Sudoku is the most popular logic-based game. The aim of the game is to completely fill the entire grid with numbers, such that every 3x3 box, every row and every column contains each of the numbers 1 to 9.
Every Sudoku puzzle has to have only one (unique) solution that can be reached logically without guessing. It's the most important rule of Sudoku. So by definition, a Sudoku puzzle which doesn't have a unique solution is unsolvable. Unfortunately, most Sudoku games on the Internet produce puzzles that have non-unique solutions.

Classic Sudoku puzzle initially contains given clues in various places. The difficulty of a puzzle is determined by the count of starting givens and depth of logic required. Most Sudoku games in addition to standard difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard) have the level of increased complexity called extreme level. But basically extreme puzzles are not as difficult as it seems. The smallest number of starting clues a valid puzzle can contain is 17. Ideally, extreme level should produce the most complex puzzles with 17 givens.
