Verizon S6 Root Bounty - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

I have not seen a thread for this yet, so I figured I would get it started!! This will be my first attempt at a thread of this type...so please forgive me if I don't follow the standard operating procedures. I am starting us off with $30 for root and $40 for an unlocked bootloader & root.
please keep comments short and on topic. I will try to keep up with the totals for the following:
- Root: $30
- Unlocked bootloader + Root: $40
EDIT
well...it looks like there is already a list going Here.
Please hit the link and help out!!!

One-Click Root for Mac

I'm curious if someone could put together a one-click root for Mac users. I've been in the rooting game for a while now (had a Droid 2 before) so I know what I'm doing. I just want a one-click in order to save time and convenience.
I'm sure there are other Mac users out there also interested in this. If something for Mac has already been posted then I apologize, please direct me to the appropriate thread.
I could possibly give it a shot. I have to stop this kernel panic on my pc before I boot mac, but it shouldn't be that hard. I'm already rooted, so I'll need some testers, but I'll try a similar method as the one for windows and try to make it mac/linux compatible.
That'd be great! Unfortunately I have a feeling this thread might be deleted since apparently only Developers are allowed to create threads in this section (even if others' posts are on topic).
Keep in touch with me via PM, I'd love to know of your progress.
Please lock this thread mods. I'll start a thread when I finish an alpha for mac/linux. Thank you, and please no one else post so this can die off and not get unneeded attention/wasted space on the forum. Please save for the thread that will contain the root pack.

I'm beginning to think the manual method maybe more reliable from reading post on the easy root

[Q] MD5Sum for rooting files 4.1.1

I am trying to find out what the md5sums of the files for rooting my sg3 with android 4.1.1. I have used the search option and, while I found the official thread for the cwm recovery, the md5sum for what I dled from the guide and the sum posted are not matching. I have to assume this is due to two different uploads. I want to post this question under the thread itself, but unfortunately, my post count is not high enough to ask for the md5sums there.
I am not new to rooting, I just like to make sure everything is in order before I start the root process.
This is the thread I am referring to. Thank you in advance.

You need to root from this guide. The files have MD5 attached and Odin will check them for you. If the md5 from site not matching as usual you may have bad download but odin will not flash if it is bad.

That is the guide I am using. I thought I had added the link. I'm used to rooting and all that fun stuff on my old bolt and having to check all md5sums manually. Thank you for the help.

Unlock code samsung infuse - 2013

I started this thread hoping to help out newer Infuse users to find their unlock codes.
I noted that many new users are looking at the old threads and not reading thru to get to the easier method found later in the thread.
Here are some links.

Root is required.

There is no root guide in the ROM section, just Kali rom, twrp and forum rules/mods. Maybe a link would be helpful.
Update: I guess they are talking about it in the TWRP post, seems out of place considering the ROM section is not meant for discussion.

No root for T-Mobile version, locked bootloader too
Thanks, work fine for me.
Well that's depressing. I can't wait for root on my T-Mobile S7 Edge.

Yep, none of those threads have to do with "Root", but people are having discussions about root in the TWRP thread which is against forum rules because those are dev threads. But I guess the dev is either slacking or just letting it fly. Either way, thank you.

Seriously?
I will quickly answer this, as this discussion is against the rules as it is not about the topic of this thread. It is lacking of respect towards the OP who is doing job for the community.
There are various conversations about rooting.
1. The TWRP with root included if you read the OP. People are discussing issues or trying to find solutions for their phones.
2. There is a specific thread saying CF Auto Root ...talks about rooting your devices with Chainfire's fabulous work only. Well mostly people saying thank you, as it is rare that Chainfire's work goes wrong.
I think the Mods on this forum are tough and correct... so if something was against the rules, they would of taken action.
Now this is a thread about volume and Viper... so nothing to do with this discussion... So let's go back on topic.

okkkkkaaaaayyyy. the rom/recovery sections is meant for the developers to post updates on their progress or info about the rom/recovery/etc. This is why the mods continually tell people to not discuss in the rom section, and instead the dev should create a separate thread in the Q&A regarding any questions pertaining to the thread. Root is relevant to almost everything on XDA, so when someone says to go look in the rom section about root information, it's kind of vague to assume that information about "how to root" will be in the TWRP recovery section. My point was that simply telling a user to go to the rom section to find answers about rooting their phone is not ideal nor does it make sense, so let's all avoid confusing more and more people on this site.

No need to flash both mods at the same time as they are meant for the same purpose. Mod by ZuBi182 has more features and adjusted values.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Working but 10 second later turn normal mod
Why do you think's going on?
For example in youtube, 10 second viber4android active, later deactivate.

OP6 TWRP release - when?

Does anyone have an estimate as to when TWRP will be released for the 6? I didn't follow development in the past, so I'm not sure how long after the OP5 and OP5T twrp was released. Wondering because even if I pick up the phone at the pop-up, I won't start using it until I can root.
Thanks for any info.
I thought it was possible already, at least there are a few sites teaching how to do it. like this one: https://www.technobuzz.net/root-oneplus-6-and-install-twrp/
Edit: misleading title. actually the download link shows previous oneplus models, not 6. sorry
This shouldn't be in the dev section, but in questions and answers

well its only a handfull people ho have the op6 now
so wat about we wait until some dev get it an can stsrt dev on it
so maybe 1 week or 2 after it start selling
Just wait till last may we will get it
if it is like the op5, on the 22 or 23 we will have the twrp.
To be honest, it will be there on the official release date or the day after.
There have been tons of devices given away for reviews.
So that few extra devices to devs to support the op6 also have been given.
Just be patient, we are nearing the official release to us, the public.
+1 craving for the op6 twrp~
And infinite possibilities to come ~
Still no OnePlus 6 device tree avaliable on github.com/OnePlusOSS. We need it to port the TWRP in easy way.

Just after this post I asked a modarator to move the thread from the dev section to Q&A.
It's indeed rude and against the XDA rules to ask for that.
But I don't get it it why you quoted me?
Please elaborate on that.
