Is there a way i can install CM12.1 on to my converted 5.1 gpe? I tried moto g upgrade threads to CM12.1 but then my SMS messaging wont work (tried various msging apps too) since they were for moto g and not for gpe. Any thread i missed reading, or instructions that you have? I also looked for getting back to my original dual sim xt1033 from the converted 5.1 gpe, but again i couldn't find many resources.

Hi guys.I bought moto g and unlocked and rooted my phone. Ivam running on stock 4.4.2.
My question is can I use cm 11 on my phone.
I saw official cm11 for xt1032 but I want it on my dual Sim phone.
And a question can I use that cm11 with a working 1 Sim on my phone ?

I was planning to install Paranoid Android on my xt1033(Stock 4.4.4) but i see they don't support it and i need to convert my Moto G to GPE before i can flash PA.
Can anyone help me in converting my Moto G to GPE
Note: I earlier had trouble recovering my Moto G from GPE (4.4.4) to stock 4.4.2.

i followed this guide when i converted my XT1033 to GPE
guys just now i have installed official carbon rom on moto g (xt1033) carbon rom supports dual sim but its keep on crashing and rebooting systemmui stoped working so dont waste your data by downloading carbon for moto g xt1033 . wait for few weeks developer will fix these issues thanks to developers its really nice rom for single sim and sorry for my english

Who cares about the dual-sim versions anyway.
If you want custom ROMs, better be off to a single-SIM version.
Also why would anyone download a whole ROM via mobile data if it's limited........ can't understand such ppl.
I have moto G XT1033. I wanted to install MIUI v6 ROM, so i had to convert my moto G to GPE edition. MIUI is a Kitkat base ROM (4.4.4). Now for some reasons, i want to revert back to my XT1033 & try some CM12 ROMs. I tried some links but wasn't able to find the solution. A proper guide would be highly appreciable
