Thank you about to try one of these out. They look great.
HTC One (M8) MultiRom ViperOne + Hypernova & CyanogenMod 12.1.1
Edit: heh, I posted this from my phone and then switched to the pc... you may want to resize these previews. lol... the phone automatically does it but on a comp these previews are massive.
These are great! What would I have to do to flash these on a Verizon M8?

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip splashname.zip
After it completes
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Edit: These are variant specific and I can tell you they don't work on Verizon. I'm assuming these are for AT&T or T-Mobile variants. The manifest has to match your carrier. I'm on Verizon and they wouldn't flash for me.
Flash via recovery like any .zip update.

Edit: These won't flash on my end. I'm just getting errors in adb when flashing. Never had any issues flashing anything via adb previously

Ha... woww I feel like an idiot. He made these flashable zips. I noticed it had an updater-script in the .zip folder so its flashable. Just flash from recovery. It should work. Everytime I've ever changed a splash its been done via adb. This was a first for me. My bad...
Does this work on S-On device?
S off is required, because Flashing requires write Access to the bootsplash Partition
these are awesome.
@Smilex93 for some reason when I go to the link it leads me to a page that says "bad gateway". Can you fix this please?

is there a way to change the boot logo (a stupid motorola icon) on the A2? I have seen the option in rom toolbox, but not for our device.
not impossible, but very hard
I have HTC Desire, and i wanted to drop the white HTC logo in favour of a black background variant.
long story short it was really REALLY hard, it requires FULL root. (ROOT AND S-OFF)
I wouldn't recommend trying it unless your very happy to delve into the darker parts of android customisation.
read these:

It is fully possible to do it without unlocking the bootloader. I have messed around with it and managed to turn the stock logo into a .bmp image but not vice versa. However that was all based off of information for the Atrix 4G and Photon because I was being stupid and didn't think about googling "droid bionic/droid 3/droid razr/droid 4 boot logo change."
So here it is for the Bionic. I haven't tried it but I bet it will work (for making the logo.bin, then flash it using FASTBOOT).
Got it
Awesome thanks so much I figured it out. if anyone wants it here is what I came up with!

that is how it will look on the screen. the attached bin file will look different on the computer. Anyone doing this should follow the instructions in the last post for creating it, as I did. than boot into fastboot and
Code:
fastboot flash logo.bin logo.bin
works perfectly. bin file to flash if you want mine: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yye2cnbezuwwxcu/logo.bin

Just hit cancel for Twrp password. Also this may have the same issue as the other root tool, if you aren't flashing a rom after unlock and root you must clear data in Twrp. There are threads around here about it, in general I believe. Try booting back into bootloader then Twrp and wipe data, see if it boots. I fixed mine this way. If not there is a restore dead nexus 1 click in the development forum that'll get you up and running again.

Good to hear. I think more instructions should be in the op, like the data wipe If not flashing a custom rom.

oh, sorry about that, this tool is an alpha(do not have the device but has been tested) as for the bootloop part the program asks you if your stuck in a bootloop then directs you to a thread that fixes that as these are 2 different processes.
this tool is classed as development, and the unbrick process is part of trouble shooting and help!

There is no root necessary?
You need a recovery to flash, so you must be at least unlocked with custom recovery.

Yes I am. I don't want to do some stuff that I dont have any knowledge.
If its possible that I only have to instal it with TWRP, thats easy. But root and stuff. The last time I did it with my One S, it went wrong.

Enjoying the theme so far, only one thing about it bugs me. Instead of seeing Verizon Wireless on my lock screen, I see T-CDMA 64. Anyone know how to change that
Theme works well on DH 1/21 build on M8 Verizon, including "Verizon Wireless" appearing on lock screen.
Before I applied the theme, it said Verizon but now it does this:
Sprint User report:
Looks wonderful, but as other have reported, the carrier indicator reads "Roaming Indication ON" instead of Sprint. Otherwise no issues.
