I don't have first hand experience with these cases, but I can tell you that they're generic China cases found all over aliexpress/eBay.
eg. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Newest-4200m...493?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33a1174b5d
They likely aren't 4200mah, but I think it's safe to say it's over 2000 mah.

I also bought zerolemon and had issues. Does not charge phone and is intermittent.

So far the Anker aftermarket battery has been working very well as my 2nd battery.
samsung.com has it for $40, $50 for the kit, it is currently on backorder, i'm thinking they should have it in a week or two, just keep checking. also, don't forget to register your phone with them, you'll get an email for 50% off cellphone accessories priced no higher than $50, max 5 items.
I threw the dice, and ordered off of ebay. Should have 2 batteries and a charger in 3 weeks....

Isn't the S3 battery 2100mAh stock? The S4 comes with a beefier 2600mAh battery. Cool that the batteries will work in a pinch though.
Yeah. And It has a little space on the right side of the battery but it fits snug and the phone turns on

I ordered two of these batteries and they just came in today. The battery and the cover don't make the phone that much thicker.
I agree on the Anker Batteries. Had two of those for my EVO 3D after buying all sorts of different batteries. They are the only ones that lasted for me.
Testing out one of the extended batteries. Starting at 90% power. I'll report back after several hours with usage statistics.

Works good, no NFC (as with most cheap extra batteries).. Battery Monitor Pro registers 3100mAh :good::good::good:
a bit for a tight fit as you'd expect from an extended battery that fits with the stock backplate (which bulges very slightly)
So far so good though

Those are the ones I bought XD hoping they work fine!
Just bought the Anker battery, arriving Tuesday. Will be interested to see how it fairs considering I bought it brand new for only £10, with the official Samsung battery costing £35. As long as it fairs up relatively well, I'm not fussed about not having the NFC capability.

Used same branded batteries as spares for my Galaxy Nexus and they perform fine. You probably won't get the same as from the official battery but these are well worth it for those who need some extra juice and don't care about losing NFC.
A screencap of my 5200mAh battery on its initial charge.

Top batteries (normal size)

There is already few threads like this but i like to get more info on most popular non-orginal batteries from people with little longer use.
My own experience is with Cameron Sino 2600mah with little under 1 year of use and still working pretty good.
I chose this battery cause it fills all certificates and i got it fast in my country.
Now i`m planning next battery after few months but can't find much information or reviews.
I'm considering Anker or PolarCell and also same as i currently have cause it worked well.
Any recommendations or opinions for this?
I'd go for original samsung one if it is still available for you.

thx i was sliding to this choice
I can get one for 20$ with year of guarantee
Got the ravpower 2800mah battery. Awesome purchase, and it lasts longer than the OEM, because of the extra 200 mah's.
Way cheaper than the OEM, and just as good. Going with ravpower from now on, or until I need new batteries, which won't be for another year and a half, probably.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA Free mobile app
I don't get why anyone would actually pay that type of $$$ for the OEM when the ravpower is just as good, AND lasts longer. Makes no sense.

Hello,
I want to change the battery in my note 4 but it seems that there are false ...
or find a Samsung original battery at a good price?

Agreed, I've been using Anker 3220mAh for about half a year now. The good thing is the package on amazon comes with two at a fairly good price and an external charger. Ive been carrying the extra with me always and never had problem with battery life because i just swap when one dies.

I've got several 10,000mAh ZeroLemon batteries and a couple of Hyperion 10,000mAh batteries as well. The difference, ZeroLemon is a TriCell battery so you won't get a 100% accurate battery reading unless you pull the battery and reinsert it. The Hyperion is a single cell battery that will always report the correct battery states, however the Hyperion doesn't hold up as long as the ZeroLemon in my opinion. I tested both batteries when they first were released for the distributorship in the USA. The Anker battery I've never tried, however there are literally thousands of positive comments on that battery so I'd have to agree it must be a good battery as well. If your looking for a replacement battery pretty close to OEM, I'd go with the Anker. However if your looking for more power I'd go with the Hyperion. And finally if you're looking for more power, durability, and a battery that just don't quit, I'd go with the ZeroLemon. Personally I use ZeroLemon and a full charge with literally everything on, full brightness, Bluetooth, WiFi, heavy use, etc, etc, etc, will run for 2 1/2 to 3 days. But now it's a beast of a battery and it's not that light either. I'm a former SEAL, & I consider my cellphone with the ZeroLemon battery my concealed weapon, lol. One hit with that thing and it's lights out, lol.
Developers don't need no stinkin' signature!
If I've been able to help you, please hit the "Thanks" button. *
Been using my Anker for 1.5yrs too. Love the peace of mind of knowing you will never run out of power and need to charge outside.

So, if the Anker battery is the the same capacity as the Samsung, then why would it be any better?

I hadn't thought of that. I tend to purchase directly from Samsung to avoid just that; it's worth the few extra dollars for peace of mind, plus should anything go wrong I have a reliable (and accountable) place to go back to.

If you want an battery with a good price, try searching an OEM Samsung battery.
OEM battery is an original one but without proper packaging as it should be sell to a manufacturer not to end user.
An OEM battery might cost much less than the original non OEM.
Make sure it is an Original OEM battery by buying from trusted vendor.

Cheaper for equal if not almost the same quality. Bang for your buck for not having to pay "brand" taxes.
Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
Maybe you should consider buying the extra battery kit. You get a new battery and a charger, so you can charge it outside the phone. In this way you are almost certain that the product is genuine, plus you can use your old battery as a backup, even if it's not in the best shape.

"Brand taxes"? I hear this phrase thrown about quite a lot, but what does that really mean??? I'll overpay for the device, but I'll try to save a few dollars on the accessories. Consider this: anecdotally, there have been more than a few cases of those third-party batteries failing or exploding. If it's a power accessory like a battery or charger, I'd much rather take my chances with the brand's items than a third-party just to save a few bucks.
Put it this way: to me, it's like purchasing a performance automobile but servicing it with aftermarket parts and filling it with regular gasoline, just to save money.

I think it is more like servicing your (performance or not) car at stealership vs local mechanic. As long as you know that they are good trusty mechanic (or good brand in case of battery) you should be good without paying the premium.
Okay . . .
I respectfully disagree, but we'll chalk this up to parallax and leave it at that.

I have a zerolemon 7500 mah battery case coming in from amazon in a couple days (should be here this weekend). It's pretty expensive though at 70 dollars. Only reason I got it is because they gave me a hefty discount to do a review on it.

Finding Replacement Battery in 2017?

Anybody know where to find a battery that will fit in the Shield Tablet? I know there are several threads online (here on xda, on GeForce forums, and other places) that discuss replacing the shield tablet battery and a few different part numbers / batteries that work, but all those threads are from 2016 and 2015, and all the suggested batteries can no longer be purchased (out of stock and/or discontinued everywhere I've looked). My Shield Tablet battery still works, but it's getting weak and I'd like to bring to back to it's full glory (only get about 3 hours of SOT anymore and AccuBattery lists the estimated capacity at about 3400mah out of the original 5200mah).
Check the original battery specs and get one with similar specs.

Welcome to the new Trump embargo..
Maybe another source/seller..
Ok, so I just spent the last hour or so scouring eBay for batteries, and I found several options but none of them are exactly the same size (mAh or dimensions) as the old battery. According to comments online, the original shield tablet battery is exactly 3.5mm x 74mm x 152mm.
I know this is a long shot, but to anyone who has already opened up they're tablet: do you think it is at all possible to squeeze a slight wider or slightly thicker battery in the shield tablet? Like maybe 0.5mm to 1mm thicker, or maybe 4mm to 6mm wider?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA Labs
Ok, I'm going to be going ahead with replacing my Shield Tablet battery in the next few weeks or so. Not sure exactly when, but when I do, I'll post my results in this thread so shield owners can find it in the future. Below are some links to the batteries that I found on Ebay that MIGHT be compatible with the Shield Tablet. The original Shield Tablet battery size is suppose to be 3574152 (3.5mm x 74mm x 152mm), according to a comment by Jose Fuentes on this site. All of the batteries listed below ship from China, I couldn't find any that ship out of the USA, but they should all be able to be shipped to the USA.
Ebay Links (if any of these links stop working because the lists are over, just search Ebay for the text of the links):
3.7V 5500mAh 3380150
3.7V 5135mAh 4563135
3.7V 4850mAh 3773140
3.7V 5000mAh 4068106
3.7V 5000mAh 3380140
3.7V 4800mah 3373158
3.7V 5200mah 3377140
When I get around to trying to replace my Shield Tablet battery, I will most likely be buying two of the batteries listed above (the 3.7V 5200mah 3377140 which I'm really hoping fits, and probably the 3.7V 4850mAh 3773140 because it should be most likely to fit).
Thanks for updating. I'm definitely interested in this!
Ok I just ordered the 5200mah 3377140 battery today. It's coming from China to the USA, so it'll probably take week or so to get here, but when it arrives I'll report back if it fits or not! So check back in 10 days or so.

Hi. My K1 seems to be very poor of mAh. Another problem is the recharge: it takes long time with all my cables and charger that i have. So, i have installed AccuBattery and after 1 recharge he gives me that the battery health is 60% (3100 mAh).
What can i do?
Can i calibrate my battery or maybe it's time to replace it. I have this tablet from 1 year
Inviato dal mio ONEPLUS A3003 utilizzando Tapatalk
Just another update. The battery finally got into the USA yesterday according to the tracking info, so it should be delivered to me pretty soon. I'd guess sometime early next week (Sept 11th or 12th ish). I'll report back once it arrives.

Ok so the good news, the battery came in today!
The bad news, it's just a fraction of a mm too wide to fit in the battery space in the shield tablet! I could probably force it into the space, but it would be putting pressure on the sides of the battery, which I'm afraid might cause a battery rupture because the battery would have absolutely no swell room (on top of already having pressure on it). So I'm going to have to order a smaller one later and try again. The thickness and length was fine though (it's actually considerably shorter length wise than the original).
