Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It sounds like more of a domestic issue than anything XDA can assist with. I would suggest you get a hold of Google and get the accounts transferred back to you. Then use a secure password that only you know and use 2-step verification.

[APPS] Google Music

Can someone please post the new Google music app.

Probably need to be going through a US IP address though too
Just use market access and you'll be able to download it. I'm in Malaysia and it worked for me
Another way is that enable airplane mode then use a U.S. VPN via wifi connection.
Now you have access to full market.
And sometimes you need to clear data of market app.
No root requirement.

Are you signed in using the same account you used to purchase? If you have multiple accounts on the phone then you can change accounts from in the play app by pressing menu, then accounts.

Try to visit the site with your computer and see if the app is bought or not.

I've asked the mods to move that to general as it's not phone specific. I've also added a method of doing it from the address bar, so you don't have to either use Chrome or figure out how to do the same in your browser of choice.

[Q] Using Google Maps without Google Account. (Android) Possible?

Hello,
I really like this forum, i read it a lot. I wanted to register a long time ago, but now i "have" to, because i have a question.
For several reasons i do not want a Google Account on my (Future) Samsung Galaxy Note 2. (Like the big screen)
1. I don't really use apps and the apps i use can be downloaded from their websites.
2. Privacy, Google has the worst privacy (policy) i've ever encountered. (-A company who illegally collect user data from Wi-Fi networks using Google streetview cars can't be trusted ihmo. They also collect anonymous user data, but it still has a unique indentifier... etc etc.)
The question:
I read that some people couln't use Google Maps (With gps) when having no Google Account on their phone. (Jelly Bean and up. 4.1+)
So the question is, is this true? And if it is true, Could i use the mobile website version of Google Maps to navigate? (With GPS?)
I couldn't really find a clear answer, and i searched quite a lot.
Thanks,
Best regards,
John
If you're going to get the phone no matter what, might as well just try it and see.
Personally, I see Google as a business, not a charity - so I don't mind letting them collect data when I use their services - it's basically how I am paying them and lowing them to generate revenue to continue to operate and provide the services they do.
If you wish to avoid their services, why not look for a map/navigation app/service/device that has nothing to do with Google?

Yes i thought about that, but i read from a individual that he couln't use gps on Google-Maps and a 3rd-party-map-app while having an Android without a google account. This was on Android 4.1.2. He was using CM. I heard others with succes, but these were older versions of Android.
But maybe it works in the Android browser> Google Maps Mobile. Thats also my question.

When you lost you phone , how to find it back even you do not install Find My Phone ?

When you lost a phone , how to find it back even you do not install Find My Phone ?
When you lost a phone , If you have installed Find My Phone application and activate it, it will be OK to locate, lock or even wipe your phone.
Actually you can still install Find My Phone even your phone is lost or stollen, and you do not need to setup anything.
Here is 2 steps -
1) Go to Play Store Website and Install Find My Phone —
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phonefindandlock
2) Text message where is my phone to your phone from your friend's or family member's phone, and your phone will alarm and return the location when it receives the message.
Note:
1) Text the message after installation. The installation will take around 30-60 seconds.
2) Try to do these as soon as possible when you can not find your phone.
3) Good luck
Didn't Google implement a device search and remote wipe option a while ago?

How To Track Your Lost Android Phone Without Installed Tracking App, this is the most simple steps to do it.
Thanks for this usefull app.i will share it with my friends, workmate & family members.
contact with police
the best way is contact with the police and provide your imei number
http://www.google.com/device
100+ thousands downloads
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phonefindandlock
This app will make ppl feel very secure about their phones It is a must have app for everyone
Is it stealth?
OK, so I got four phones stolen from our store and, although I have the Life360 app, there's a huge radius of the location.
So I've been looking for ways to get into the phones and see if the person has taken pictures so I can identify who stolen the phones to the police.
Two questions: if I install this remotely, will it show on the phone or can it be installed without notifications? And once it is installed, can I remotely retrieve files from the phone?
ThankS!

[Q] Saw a VPN server app on here/Play Store but can't find it?

In the past I've used an app that allowed me to set up a local VPN server on my Android phone and route all traffic through there. This app also allowed plugging in a blocklist (for ads). Because it was a VPN it worked without root and even allowed for blocking of app ads. However: I seem to have forgotten the name of this app! Is there a chance of one of the fine XDA members knowing the name of this app? I first read about it here, then downloaded it on the Play Store.
Here's to hoping you can help me,
Cheers,

I would not even want to guess how many VPN apps are posted on XDA.
Shouldn't need root for any VPN apps.
Try searching Android Apps and Games
or in chrome use: vpn site:forum.xda-developers.com
This thread will be moved to general/help
may be it removes for any violens of rule.
