The N8020 is undoubtedly excellent device which was unfo left aside from mainstream for LL updates. Great someone, who is able to do it ... , picked up the ball. I'm just bit confused, why in your link to Sbrissen post you refer to is as 8020 which is internationa model when it is actually I925 which is Verzion version. Is there no problem with carrier lock?
Also I've noted the new built from 30-Apr-2015, did you manage to fix streaming? I'm running 5.0.1 on S2 (best smartphone ever ) going to update to 5.0.2, got Alpha updated to 5.0.2 finally yesterday. It would be great hat-trick to have my N8020 lifted to same level. Actually there are other options to watch Netflix so that will not stop me. Just other stream as I use it often to follow up various webinars (BrighTalk, etc) on the go.

I have been using smegg's 30 April 2015 build for about 2 weeks now and it's been great with a few minor bugs.
Findings:
1. Netflix - as mentioned by @frogger55 and @smegg, I'm unable to watch Netflix on my tablet.
2. YouTube - Sometimes, a few seconds into the video the YouTube would stop and notify me there is no connection. It prompts me to press retry and the video resumes.
3. Volume - I feel that the media volume has been turned down as compared to stock ROM and GNABO v8. I had to change the volume levels using root Explorer.
4. Hulu - I am able to start Hulu and browse. Once I click on an episode, the show network (eg.: FOX) will play it's 2-3 second ad and I just end up waiting for the show to start. I'll have to check on this again.
I don't make calls using my tablet so I wouldn't know if there is that "end call" bug. Sorry.
I did notice the 3 updates and I did try flashing cm-12.1-20150516-NIGHTLY-i925.zip but was unable to because..
"This package is for device: p4noteltevzw, i925, SCH-I925; this device is p4noteltexx."
Other than that... Everything else works great so far.

Btw, to update yourselves, just dl new version, unzip the old version somewhere and replace all files in it with files from new version, leaving the folders alone, then rezip. should work fine
Any chance of a possible port to the i925U? Or will this work on it? (Just got this tablet, still learning it's community ) . This now just seems to be the only lollipop rom :/

I'm a newb on this forum, just got my first android device : a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inches...
I installed Galaxian-Soup's AOKP-Milestone 5 (as explained on this thread) and it almost works : the only problem so far has been that the microphone seems to be off...
Is this a known bug of AOKP ? I searched the web for this and found that some people have been having this problem on other devices...
Could anyone please help me ? I like the features of AOKP (specially the Rom Control thingie and the ability to hide the navigation bar), so I'm not really happy to go back to stock...

Also, I have read the posts you are referring to (although after having posted this one). Let me rephrase my question :
Is this a known bug of AOKP or is it specific to the GT2 ?
Is there any way to get the (excellent) Rom Control thingie without flashing AOKP (and therefore keeping my mic working) ?

known bug to device. Keep in mind they just created the device tree and the aosp Rom will have quirks. Answer to second question. No.

I have been following this forum for my Galaxy R updates and since now the kitkat version is available (A big Thanks to karthik050782), I am looking for the list of working features this new [ROM][4.4.2][OFFICIAL]OMNI 4.4.2 for GalaxyR offers.

I am very excited about this release want to immediately flash this rom but before i do so just want to confirm are the basic features like calling, internet, wifi etc are working.
It would be a great help for people like me who wants to update but are bit hesitant cause this galaxy r is what we have and are ready to go for it fir the basic features of a smartphone are available.
It would be great if official releasers of ROM list the working features here or on the official post itself.

However I just want to tell you that, you'd use the search function instead of creating a new thread.

Besides you could've asked the same question in the discussion thread itself by creating a new post instead...
Anyway, I'm using OMNI rom myself and I can tell you that most of the features are working fine.
There are however some bugs which are already listed there in the discussion thread...
Here is a list of bugs for you:
>Some Major Bugs
- Mass storage(only mtp works).
- Wifi Tethering.
- Bluetooth A2DP (bluetooth handsfree)
>Some Moderate Bugs
- An electronic sound is played sometimes while playing songs.
- First reboot takes longer than usual (after that size of data/lost+found folder increases to 1+ Gb).
- Screen Recording (it won't work as we don't have neon support) (Use 3rd party apps like SCR Screen Recorder for workaround)
- 90 degree rotation bug in Camera(photo) in portrait mode
- Camera stops responding when picture size is changed.
- Browser FCs when Incognito mode is used.
- Camera stops working when back button is pressed while viewing any image.
>Some Minor bugs
- Gallery FCs when sharpness is changed while editing image.
- Fail to install apk from 'downloads' app.
- Movie Studio App FCs when new project is created
Everything else is working perfectly fine.
However I suggest you to please read this thread carefully before flashing.

play store apps not showing
this is a really good build. it also fixes the email exchange/calendar sync which is great.
i just noticed that some apps do not show and cannot be installed in the play store.
such as the Amazon app.
im not sure, why this is .it works fine on other roms. not sure why this is.

The ROM has a modified DPI. Change it back to 480 and then Amazon will let you update their app.
Also you can install the apk. Or find a gapps package that has multi-dpi support.

if you need any help, i can be of assistance. by the way DJL you are such a great coder. how wonderful is it that we get another kick after more have left, and everyone thought this phone was dead. Its the best kitkat rom. I find myself adding CM Browser, root explorer. I used your local manifest and no errors. Easy as pie. Lets me have a base for beanstalk so thank you brother so much. Hello How do I change the theme
Hello everyone, I know this thread is rather old, but I finally got this running on my SGH-T959W (Wind Mobile) and its amazing compared to the gingerbread! Anyhow, I was having trouble with music control via in-line headset remote (pause/play, vol up/down, call receive, etc.). When the keys are pressed, it's no longer recognized as earlier the soft-key buttons would light up once the headset buttons were pressed. I am using a Sennheiser MM30G headset, if that matters. Am I missing essential drivers that I have to flash for the commands to be recognized?

i tried this rom and i found no bugs. little 'issues' i got are
* its shows 'vilhala final' in somewhere bulild version or somewhere i cant remember
* i started subway surfer and it ran with minor lags, but one i'm done playing. i couldnt exit game and suddnly fone got forzen and shutdown. might be extensive battery drain or sur to less RAM, but fone didn't restarted. i did battry pull. pluged into charger and then started, phone boots normally. (i had 79%battery when i started game)
* fonts are not attractive to me but thanks to dev who gave us choice to download custom fonts online and use it normally. i did that.
* Adw launcher has not any better looking themes (to me)
* Status bar dissapread so many times (i recheckd settings)
* THIS THINGS MADE ME THINK THAT ive read sgst959v can b overclocked at most 1.3, but ive seen in quadrnt tht this is overclocked at 1.4.
i want to let people know that i am not any dev or skilled person, m just normal user sharing his experience about this rom. i dont know exactly that is was kernel or rom which overclocked CPU to 1.4 . m using blastoff kernal with this rom.
*** all those above stated are not bugs or something, they are just issues in encountered while using this rom , so please dont take it as negative. i really appreaciate the effort of dev, and i believe to let dev know about user experiences. + or -ve.
PROS
smooth, customiszable (really) , no lags during functions, clean scrolling , effective DSP manager, power menu mod, removed bloatwares, nice connectivity modem, very nice battery timing, beautiful buble effects excellent grident looks in messaging (clean yet beautiful), wifi battery and signal icons are good.
thank u soo much for this . and i reaqest, people still have this phone so please do devlop more of roms for sgs4g t959v. i really apreeciate your effort.
