Currently I'm using Unofficial Beanstalk 5.0.2 ROM and I'm happy with it.
Yet, I'd like to know what are the new features with 5.1. and which ROM is considered to be the most stable and not filled with too many custom stuff.
What would you recommend to try first from the 5.1 roms out there?

Hi. I'm using Blisspop rom, wich is very stable but probably the more complete about settings and configuration.
If you want a 'strong' rom with not too much of 'custom stuff' in it you should be happy with Euphoria by Mahdi I think.
Both on 5.1.1.

There are a lot of them. Look in both Development sections for 5.0 in the title. Vanir is probably the most stable and bug free right now > http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/orig-development/official-vaniraosp-t2890749

CyanogenMod is AOSP. Vanir (AOSP) is indistinguishable from vanilla AOSP.

Its different they get the sources and do cm stuff to them, generally you will get kernels that are for AOSP or CM based ROMS as a result

I'm currently running Vanir ROM. It is indistinguishable from vanilla AOSP (on my Moto X). And for most users, the current iterations of CM12 are so lightly customized that they are, for all intents and purposes unadulterated AOSP too.
I suppose if one wants to split hairs, one could make the argument that these aren't pure AOSP. Then one would have to head over to the OnePlus forum and flash the new , very buggy 5.0 ROM (Not!).

Best to stay away from the opo forums for the serious stuff, the point I was making was just that you have either AOSP or CM and then everything comes from there really,
You need to be aware as you can have serious problems if you flash the wrong type of kernel, I came from a nexus so for me there was quite an important difference and had to watch what version you flashed, amazed actually at how slow development has been with lollipop, as you say a lot of work needed to find one with some customisations, will stick to kikkat till an offiical lollipop S version appears for the bacon
Best lolipop rom
TO me http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...m-bliss-stalk-team-bliss-bacon-10-28-t2921057
this is the best lolipop rom for onepluso ne buddy
I havemy phone rooted and twrp installed on my TMOBILE D801 on lollipop 5.0.2. I have tried CM rom and Slim LP rom, niether of these roms install when i try to load them on my phone using twrp
What roms work on this phone?
Cyanogen based ROMs use the 4.4 bootstack... not 5.0. You could try going back to stock 4.4.2 and start from there.

Check out Original Android Development and Android Development sections and look for [5.1.1] tag in the thread(topic) title.
You can install any of them who has this title provided you first look at their flashing procedure mentioned in those threads.

Try ressurection remix its one of the most stable custom rom and its updated regularly, look for it in android development.
Blisspop and resurrection remix are my all time favourite. Currently in love with smartisan os. (not cyanogen based)
I would suggest using Slimsaber CAF as i'm using it as a daily driver and it's stable. But there are plethora of roms on xda and you can try all of them to find which one suits you the best. Hoenstly, it's all a matter of personal preference and choice. Slimsaber apparently is a stable and "necessary-feature" proof rom. I'm sure you'll like it.
You should try also Sultan's Rom. It's maybe the best Rom for OPO (the 5.1.1 / cm12.1).
If your really adventurous, you could try Sultan's unofficial cm13.0. I'm using it for a daily driver. But, now you can try anything out there since your rooted.

For smooth stable experience go cm 12.1/5.1.1, if u want latest mm then there are some 6.0/cm 13 ROM out also.
and +1 for sultan's ROM. exodus is also good.
Sultans cm13
I second sultans version of CM 13. Its working flawlessly. The snapdragon camera is amazing.
You'll definitely learn a lot about your phone when you start flashing ROMs. Backup often.

Hey there
Mine was also a newly rooted opo just 10days back. The roms I tried in this days where 4. According to my ranking
1.Blisspop
2.Carbon Rom
3.Resurrection remix
4.CM 13.0 (if you want to get a new experience of MM.)
Never tried cm12.1 though. I love customizations and stock cm12.1 doesn't have much.

Depends. If you want the regular cm feel go for sultans rom. I really liked it, but it has just about the same looks as mostly every other. It does have some solid cherry picks that set it ahead of the competition.
However, if you want to try something a bit different but also really well made, try miui 7. This is by far my favourite at the moment. Has official oneplus one support. It's a 4.4.4 rom though but I don't care about that. I actually have way better battery life on 4.4.4 and the miui7 feels like a complete product while being beautiful.
If you do, be sure to follow instructions not to have odd problems due to missed steps during install.

I think right now, its SultanXDA, MM.
The battery life in L, was a nightmare, solved on MM. Of course, MM need some time, but the best way to have it perfect earlier possible its helping to the developers finding the bugs.
If you don't want a alpha the Sultan's 5.11 its really nice too.
I have been working around with many ROMs lately and had a hard time with all of them. Most of them were based on CM. And most of them had network/Sim issues. I just found out that a good stable ROM for GT-P3100 is SLIM 4.4.4. I have not tried it yet but i would like to try something with Marshmallow instead of Kitkat. Is there a good stable rom with Marshmallow?

Marshamallow is currently in development. Lollipop is near stable. And anything below Lollipop is rock stable. My personal preference is SlimKat 4.4.4 by @Android-Andi.

Slimkat works fine on my P3110 and is also the best rom I used :good:
Thanks Andi!
After much trouble with CM13 and CRdroid roms i have gone with Slim and its working very well since yesterday night. I just hoped that such stability was achieved with Marshmallow!
Thanks for the suggestion Andi!

Stability in marshamallow will probably be achieved by the start of 2017.

Hey guys do you know wich rom that support ram swap? Did slimkat 4.4.4 is supporting ram swap? Thank you
I just installed a custom ROM for my galaxy s6 (g920p) along with stock gapps. But my touchscreen is unresponsive. I am able to use my phone with a mouse and physical buttons. My camera is not working, sim card is not working, flashlight not working. Any fix for this issue.
Lineage 14. 1
Nougat 7. 1. 1

It's probably a better idea to post in the lineage os post, the rom has bugs and releases different builds of the rom, are you using the very latest build available?
Yes it is the latest version of the Lineage ROM but I tried installing AOKP ROM before but it had the same problem then

I'd just flash another rom that works, there's loads you can try, most of them are samsung stock based. You might want wait a bit longer until lineage and aokp become more stable then try one of the newer builds

Currently there is only resurrection remix, aokp, and lineage os which based on stock Android, they all have very similar bugs and some only support g920f/g925f variants, so I guess you'll just have to wait until better builds are released
---------- Post added at 04:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:13 PM ----------
Just to note, exynos based devices are hard to develop fully bug free roms as samsung will never release the source for there system, that's why you have these bugs in the roms that are stock Android. Tbh were lucky to even have these stock roms working to a certain extent.

I think your main issue you have is they have not developed a working kernel for your variant, I think they only have g920f/g925f kernel at the moment which is why you have issues. No probs you're welcome.
