OEM HTC Hard Shell Cases for under $10

I was looking for the HTC metallic cases online, and found them on many sites for $19.95, which I didn't want to pay after seeing some posts on here saying the clips wore down. I found them on htcpedia.com for $8.99 for metallic, and $9.99 for the clear and black ones.

I've never purchased from them but you can use Paypal and there are customer reviews on the products so I gave it a shot. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested!

What do you mean by metallic? are they metal or metal apearance with a plastic build..

That's just what HTC calls them, I don't know. Look at the pics?

Does metallic mean they're like my case? Mine looks plastic but the inside of it is metal, something about the signal, I don't know for sure.

Hmmm, if someone does decide to order, would like to hear a review on the quality.

Also ime metallic refers to color and not material.

I have the clear case. Bought it at my local T-Mobile store for $9.99. It has a very snug fit but looks amazing as it lets the sexinesss of the G2 show. The case has the stand which allows the phone to sit up on its own in landscape or portrait. Be careful pulling case off the back of the phone. Very tight and if not careful will scratch phone.

I think you're mistaken - these HTC cases don't have kickstands. I think Body Glove or someone made that one.
Anyway, just a quick review - my case got here in 2 days with Fed Ex (NY to IL), I'd definitely buy from that website again. The case made the phone seem bulky at first but after the first day I was used to it, and it doesn't seem odd at all anymore. I like the finish a lot. I would recommend these cases, especially since they're made by HTC and that gives them the best fit possible.

Cool! It's close to my Spigen Neo Hybrid but it costs a third of. Now I'm looking for an economic thinner case. I've seen a lot of tpu cases but the only thing I really want is an edge that protect camera glass.:good::good:

Wife has the purple one on her S5. She loves it and the price was spot on :good: I'm a case whore so I think I'm going to try the gold mesh one for mine, currently using a Spigen.

just bought one of these myself. got the android green one with the iCarez 9H Tempered Glass screen protector. Hope it fits with the case, guess we'll find out!

Tablets have been utilizing the tech for awhile now, I think it'll be okay unless you have a floppy disk reader or platter-based hard disk in there!

just got the case today. fits really well. the only thing i dont like is the sides seem a little sharp. im sure that will wear down in time. also i recommend the iCarez 9H Tempered Glass screen protector for this phone.

I have the case, its nice and good protection also very well priced. But for me this case adds way too much bulk onto the phone, I've made the brave choice to be caseless

Beware of this kickstand case

Junk. LMAO. They designed the kickstand on this case in the wrong position.
No matter which kickstand slot you select, the dang phone just falls over.
Doesn't work in landscape OR portrait. So the kickstand is useless.
It's not a defective case, it's a bad design.

i-blason on amazon is the one that I have found everyone is cloning. I had a clone one that had kickstand on wrong side and was flimsy. Got the i-blason one and all is well. Sorry can't pull link here at work, but you can find on amazon. Looks similar but is great quality

There is a huge ring of false reviewers on amazon for phone accessories, health supplements, and other assorted bull****. Just look at any phone accessory, search for the reviews from people who "received" the product at a discounted price and look at their review history. I found one person who had reviewed 100 products for 6 different high end phones in two weeks using the same format on every single review. I discovered this after about 5 minutes of work so it's safe to say Amazon doesn't really care about it.

+1 on the i-blason. It works great and is a quality build.

The iblason only has landscape kickstand though. Too bad. I prefer portrait.

I am looking for a good steer. One that doesn't mind being killed, skinned, tanned and slapped in the most minimal way on the back of my Pixel Xl.

Shame right. I love leather covers with no front. Such a rare happening in phones these days.
Also got that Maxboost clear case and MEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH. Thick rear and I hate that. I don't want protection, just grip.

I'm surprised Google didn't come up with one to be honest. Even the iPhone had a nice leather case from Apple. It survived many concrete falls when getting out of my car.

Awe, thats a shame, @slickwraps naturals were fantastic on my Moto Nexus 6..

Yeah I'd love a minimal leather case, a la GS7E. I haven't really seen anybody who makes decent comparable cases.

I bought a similar pouch a while back for my nexus 6p from the same seller on etsy. She has all sorts of choices on etsy. On etsy there is an option to ask for a little more room to accommodate a bulkier case. Shipped from overseas very quickly.

Thanks. I ended up ordering one shortly after I posted this thread. I'm pretty happy with it. I really ****ing hate cases and screen protectors and all that stupid **** when I'm actually trying to use the device, so this is a good alternative to going completely naked.

I'm using a Shocksock https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pixel-XL-S...1481124207&sr=8-1&keywords=pixel+xl+shocksock. I specifically wanted one that would fit the XL while keeping the back cover. That way the screen is only exposed when I'm using it, but if I drop it the Spigen case (Rugged Armour) should still protect the phone. It was a tight fit at first but it's loosened off nicely and I'm delighted to have found it.

I've used these for several years. They seem to be a good quality pouch.
