Seriously? it has a feature list at least. Why do you NEED a screen shot. If you're that curious, make a backup and install it for yourself.

I haven't noticed any bugs yet but yea, probably the same as cyanogenmod has.
How much time takes the installation? because i tried to install it since yesterday and without success. I used twrp 2.8.6 and philz 6.58.7. All that I see is patching system image for a long time, i let it installing for 4 hours (i was sleeping) and nothing

Yep, it's very weird:silly: i have the LP bootloader 41.18.
Maybe the update binary is the problem (i guess), but if it works for you and others guys... I wiped everything to flash this rom.

Such a huge & great feature set! and all is working well with CyanideL!
Outstanding to bring back some of those favorite items from the kk era.
Did i miss finding Shift Tools in this build?
Thanks @rogersb11 and Niropa
"Same bugs as Cyanogenmod" Is Dialer and Messaging working properly? I'm using CM12.1 by Meticulus and he has overcome this. MMS doesn't work on stock app, I think, and something about 3G is going on, but it works. I was looking for a new room with more features (this one is perfect) but I wanted to know what's actually going on. I'm on KK bootloader. xt1031. Thanks for your help

EDIT: Just realized I need the lollipop bootloader (according to TWRP). I guess ROM hunting leads to this misplacing of information.

The ROM doesn't really have any real bugs. My mms works on stock app just fine. There are a few annoyances but they are very minimal, meaning you may not even notice them. Couple qs tiles don't change the icon state properly but still work properly. Can't really think of anything else, at this point the few issues that I had have been resolved. Status bar brightness slide doesn't work but it's in the pulldown menu anyway. I'll fix it at some point, just have to pick my battles when I have time

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.2 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

changelog
BUGS:
1. Backlight not always turning on. Mostly observed in-call, some reporting that turning off automatic brightness will minimize the effect.
2. Network event notification not working. Even checked, the events are not reported
3. Swipe on standard keyboard gives FC on keyboard
4. WiFi has connectivity problems with certain wifi networks (unable to connect). This happens mostly with secured networks not open ones/hotspots, unfortunately couldn't find a pattern for this. Switching wifi band from Auto to 2.4GHz only, seem to solve the connectivity issue.
5. Some rare crackling noises and audio problems, mostly in-call and while adjusting volume with vol buttons
6. USB tethering not working. Might be due to incorrect drivers since when activating a new One S device show up in Device Manager but with no drivers installed (Windows 7 & Windows 8.1). WiFi tethering (hotspot) works though. Some reports say also BT tethering works
7. Rebooting phone sometimes goes in bootloops and/or incomplete loading (cell signal not present). Powering down and starting up again usually solves this.
8. Sometimes, usually during a call, mobile network disconnect and it's connected again after call ends. I've seen this many times but I believe it was also present on android 4.3 before
Changelog:
-2nd build) cherdy-picked SD not mounting fix!
-3rd build) cherry picked fix for bluetooth car-kit fix!

5. Added extra options in phone Phone - Settings: network event notification
6. Added BT car-kit fix for certain car-kits (solves the 5 sec disconnect issue). I've put it into list since this is the only AOSP ROM having it included (thanks again phoenixita)
7. Several cosmetic changes through ROM to be in line with KitKat: white icons, scroll bars, sliders, check-boxes, notif icons and so on

The icons are from 4.4, it's just because it's AOSP and not Google apps, e.g the launcher is not the new one as its not in AOSP source

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating or any form of "pay to flash".
"Give credit and thanks where is due!" That's something that has fuel the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....
| OmniROM | AOKP | ChaOS | Paranoidandroid | SlimROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

I may not always have time to check this thread. I usually stay on top of things, but real life happens. When reporting bug's, or requesting new features, the best way to make sure your heard, and a sure fire way to get things done is using our Jira site. There's always someone monitoring this, so if I'm tied up, there's a good chance that by reporting here, your issues will be resolved quickly. Remember, before you post anything, take into consideration what your issue is. Could it be a gapps issue? Are you running a different kernel than the one provided that could be causing problems? Are you running any unsupported Xposed modules? If not, use this tool to your advantage and make life easier for us all! You need to create a simple user name and password to access the site. It'll only take a few seconds, and Neither of these can be seen by us, it's just a security measure. Here's a link to the site, and it's also in the thread OP. http://jira.dirtyunicorns.com/browse/DU-60?filter=-3
Although builds on xda are weekly we do release test builds during the week exclusively on Google+ . They contain new features/bug fixes etc but as they are test builds we do not post them here.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

NOTE: I am working on submitting for official DU support for a few devices. As I create the corresponding Gerrit Patch Sets for this device, I'll link them here so you all can see progress. Also, I don't own a 'merlin' variant, and therefore, won't be supporting it yet. I will need to add releasetools to setup the dual codename convention. If any merlin users want to expedite support, pull request in releasetools support here.

Are you coming from a ROM with Layers?
Make sure you remove your 'overlay' folders and perform a FULL WIPE
My battery stats are all messed and reporting the wrong percentage, what can I do?
Stop using another kernel. Do a FULL WIPE and flash the ROM again
Is this ROM CM based or AOSP based?
This ROM is based off AOSP
Does this ROM have layers or the CMTE?

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

cool.. can someone tell d battery backup? thanks
The link that you've given for V4a is only for nexus devices :/
Is this signed with the DU private key, and is the mobile network problem that was present in the final unofficial build solved in this one?
link download is broken, however entering androidfilehost looked for his profile and thought: D
thank you for work
Sent from my Moto G (3rd gen) using XDA-Developers mobile app
This ROM is still in its infancy stage, it doesnt have the unicorn kernel nor all the benefits of a real DU ROM, I suggest for all to wait a few months if you want DU as a daily driver. Only use this for testing or if you are a flashoholic.
Anthonex said:
I can assume that it works well on my device. No bugs at all. I flashed also a custom kernel and xposed and some moto g4 apps and they work well. The only "issue" that I am facing are the blinking red corners that are used for debug, but I am planning to remove them.
And for those who missed 720p videos on YouTube: in build.prop replace "ro.product.model=Moto G (3rd gen)" with "ro.product.model=MotoG3" and then reboot.
That's all for now. Cheers.

Did I say it didnt work well? I just said as we have many custom ROMs you should just wait before making this your main ROM, since this is the first build. (Lots of things mentioned in the OPs post about the ROM are actually not in it cause he took over the project and started from scratch I guess.)
@npjohnson Thank you bro. great work, I installed it today and the rom is very fast and stable, I'm happy with it you rocks
DU 10.3

Okay. To clarify. This is incorrect. All Hardware works fine. It has every DU feature it can make use of, and the unicornblood kernel comment is invalid, as the 'unicornblood' kernel has no official requirements, and only is labeled as 'unicornblood' when the device maintainer decides it, and the kernel I have shipped this with shares almost the exact same feature set as the Nexus 6 unicornblood kernel. I'll relabel it unicornblood in the next build.
In other words, I strongly disagree with you on this comment. I use it as my daily driver.

I did not say the ROM is bad in any way expect not to use it as a daily driver. Tho
To be fair I was grumpy as hell last time , and I was hyped so much when you released it cause i've read that the unicornblood has voltage control and other good things in it, but mostly voltage control, since I want that sooo much, yet no one offers it. I didnt have much time last time so i did everything in a hurry. Now I see that the voltage control was for 5.1.1 ... i feel ashamed and im sorry.. Im impulsive sometimes...

Hrm. Please test and let me know. You see, my G3 is a prototype with no IMEI/CID, so, I can't test RIL/Data settings, only confirm that RIL/Data work (which they do).

I can completely relate, and get it. No harm, no foul .
If voltage control was possible in 5.1.1, I can definitely take a look at it.
I'll be more apt to look into it if you can link me a kernel for another msm8916 device that has voltage control. Or, even one from a different chipset altogether.

I faced out that it's just Chromium that makes the debugging screen because it's a development build.

Huh. Regardless, I'll make it Moto G3 in the next build, as that's how stock lists it apparently. Due to the prototype nature of my device, I never had stock firmware, and my 'stock' version lists it as 'Moto G 2015' in the build properties. Moto must have opted to change it later down the road in development.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Hey there,
Please update your TWRP from HERE
Flashed the required latest image, then wiped everything, installed ROM, Gapps, Magisk, all as stated, using the TWRP 3.2 and after 30 minutes of the booting logo, gave up.
What am I missing? Didn't wait long enough?

Are you flashing any custom kernels too?
Did you flash the latest Vendor image which is linked in the second post?
It barely takes 3mins for first boot and around 15s for boots after that
@Slothello: what's booting logo: Google-logo or bootanimation of ROM?

No, and yes. And to answer the next question, it's the ROM logo.

I'm lost as to why this would happen. First verify the MD5 of the ROM zip which should be this: 1a367635cbe105f07b241de1cdf9d704, if it isn't same redownload the ROM.
After you've verified that, go into TWRP, flash the vendor image which is linked in the 2nd post, then go into wipe>advanced wipe>select all except internal storage.
Once done, flash the ROM zip and then GZRGApps which is linked in the 2nd post and then it should boot.
I'm using the same build of the ROM right now and face no booting issues. Please try the above and let me knowm

So from crdroid a12 i have to wipe system, data, cache etc then flash FW and this rom? Do i need a specific recovery for it? Tried android 13 roms and had problems with twrp and didnt worked. Had to use a strange recovery to format data and make it work.
Hello.Anyone tried it?compare to cherry and sparkos?I currently use sparkos.ty all guys for making our phones better
Can anybody tell me if Google photos spoofing works, Photos app does say unlimited storage but also shows storage only 15gb out of which 11gb is full.
Should I backup original quality or will it not backup after storage of 15 gb is full?

I tried all Android13 ROMS for our phone. EvolutionX is my current ROM and it's the best.
p.s. Elixir is also good one. But EvolutionX has more options in settings
