[Q] Random Soft Reboots (LP) - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I've been having some random soft reboots ever since flashing stock pre-rooted Lollipop. It's not a big issue, but it'll sometimes happen out of nowhere or when I'm opening/closing an app or even when pressing send on a message or whatsapp message, making it annoying that I have to wait for it to start up and retype the message again.
I know it's a soft-reboot, since all of my recents are still there etc.
Here's some screens. One was when I charged to 100%, turned charger off, went to sleep, and woke up with 0%!
The other is the battery graph and you can see the random reboots occurring.
Flashing Xposed Alpha 4, so hopefully this should fix.
Thanks in advance!

In Lollipop, the recent apps list doesn't get cleared with normal reboots.
I've never been able to soft-reboot my Z3C, it always freezes and "hard-reboots" (KK and LP)

Phone functions bugged

Hi guys,
I have an issue with my 8x. Most of the time when someone calls me, they can't hear the ringing tone, in the meanwhile I see/hear my phone ringing normally, but when I tap Answer, it stops ringing but doesn't engage into calling mode - nothing is heard neither on my side nor on their side. And recently (perhaps because of the HTC OTA update from Feb. 6th) whenever this happens, the phone crashes after pushing the 'Answer' button.
Similarly I get a lot of 'System Busy' errors when I try to call people, however this isn't as frequent, nor that frustrating.
I tried resetting the phone, removing, re-inserting my SIM card, updating the phone (this just seems to have made it worse). Did anyone else encounter such behavior?

Is this kind of power jump normal?

I opened up an app that I know is currently buggy and freezes up my device...... but i tried it again hoping "maybe this time it will be okay"... it wasnt, everything froze up and i had to do a manual restart (hold down the power button until reboot).
But is this kind of a power jump, when the device was only frozen for about 30 seconds, normal to expect, or is it another sign that my battery is slowly getting crappier?
Ive attached a screen cap with the specific part im referring to circled.

It would be little bit difficult to determine the cause of the power spike but as you said
I know is currently buggy and freezes up my device.

Click to collapse
it might be a problem with the app. You can try to update it and see if it worked. It might also be caused due to low memory.

UPDATE:
Resolved. Did not write it down, but found a running service I didnt recognize and disabled it - issue is gone.
Recently, this caller id/incoming call screen began popping up. If you hit answer, it will open to Samsung stock screen and let you swipe to answer. If you reject call, it just ends. I am up to date per Sprint (Android 7.0, Samsung 8.1, 4.4.16-11982677 kernel)
I cannot find any apps or running processes that could be causing it. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
TIA
Need an update on how to fix this.
Same problem. Driving me nuts.
Can anyone identify which service has taken over my phone answering screen?
Flashlight app. Idk how or why but when I uninstalled flashlight app this stopped. It took over my lock screen too
YES!!!
Removed flashlight app - problem solved. ?

[Resolved] 10192 process battery usage - Moto Z2 Play

Hi all!
I'm experiencing issues with the 10192 process on a global version Motorola Moto Z2 Play.
This morning I noticed that the battery was draining quicker than usual (typically when I get my phone off the charger it drops by 1% in the first 10-15 minutes but this time it was down with about 9%).
When I opened battery stats in Settings menu I saw that "app" 10192 with black Android icon was using most of the battery.
Does someone know what it is and how to fix it?
Here's a screenshot of the battery usage screen:

Thanks in advance!
P.S. I fully charged the phone last nght, today the process has gone and the battery drain is quite normal. Seems like a leftover from an uninstalled app.
