That's weird, it's not working for me either. Say "wake me up" instead of set alarm.

Haha thanks for the alternative! Do you know why it isn't working?

No clue. I know that it used to work.

I just said "Set an alarm for 6am" and it worked. It must want a time maybe for an alarm? Maybe what you were trying to do was better as a timer. Like "set a timer for 20 minutes" which works.

If your N5 is rooted and and you can install a custom rom. CatalystROM does have that option for you to disable that gesture from home. Give it a go.
Theres also an app called "Google Now Swipe Disabler" which can bind to it and do nothing. The gesture still remains though, very annoying in games!

In all seriousness, I'm not sure what time we're supposed to looking at to help. I see some wake locks happening for a few seconds.
I guess I didn't explain myself well... It's a picture of my phone off charging for a few hours.... But if you look at the line above it says statistics 0s (even though the statistics themselves have some seconds) and the detailed statistics are totally off - Google calendar had 24 wake locks for 2 sec while Tasker is over 1000 but under 1 second... All my setting are constantly skewed and totally off...

Is it a one time event or did this ashtrays happen. I use betterbatterystats and I have seen something similar, but it's always a time event and goes away next time i boot or plug the charger in.
It's been like this for almost a week. I've rebooted multiple times and deleted cache.

Sorry about the spell correction, lol. Damn ashtrays. I guess the only thing I would suggest would be to uninstall and then reinstall the app. I would have suggested clearing the cache but you're already done that.
Here's a screenshot of betterbatterystats with a few minutes of usage... It's totally empty and it definitely shouldn't be...

Sorry sent the wrong thing... Give it time we'll see how that program fairs

Hmm, both are for 4.4 KitKat? 4.4 made it more difficult to get the statistics and bbs wasn't working for awhile. The new version does work. Maybe Rom related?
It's neither... I've had this ROM for 2 weeks now without any real changes and it just stopped randomly...

There must be something wrong with the phone or corrupt on the ROM... better battery stats is only showing one wake lock (nlpwakelock)... Grrr

Thanks for all the help... In the end it's a ROM problem that a module in xposed can fix (except I'm on ART so I'm screwed).
Thanks for the help guys!

Hangouts Notifications

Guys is it possible to set an individual Notification sound to a specific contact? I know you can do this for ring tone but can't seem to find an option for Hangouts.
No you can't.
Yes you can if I understand him correctly.

You can't do it natively, but it can be done with a third party app like light flow.

Thanks guys.
I used to have light flow some time back.
I'll check it out.

Can somebody help me understand my wakeup issue?

I've looked all over XDA and the internet and got some solutions and didn't really work so I've decided instead of trying to fix my problems, I should understand it first.
Any idea what is happening here and why?

Set location mode to Device only in Android settings.
Why is it happening? The device keeps waking up to refresh it's location.
Really? Wow. Thanks for the info. I'll try it out and see what happens

Anyone know what Icon this is on Always On screen?

I had this recently start showing up on my always on screen. Tried messing with all S pen settings but nothing made it go away. Maybe something with the recall?
Looks like you have pinned something somewhere.
It also looks like an ultrasound, so apparently your powerstroke works well.

What this is is a feature called screen off memo. It can be enabled or disabled from Settings, Advanced features, S Pen, Screen off memo. Enabled with screen off, detatching s pen will open a quick memo app for jotting of thoughts and ideas on quick impulse. These memos are stored in Samsung notes.
