Iv'e ben having a problem with my Lg optimus G pro e980. I have made a repair on my cracked front screen and now my phone screen goes dark during calls. I found out the problem from installing the broking screen back into the phone and placed a call. The problem is that the purple tinting for the proximity sensor is much to dark for light to go threw on an after market screen. Flashing a bright l.e.d light threw the new screens dark purple area allows screen to kick back on. iv'e read multiple forums on people trying to deactivate sensors after screen fixes and this may be there problem.
has any one solved this problem with out having to search for a close to oem spec screen?
if so? is there any alterations that can be made to screen to let more light threw? please help!!

Hi folks,
it's a lot of time since I was writing something to You, but now I have a big problem and I really hope, that You will be able to help me.
Unfortunately, I am a person with damaged eyes (accidents ) and I need a smartphone with good screen.
Now I have Galaxy Note 3 Neo and I have big problems with this device:
- I can see flickering (when I set 50% or less of brightness level),
- my eyes get pretty fast to pinch
- because of it I can't read anything for more than just few minutes
I believe, that my problems are connected with PWM.
So now I am searching for a new device. I want to buy Galaxy Note 4, but I read on xda, that this model have the same problem with PWM. So maybe Xperia Z3 will be better in this factor?
Can you see flickering on Note 4? If yes, could you tell me from what level of brightness it's invisible?
Thanks a lot for advices!
Best regards!

Zoom that photo and you will see some different pixels some lighter some darker.
So please install a LCD TEST app from market and with green background make a photo with another device and post it here or feel free to say your opinion.
Please fast :d
I think that's normal..
@Magician* Can you make a picture like me but with your flex please?
Hi guys, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge plus, I recently received an ota update, Android I think? Anyway I noticed a strange and awful looking tint on my lock screen, it's a greenish 1cm length by the whole width, there is also a grayish tint on the bottom? Is this a android bug? I can't get rid of it now matter what I try? How do I post a picture on here to show you what I mean? Thank you....Darren

Hi,
I have just received this device today and have noticed an issue, is the following normal where when swiping up and down in Settings there is a blur from the menus. Whilst moving down the blur is at the bottom of each menu boxed off, while swiping up this is at the top of each menu box.
I have it too. I think it's a bug.
Does anyone know how to remove the grey and only use dark in (quick) settings?
I am facing the same issue too. Tell me if someone got a solution!
I think its an amoled Thing...
Came from Poco F2 Pro, in low brightness it hast the Same blur issue...
Its a amoled thing.
Happned with my samsung galaxy a50 and now with the OP8T.
This happens to every amoled out of the box or is this gradual over time? As this happened me out of the box, just wondering if it is worth returning the phone for this?
Happened on both my S10+ and Lg V60 with dark mode. They also both switched between dark gray and black depending on brightness. Im pretty sure its an android thing.

Is this something that affects the working of the phone? Do you read the text as the sentences are moving up or down? I am amazed at what people complain about!
