Hi guys,
I have a problem with some roms and don't have a clue what's the cause. Maybe someone on here is able to help.
So I went from PA 5.0 alpha to the latest stable Cataclysm release (5.0.x -> 5.1). Factory Wipe and everything. Everything was running fine except that no mobile data was available. Only data, I could call and send SMS as usual.
I thought it may be a bad flash and did everything again, but that didn't solve the problem. So I tried switching to another rom and had the same issue with Euphoria and Chroma.. My data connection only worked with OmniRom (which I didn't like for some other reasons, so now I'm back to PA and Android 5.0....).
Does anyone have an idea what's causing this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Hello and good morning, on my Sensation is the Problem with incoming calls.
Rom cm-10.1-20130331-Albinoman887-pyramid
Radio 11.76C.3504.00P_11.29A.3504.18_M
Ril HTC-RIL_4.0.0037HMQ
When an incoming call fails to answer it. Terminates the call. I found a solution to the problem by turning off the phone lock. Who then encountered a similar problem?

Please tell me what radio (baseband), firmware and Ril you are using?
I got same trouble when I've installed ROM without Wipe, or partly wipe. It was because of my carelessness)) Try to reinstall your ROM.
Hy! I have a problem doing the above, even after reinstall! I did not return data! Please help!
I have exactly the same problem which is really annoying. I thought its because of dirty flash, but did full wipe and it didnt help. Few days ago ive installed vipers 3.1.0 but cant use sense firmware anymore so flashed albinoman's 4.2.2 again. And still have this issue
I really love this ROM! What makes us different from those whom we do not occur, the problem? Unfortunately my English is not so good to Albinoman-t ask! Help someone!
Hello friends,
Having same problem here. When I accept a call, it rejects and notifies as missed call. The calling person gets either busy tone or phone is switch off!
Using Albinoman's 4.2.2 ROM since long and the issue persists since few versions I tried. Even disabled sweep 2 wake. Issue seems random, doesn't happen on all incoming calls. Is it the radio version issue or the network providers? Though issue is getting very annoyed.
Baseband version: 11.76C.3504.00P_11.29A.3504.18_M
Thanks...
Best Regards

Yes, random ....
Hello!
Since I could not find a solution, I installed a simple "CyanogenMod ROM" and it works perfectly!
Try it you too!
Best regards!

I'm was using latest albinoman887 cm10.1 rom last week and didn't faced the issue. Today I have updated to CM10.2 by android1234567, will see how it goes.
Thanks...
Best Regards
Rom: MIUIv5 3.5.10
On version 3.5.3 (previous version), this issue never came up, but as soon as I flashed this week's version, constant com.android.phone crashes every 2-3 seconds. Wiping cache, different kernel, etc doesn't make any difference. I flashed the 3.5.3 ROM again ad the problem resolved. Any ideas what the issue is? Thanks.

Are you wiping data & system? If anything, this should probably go into the rom's thread.
I had same problem. Do factory reset system/data and it solve problem. probably some settings from 3.5.3 are not compatible with 3.5.10.

I would, but there is 10 post minimum requirement before posting in the Development forum.

Ah I see, bummer. I thought we would be able to upgrade weekly unless it was a major change. This week's changes didn't seem too big. How did you restore your phone's state in regards to Apps/SMS/etc? Titanium Backup?
For now, I have reverted back to 3.5.3 version, since none of the people that ported has any reply/answer for the cause of the error. If I find out why, and if possible to fix it, I will post here again. Thanks for everyone's input!
Can anyone help me figure this out? I successfully flashed CM11: cm-11-20131214-NIGHTLY-d2vzw.zip
Problem is that i can't get SMS to work at all. Native messenger just force closes. Hangouts forcecloses, Handscent, same, GoSMS pro same...
Any fixes?
Did you clean flash (wipe all partitions)?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
I have the same problem on my SGS2 i9100, I've done clean flash, still isn't working.
As for the OP question, gapps version did you flash? I've found the "mini modular package" works the best and causes the least FCs.
I've heard/seen nothing but problems with those CM11 nightlies. You guys might want to consider one of the AOSP roms til CM gets their s**t together. I'm on Gummy and have zero issues.
CM11 Sending SMS Problem solved!
I was also have the same problem, not able to send SMS after replacing the stock rom with cm11. After lot of googling also I was not able to correct the problem. Attempt Changing SMSC from 00 also failed. Then I found the root cause, that is while flashing cm11 I wiped everything including internal memory that only created the problem. Hence again I flashed stock rom and changed the SMS message center number and again I flashed CM11 this time without wiping internal memory. Now SMS is working!!!
I've been using CM11 for months (Kitkat 4.4.4) and recently switched to Paranoid Android 4.5+ and neither work with the iPlayer app. If I switch back to a 4.4.2 based build of either then it works fine.
PA 4.6 was a clean install but the problem remains. When I try to watch a video it attempts to start but the screen goes green and it hard resets.
Anyone else getting this?

I've completely wiped the phone several times, cache/dalvik cache/system/user data, everything. It only happens if I use a ROM from about July onwards. I've tried about 15 different ROMs and they all follow the same pattern. I'm guessing it's because a lot of them use CM sources and they're all inheriting the same codebase. The most recent custom ROM I can use that still allows iPlayer to function is Slimkat 4.4.4 build 6 (5266) which is from 30th June.

it works on 4.4.4.but not on 4.5 so maybe the application doesn't support your current rom?
Hello, Today i Updated my opo to the latest cm 13. Everything Works Great, except WhatsApp with Mobile Data. Its working Great with WiFi but its Not connecting while using cellular Internet. Somebody had the Same issue? My APN is configured correctly. And stuff like Chrome and Snapchat is working finde too.
€: noticed, that i get Snapchat notifications only with WiFi
I have the same issue with my OPO since the last COS13.1 update.
But I am not really sure if it is the COS13.1 update, because in parallel I have updated WhatsApp.
Now I have the following versions:
COS 13.1.2-ZNH2KKAS3PO
WhatsApp 2.16.259
Fixed it, had to do a wipe and reinstall cm12.1. Than i updated OTA and now its working fine on 13.1.
A wipe is the hard way. I hope there will be a less painfull solution.
Just a wipe on cm13 didnt work for me either, tried flashing and wiping with TWRP and fastboot, both didnt change anything. I really had to go back to cm12 to get Whatsapp working with mobile data. Curiously everything is working great on CM13 too since i did the OTA updates.
So you are using CM13 and not COS13?
My OnePlus One is on Stock software (COS) since the first day.
I have only updated via OTA and I have never installed/used TWRP
or similar software on my phone.
Fixed it! Found a hint in the OnePlus One forum.
I have deleted all APN and kept only the one which is correct for
the network I am using (web.vodafon.de)
Now it works perfectly.
Thanks a lot. I also did the same and it worked for me. I deleted all other APNs except web.vodafone.de and it worked for me too..
Deleting all the other APNs also did the trick for me.
Thanks a lot!
