Hello Guys and Gals, i'm in a bit of trouble with a phone i just bought for my daughter from ebay. It is a M4TEL SS1060 with MT6572 Hardware. It says that the sim slot is permanently locked. The seller on ebay said it was unlocked for all operators and is not replying to my help cries anymore, obviously it was not lock-free. I managed to root it and even install a custom rom boasting freed sim slot. I looked everywhere i could on google and couldn't find out how to remove the permanent lock. Even payed someone to unlock it and didn't manage. I don't want to waste more money !! If you guys need more info about the phone and believe you can help I'd dearly appreciate it !! Please HELP ME !!!

Hi all,
I've recently been through a couple of different guides to root/unlock network and maybe flash a newer operating system than gingerbread, but unsuccessful so far.
This particular model seems like it's a European version as it's defaults were Nederlands and I'm in the UK. Can anyone confirm as to whether it's possible to root this
device or at least unlock it in someway as it's locked to EE but originally T-Mobile, it also asks to enter Network Lock Control Key even after going through the procedure to root.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
