[Solved][Q] Please help - Asus Transformer TF700

I'm running cm11 and for a while I have had the problem that while in sleep mode my device will not wake from it so I have to restart my devive which hasn't been a problem until last night when my tablet rebooted and got to the logo the arrow will stop circling and then it will reboot. I can get into recovery but nothing I have tried has worked and I have looked around and I have seem some solutions that might work but for one reason or another it won't work or I can't do it so I'm starting this thread to see if I could get some solution that have step by step instructions.
I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2683787 but I can't figure out how to unmount data(if my data is even mounted) and I can get access to from my computer.
Please help.

Your cm rom mighy not be stable, ask from rom's original thread about issue, they should abswer pretty fast

Original thread? link please.

Either you are not on the right bootloader (unlikely) or your /data partition has some corrupt data on it.
Easy fix is to wipe /data from your recovery and reboot.

Thanks for the reply. I just went into my recovery(twrp [email protected]) and wiped data from within the advanced wipe menu(It said it was successful but it did also have some E:unable to stat stuff as well) and it is still freezing at logo and restarting.

That "unable to..." stuff is important. Post it please.
But probably you'll have to format data in recovery. Which can take 60 minutes or more. Let it finish!

Since you already wiped, formatting is the safest fix now. Otherwise you could have tried a filesystem repair from TWRP (also somewhere in the advanced wipe menu).
btw, "Please help" is a VERY bad thread subject.

Ok I will format then thanks.
What would have been a better thread subject? I'm new to this/don't do it very much.
Edit: I have formatted but got 2 more errors(don't remember exactly what they were but both ended with ERROR=255) but my tablet booted up into cyanogenmod just fine just have to set everything up again. I should be ok right?

A summary of your problem in 40 to 80 letters. You should also put more effort in punctuation and shorter sentences - your OP is almost unreadable.

I believe I know these errors, they are caused by a minor bug in TWRP and harmless. Your tablet should work now.

Thanks for the help with my tablet.

I can't wipe/format /data

I tried TWRP version 2.2.x and now latest 2.6.3 to wipe my data on my A100. But when I try to do so, it says shows following error:
Code:
E:Unable to wipe '/data' -- unknown file system 'auto'
E:Unable to format to remove encryption.
In ES explorer /data seems empty. As far as Android goes I am beginner, so I don't know what else should I try.

i can get phone into Fastboot USB and access if from the pc via adb. they i am lost.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Hi,
i also have this problem. See my thread "[Q] Partition destroyed after power loss" below.
It looks like a problem with twrp2.8.5.0. on the HTC Sensation.
I've got the idea, to create new partitions on the device, but i haven't the time to do it. If you get any results, tell me please :=)

I started a RUU of stock and it kept sticking a about 45% ......
All i can get phone to do now is switch on with HTC in the centre of the screen with a Triangle in each corner.
Vol up/down make no effect at power on.
If i try and run 4ext install from pc , it reboots phone and fails on "writing recovery" by saying "remote: not allowed"
So im sort of stuck now ...

Nexus 5 turns on but cannot access anything

I have a Nexus 5 rooted and running Catacalysm 5.1.1 Lollipop (Sep 27, 2015 Stable final release)
Yesterday while I was on my phone all of a sudden it froze for a couple of seconds and then restarted.
When it booted it says "To start Android, Enter your Password"
I can type in literally any password and it will go to the next screen and say
"Decryption Unsuccessful"
The password you entered is correct, but unfortunately your data is corrupt.
To resume using your phone, you need to perform a factory reset. When you set up your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed up to your google account.

Then the only thing I can select is "reset phone."
The thing is I never encrypted my phone. I don’t want to do a factory reset as I have some things in my phone that I need
When I go into recovery this is what I get:
E:Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.
E:Unable to mount ‘/data’
E:Unable to recreate /data/media folder
Updating partition details…
E:Unable to mount ‘/data’
…done
E:Unable to mount storage.
E:Unable to mount /data/media during GUI startup.
Full SELinux support is present
E:Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps when trying to read settings file.
E:Unable to mount ‘/data’
MTP enabled

Also the internal storage shows 0 MB.
When I go into backup these are the sizes that are shown:
System (882MB)
Data (0MB)
Cache (12MB)
Boot (22MB)
EFS (6MB)

I’m using TWRP
I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue or knew anything about what is going on in my phone.
Is my phone dead? Can I get it to work again? Is there any way I can access the internal storage and retrieve my files?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I can't see anything related to formatting in your log.
Please try formatting again and then run
Code:
adb pull /tmp/recovery.log
and post the full log here or on a paste site.

According to the log it formatted successfully, but maybe there was a problem writing back the changes. Let's look at the kernel log (please reboot and retry formatting again to get a clean log):
Code:
adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt

You can't format "cache" it's just a folder. Do you mean formatting a partition? If so, you cannot mount or format a partition that is in use.
You can wipe /clear the cache.....

dont really know what I did, but somebody in a vid said to do so, so i can install a rom. I waited until my battery is empty and restarted the phone. Now twrp doesnt starts anymore. Already installed another version of twrp, does not work, too.
