Hello Guyz, I edited a ROM Based on Pipo S1 Chinese Firmware, I choosed this Chinese Firmware Because of ROM partition Have plenty of Space more than the English Version, And I removed all Chinese Apps. This ROM is Created for My Personal Use and I'd like to share with you if anybody Want to Try It. I Intergrated Some of the JB4.2 Applications into this ROM, But the Firmware is Still JB4.1. Check the Changelog For Informations. Also Check the Screenshots in Post Number 2. I named this ROM as RINAZA, This is Release 1, So I put the Name as Rinaza R1.

- Download the Zip File and Unzip It,
- Flash the RinazaR1_23022013.img file with RKBatch tool.
- When the First Boot, It will go Directly into CWM Recovery Menu, There Clear the Cache Partitions and Format Data, Then Reboot.
- First Boot Take ~ 2 to 5 Minutes.

Nice I'll try this out soon, BTW I'm on the stock firmware and sometimes when I turn the device on I get a blank white screen, at first I thought maybe a tab plugging the screen in is loose but resetting the device at the back and turning it back on fixes it and I've never had the white screen while using the device only when I turn it on, anyone else with the pipo s1 have this problem? Is it known? Wtf is going on.

This is a bit off topic, but could you give us some pointers on how you extracted and recreated the img file?
I want to do something similar for Pipo S2, mainly to get a bigger app partition but I do not know even with which apps to start in order to decompose the image. Even an app name would help.

The same tools as used on the rk29xx devices works on rk3066.

Gathering from the lack of a download link in 2 weeks that the author has lost interest.

It must be a huge file so far as uploading has not finished...

I wonder what happened to this guy, Last active on xda 4th March.
Shame as this rom sounds good, hope TNT 6 implements some of these features.

I managed to find the lines and for files that command the screen flash when turned off but I have not been able to implement in my xperia mini pro, and I've been analyzing the files of the Galaxy Nexus is having this animation.
for this reason, I need libsurfaceflinger.so and services.jar files of the xperia tipo sony firmware so I could compare and adjust for the xperia 2011

there was also a surfaceflinger_client.so, and I included that too incase you needed it.

Is "Superuser mode" available for 5.1.1 (546) ?

I'm talking about a patched/modified services.jar that disables signature verification; so you can use older/newer/exclusive apps from other devices...Is it available for the Z3 series?
I'm desperate. 5 days have been since the Z3 series started receiving 5.1 and the Z2 is still waiting! I've been reading in some posts that the live wallpaper and themes from the Z3+ are not working in 5.1 but nobody tells exactly what is the problem.
Since the Z2 may receive almost the same 546 build numer, I modified a services.jar following step by step THIS TUTORIAL

Remember that messing around with the framework can lead to a bootloop. If you don't know how to install or how to recover from a bootloop don't try anything! Just wait for a flashable zip.

Nice thread bro! I'm running a xperia z2 stock 5.1.1 .546 rooted (so the mod should work on all .546 devices). I just wanted to volunteer for testing your mod. PM me for anything I need to know. I can test for ya!!

Sony Xpera Z5 Themes

Here are the Z5 Black and White theme tested and working fine on Z1/Z1C and Z2.
Be sure to have services.jar patched so you can install them (i have them patched on the tested phone so don't know if it is really a must thing). Mega download link in video description. Will make a mirror soon
Please report if they can be installed without the patched services for others to know.

[Resolved] Search: special Xperia home.apk

Hello,
I have a rooted Lenovo IdeaTab S6000-L with Android 4.2.2 and tried to get the look&feel from Sony's Xperia Z tablet. I found working "standard-apps" like
Album, Video, Walkman, etc, but the launcher (home.apk) was missing, until I found an .apk wich was said to work only with xperia xposed. Since I kept
no backup and I'm unable to find the correct .apk in Firefox' chronic, I try to find it this way. I don't know, which version it was but I'll try to describe as many
as possible.
1.) the launcher was direct install (no need to put in sys/apk with permissions)
2.) the launcher has no dock and looks like this: h**p://fs5.directupload.net/images/160708/temp/q4976ajx.jpg
3.) the design-button lead to fc
4.) it works in landscape- and portrait-mode.
Does anyone have an idea, which version it could be? i tried different, but they're all with the menu-button in the bottom center...

Got it solved!
During my tryouts to get a working email-apk, xposed was completely deactivated, so no xposed, no Xperia Home...
I use this version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2289880 and it looks much better than
the stock-launcher.
