I can call people and receive calls on my phone but no one can hear me and I can't hear anyone. I don't even hear a tone when it's dialing sometimes. I'll call someone and they'll answer and it will just be silent and vice versa on both ends of the call, I'll receive a call and it will be totally silent. I have already gone thru all the troubleshooting steps I can think of even going as far as to have my carrier send me another model of the same phone and getting a new sim card they have made many tickets on this issue and have deemed its not network related. I have a big problem with MIUI rom. If someone try to call me, phone does nothing, no incoming call.
Trying to search on every forum which i know, but without result.

3. Did you even read what is working or not working in this ROM? I'll tell you. No calls possible.

I know this is a problem for you, but you are not justified in posting this thread here in the Development forum.
Ask your question in the Q&A section, and if someone wants to answer it, they will.
You can't force your questions in places they don't belong. Plus when you do this, it shows a blatant disrespect for the forum and it's community, which further reduces the chances of anyone actually coming forward and bothering to answer your question.
Learn to respect the forum, you only reap what you sow...

i have nexus s and i am on tmobile network.
i got annoyed from people who put me on 3 way call without me knowing.
i remember when i had N70 it was showing me that i am on conference call but ther is no option like that on my android.
i called tmobile customer service to c if there is anyway to know that,, but unfortunately they dont know,,, i tried to google it to find if the is way or an app can show me that but i was not lucky..
if anyone have an answer for me it would be great

Today i installed this rom but cant call to anybody & incoming also. While call coming shows unfortunately phone has stopped. why So?

Hello. I received a call from a private number, but I could not answer it because there was something on the screen telling me to block the number. No matter what I tried, I could not do anything until I blocked the call. So, in essence, my phone forced me to block the private number, something which has never happened before.
If anyone could assist me in this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
By the way, when this happened, the call woke me up, so I was groggy and did not recognise the app that did this.

I'm having a problem with my galaxy A8 international variant code SM-A800F
The problem is primarily in the headphone jack and it's primarily an audio statics, I hear some hissing and audio statics from time to time, what makes it wired is that it's only showing up in headphones with built-in mic, I tried an old apple headphones without a mic and there was no problem, the problem appear in low tones when I hit sometime the touch screen and the touch screen gives the sound I hear some statics, when I play a song that is low in tone I hear the statics as well, what makes it also weird is that the statics and the hissing sound is reduced when I rise up the volume above the level that the phone advice me not to pass it, if I open adaptive sound feature and open personalize and listen to the right side I will hear the statics in the left side and vis-versa so what's the problem?
Is it hardware or software ? The majority of the phone dealers and equipments owners who fix phones told me it's a software problem
I love the phone but this is a deal breaker to me
But what do you see is it a software or hardware problem ?
If it was a software, which one should I install that could fix it, I can't root or update the OS through Odin, as no software is available for the SM-A800F international version of the Galaxy A8
