock rom.
Give out a go. It shouldn't mess up anything on your stock rom. You will have to reinstall franko after you flash

I have a confusion after going through various threads.
I have an unlocked bootloader and the device is running Lollipop and I would like to root it.
Should I use Nexus Root Toolkit or CF-Auto-Root.
I'm confused because somewhere I read that I need a custom Kernel, but I have stock Kernel.
I would no want to change my kernel as it will stop further OTA Updates which Google Rolls-Out, according to me. Please correct me on this too if I'm wrong.
I really need help. Thanks in advance
starting from stable supersu 2.35 modified kernel is NOT required.
stay away from auto tool
Flash latest SuperSU in recovery. Stock or custom doesn't matter.

I was getting random reboots when i went straight from oxygen to cm12s until i flashed the cm12 firmware: https://mega.co.nz/#!acIjQRYJ!3vVAuOCfwNStSl3AcrDnQJYs1IgchuHZU7QyutNYf7c
the OTA zip is apparently the full rom, so wipe data, system, and cache, then flash the cm12 firmware and then the cm12 OTA .. that should be it
I was wondering if anyone has used the ota updates on Blisspop need to know if I have to flash gapps or if it is like cyandelta updating for cm12 where it is all done for you

If you wipe and do a fresh install you will have to flash gapps. If you want to dirty flash it then it should keep the apps you already have installed. That is what I did. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone , i was wondering if any of you guys found a good way to root the latest version version , i tried to manually root via recovery but nothing , please let me know if any of you guys sucessfully did , thanks in addvance .
Yes, pretty much everybody, I'd guess. What method did you use? SuperSU? Doitright?
Best to think of all the answers you want and supply the info up front - you save everybody a lot of time, not least yourself.
I used SuperSU , 3 or 4 different versions 3 betas and 1 not beta then bootloop after every SuperSU installation .. Then I flashed the boot partition again and I removed the bootloop but the root was not there ..

What I did:
1. Flashed all images except the userdata.
2. Boot with TWRP and flash SuperSU.
3. Reboot and done.
