it's nothing fantastic...... or is it....... it's got info about your phone and how the cust partition will be utilized. on mine it says vha/au
on others i'm not too sure.... maybe we can get people to post here and make a quick database of the custom.bin files...

Of course, here is a copy of mine. open it with a TXT editor or HEX editor and you'll see whats inside.
It's located in /DATA/
You'll need RootExplorer or something similar.
Just unzip it first.

If it's a self extracting file, use something like winrar, and extract the files as you would a rar archive.

Diamond ROM?
I'm having an issue trying to view the files in an RUU file - Can anyone provide me with some more detailed info on how to do this?
Not D&H.
Moved to Q&A.
Please post in correct sections.
Also when you run a RUU it creates a temporary folder with all the contents, i do not know the exact path but im sure a quick google search could find it.

Hello,
I have accidently deleted all the files from the PanelManager folder on my X1.
Now when i press the X Panel button, i get an error message saying the file doesnt exist.
Can anyone with an X1 please help me by uploading all the files inside PanelManager folder that resides in Program Files on the device?
Thanks
Hey,
I would like to help you.
Which folder you want me to upload? Where can I find it?
PanelManager folder
Hey,
Its the PanelManager folder. If you go into the file explorer, its under My device storage. Inside Program Files there is a folder called PanelManager. I need all the files that appear in this folder. If you could add them to a zip file and upload them, it would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Neil

Backup OEMinfo Tool [Root]
To backup OEMinfo you can use this simple tool: here
Steps:
Part I:
- Enable USB debugging and connect to PC, then authorize debugging.
- Unzip the zip file
- Run the .bat file
- Give root permissions on the mobile when the notice comes out (the program will create a simple zip inside the folder with the OEMinfo).
Part II:
- Once you have the file OEMinfo.img, download the attached Template.zip, unzip and insert the OEMinfo.img,
- Then compress the META-INF and OEMinfo.img files in zip format.
- Now you will be ready to flash through TWRP (obviously you must have the Update.APP corresponding to the OEMinfo to install with the three button method).
