[Q] Can somebody confirm the chipset of videocon a52

If you look at the specifications off videocon A52 it's quite similar to that of mmx a110.
A52 runs on android 4.2.
The device has been powered by dual core processors and 512 mb ram.but I was unable to verify the chipset of the device.
Moreover it's an Indian brand. So I strongly suspect it has a mediatek 6577 .
If it has the same chipset we could port android 4.2 from it.

bro it is very hard to port different resolution rom
we can only port the roms which have have resolution maybe you can try same resolution mobiles if know how to port or i can do for you if i succed in portin cynogenmod 11 kitkat in micromax a63
and i also have canvas fun but nobody cares for us until we do it ourself

Hey did u really port any custom rom to canvas fun??? can we port cynogenmode 11 kitkat for canvas fun? I want any new custom rom to canvas fun A74...

From what I can tell custom ROMs might or might not flash seeing that everything is ALMOST identical the problems may be the TS cause the Xolo A600 has a bigger screen and uses Color IPS screen, Where as the Xolo A500S uses Color TFT screen, both 16M colors. So with that said both use same chipset and OS and GPU so your chances are 50/50 try it out if not you can always flash back to the ORIG ROM but I suggest you make a complete backup of all your important data and even your ROM if you do not have one or cannot find the ROM from the provider. Also there may be someone who ported some ROMs for the A500S that work on A600 so you might want to do a search here and see.
I found this post for you here on XDA as I supplied for you has your ORIG ROM.
PS: I did notice that there is a A500S and A500S IPS you did not list your full phones specs.

Can you please port CM11 to Micromax A74. It has specs very similar to Galaxy SII.
Specs : -
1.3 GHz dual core MT6572 processor
Resolution - 480*854
LCD Density - 240 dpi
512 mb ram
Can you please port CM11.
I also tried to port but i ended up in a bootloop, so i am requesting you to port this rom !
