GT-S6312 restarts with SIM cards - Samsung Galaxy Young S6310

Hi.
I have several Phones, early they doesn't react to any action.
i resurrected phones with RIFF BOX, after that they are boot only to Samsung Logo.
i flashed phones with Odin, and restore IMEIs with Z3X Box. Now they all working, but only without SIM cards.
when i insert SIM card into left slot - always restarts.
when i insert SIM card into right slot - booted but phone tells me that there is no SIM card inside...
i can't boot to flash mode with SIMs - restarts as well.
i have read some topics in your forum with same problems. Found only one solution with replacement of battery. But i didn't help me.
i took 100 % working phone, which wasn't flashed, insert two SIMs and battery - it works. But same SIMs and battery doesn't work.
What i can to do?
Thanks!

i read that some Phones are locked for some SIMs. It is dependent from regional firmware. in non-working phone there is:
CSC country code: Korea
CSC sales code: KOR
Click to collapse
in working phone there is:
CSC country code: Germany
CSC sales code: DBT
Click to collapse
i have tried reflash with others firmware, which marked as DBT - but phone always has KOR. Only in one time it becomes RUS, but still doesn't work.
Where i can find real DBT CSC file?
i found another phone with CSC DBT - doesn't work ((

No SIM card | Emergency calls only

Hi everyone,
I have bought a new Galaxy s6 from France (SFR but Sim-free), I tooked it home to Israel and put my sim card and all worked fine but in the version He havent Hebrew in language so I flashed the stock ROM official of Israel from sammobile.com and all worked excellent.
I was one day with the phone and bad surprise... after some hours, without I do something the phone give me a message "No SIM card | Emergency calls only". if I try to call it give me a message "No registred at network". I try to put another sim, i try to flash it back to stock rom of sfr, i try all wiping option and nothing.
What is the most strange is if pull out the sim tray (with a sim card) it give me a message "SIM card removed. Unable to detect you SIM card. Your device will restart tocheck for your SIM card".and if I pull it in it message me "SIM card added. Restart device to access mobile networks." so I believe the sim tray is ok...
Anyone can help me please?
This looks like you have not activated the region lock. When you buy any S6 or S6 edge it comes region locked. To unlock it you have to make a 5 min phone call using a sim from the region you bought it in. Once the call is made the region lock is removed. It does state this on a sticker on the side of the box of the phone.
But the phone worked perfrect at the start... it's normal?
I cant answer that issue sorry but all samsung phones now carry a region lock and have to be used in their region of purchase first.
i tried anything but the phone dont give any option to put code of unlock anywhere
Hey may be i can help...
Try this...
Step 1. At first you will need to get a foreign SIM card.
Step 2. Now turn off your device and Insert the SIM card.
Step 3. Turn on your device.
Step 4. Tap on the Dial pad and type here the code “ *#197328640#”.
Step 5. Now select these options step by step- “ [1] UMTS >> [1] Debug Screen >>
[8] Phone Control >> [6] Network Lock >> Options [3] Perso SHA256 OFF ”.
Step 6. Go back to your device home screen.
Step 7. Here you should see a “Network Lock” message, now you choose “[4] NW Lock
NV Data INITIALIZE“.
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
You can also bring your unit to local Israeli Samsung store for warranty repair.
The region lock does not require a code to be entered nor can a code be entered. Its automatic. When new you need to make a 5 min phone call with a sim card from the region you bought the phone then it unlocks automatically. For example I bought mine in the UK but am using it while working in saudi. Before leaving the UK I made a 5 minute call with my uk EE sim card. Phone now happily accepts my saudi sim card.
The same problem happened to me, I am Iran
I could not yet solved
One solution to this problem does not have a friend?
is happen to me too, i make the 5 minutes call in the UE. When i came back to argentina the phone read my countrry sim card at first. work well for a month and then happen the same thing. Any possible solution to this problem??
hi so i have same problem i try to change cert file but stay same problem
Same problem with my G920F! Used in the UK fine and then brought to the US with me where it worked fine for 2 weeks and suddenly doing this!

Try to unlock button
Or write different CERT
It depends on your use of the BOX

I have the same issue as above. The only difference is I still use the phone in Uk (O2 unlocked phone with Ee sim). After flashing another rom then returning to stock (but unbranded stock firmware, not the original O2 one) i lost capacity of giving / receiving calls / texts, some weeks later. Since then i tried flashing several stock roms (O2, Ee and unbranded) but i haclve the same issue. I wiped, advanced wiped with twrp reinstalled roms but same issue. I would appreciate a lot any advice.

Several fw, reinitialize through Smart Switch also did not help.

Anyway to change/pick csc

I have a VOD Uk device I flashed to BTU so it was unbranded. With the MM coming out I plugged into smartswitch to change back. All went fine however it selects SIM csc and not VOD as it is a multi csc. Now I can't use wifi calling with this csc. In tried multiple flashes and wiping cache and resets. I've even gone to the XEF rom and back and still get SIM csc when i flash it.
Is there any way of selecting the correct csc or editing the firmware without tripping Knox to just install the VOD csc.
Many thanks for your help.
I would also like to know if this can be done.:good:

I'm hoping there is a bug in smartswitch in relation to the Voda firmware as other country's like Voda Germany are restoring and getting SIM csc as well not the one specified in the restor
Smartswitch won't let me restore either, it give an error saying sm-g920f not compatible :crying:.
any of you folks got anywhere with this issue? I'm still stuck on SIM

[HOW TO] Change you CSC with sim card

I found this way just yesterday, maybe most of us already know it, but I decided to share it. I wanted to change my CSC so I can join in the beta.
It's very easy, basically, you need a sim card from the country that will be the beta. I had UK sim card and now my CSC changed to XEU.
So I did it a little bit different but still worked for me. Today is the UK beta so I hope I will be able to join. I also updated Samsung Members to the last version from sammobile.
1. Remove your sim card
2. Turn off the phone
3. Put the new sim card
4. Go to recovery, format your phone
5. Reboot
Once when phone boot it will ask you do to factory reset to set up the new sim card. Allow it. When it boots next time your CSC will be changed.
is this method useful on china mainland version(G9650),does anyone try it ?thank you .

NO, this is only for the SM-G960F and/or SM-G965F model!
Take note that it will try to change csc only if its within the multi csc of that device. If its not, then it wont...just like mine with korean variant which does not have xtc csc.

(HELP)SM-N986U1 change CSC to TMB - Enable ESIm

Hey Everyone,
I have unlocked SM-N986U1 with the latest update installed (Updated with latest June update). I wanted to change my CSC to TMB (T-Mobile) so as to enable ESeim support. I tried using Samkey, wasted 1 credit too. It said CSC updated but nothing happened, my carrier still shows XAA.
Can anyone please guide me on how can I change CSC to TMB?
Thanks.

These links'could help. I think you have to flash the TMB Rom which enables and support the eSim on the phone. It would help to have a Tmobile Sim around during this process but I have heard others say it is not needed.

Yes you can. My device is from Xfinity and I have done the switch to any Carrier I choose on bootloader 2. U1 to U and back is doable. The key is to use the modified Odin as specified in the guide.
"
2. Download Patched Odin here
3. Unpack/Unzip what you downloaded in Step 2 (Odin Compatible ROm) and put in a folder. Lets call the folder "Flash"
4. Run Odin, click on BL, Browse to the "Flash" folder, add BL file from there, Do the same for AP (click on AP, Add AP file, this will take some time), Same for CP (click on CP, Add CP file)
5. Do the same for CSC (click on CSC, Add the file with the name starting with Home_CSC). If you use Home_CSC your phone will not get formatted and data will remain Intact
USERDATA Stays empty.
6. Now connect USB cable to your laptop (Only laptop and not the phone)>> Turn off your phone >> Press volume up and volume down keep them pressed and plug in the USB type C into your phone.
7. You should be in download mode now, press volume up. In Odin you will see that phone is added.
8. Press start in Odin. Wait for it to finish and let the phone restart (it will happen On its own).
9. Done

Thanks for the steps. Couple of Quick Questions:
1) I used frija to download the firmware (I typed CSC: TMB in frija, as its the first time I am using it, is it the right way)
2) I also checked the version in frija with the CSC: XAA, the version is same. How can I make sure that I have downloaded the correct TMB firmware.
Thanks.

You might want to extract the files and check for differences. The Frija tool has been kind of good to me.

So the Model is 986U/DS ? And is eSim enabled ?. That is the state you would want to be in. I understand the last XXX in the service provider software can't be changed. Mine didn't change and stayed CCT which is for xfinity but the as you can see, I have TMB/TMB, TMB/CCT. Esim is enabled and my Mint mobile (Tmobile) number is on it and I have a foreign physical Sim which is roaming on AT&T on the physical slot.
You might be close.

Also picked this nugget up from another thread
"You have to flash full tmb firmware. Not xaa tmb but 986u tmb firmware. The esim is in the user data section you'll flash"
Others have suggested you have to do a factory reset or flash the actual CSC file not the Home CSC which means you will loose DATA. I was doing this on a phone I had not setup yet so didn't mind loosing DATA. I am also assuming you have a TMB sim card in the phone because I understand that is needed so the phone can connect to Tmobile and download the carrier data files that actually changes the CSC after a clean flash.
These are just some of the things I picked up from here when doing my conversion.

Yup I used the TMB version only. The model Number changed to 986U/DS. In About phone, it shows me the IMEI of the Esim, but its greyed out.
The only thing I dont have is the T-Mobile Sim. I think thats whats causing the issue. I will arrange a t-Mobile sim and try it tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help.

Thanks. Let me try those.
Since the OP looks like problem solved, and not wanting to waste new thread, i have similar issues, can you help?
I have an S10e I recently broke (amazon renewed w/U1 FW), so I got another S10e from amazon, renewed which appears to also be U1 FW.
Except the latest, the replacement phone, the one I have now, NOONE can hear me, like all the time!!!!!!! Dead spots everywhere! Its so annoying. Its like i have a bad Mic? Or something...
This didn't happen with my identical phone, the one I had prior to this one, using identical sim.
I'm on Mint mobile, which is a TMO MVNO and currently have XAA/XAG FW running on the new S10e, the new one w/bad Mic or FW problem
It appears I am on U1 Unlocked USA firmware on latest phone ( i may have flashed FW Odin when I got this new one-to be safe- i forgot)
ALSO: BOTH renewed S10e's I've Purchased from Amazon, when lookup the IMEI, it shows as the AT&T Model. Which i understand the U/U1 FW can be swapped, BUT, both phones were advertised as U1 Models for the Hardware, so they sold me U models but they flashed with U1 FW probably to make more money. (this may seem trivial, but Samsung specifically has stated TWICE, that I couldn't Beta Test their last to major android FW's, because my phone shows as At&t on their end, and not the truly unlocked U1 model, for which the beta tests were for. And i was told when i purchased it was fully unlocked U1 ver. The phone itself even says its 970u1 in settings etc.)
Are there ANY hardware (including frequency bands) differences between U and U1 Models???
Is it somehow possible that my CSC, or FW on my phone is affecting my phone so badly that people cant hear me like 88% of all calls? Like should i flash different FW, or reflash or use different CSC??
Is it possible that if I went with a locked TMO FW (or another) that I could possibly, maybe get better reception so folks can hear me better? Or hear me more often or more frequently?
How often do mics go bad or get dirty on these? Can a mic be cleaned?
I have been in the other Note 20 flashing thread but I am stuck. Tried so many ways but can't get the TMB csc to stick, always shows only XAA. I have TMO sim card too. Not sure if they blocked it on the newer releases of the phone
Has anyone tried Samkey to do this? Heard it only takes 1 credit but smallest amount of credits to purchase on ebay is 10 and I dont feel like investing more money into this effort

csc change help

Hello,
I've already searched this but I'm seeing different answers.
I have a Verizon Note 20 5g and the csc is at vzw/vzw/vzw. I would like to change the csc over to att/att/att. I have already downloaded Patched Odin, the new duf2 firmware. I have always kept my sim card inside the phone during flashing and its always changed the csc over during that process. This time though(this phone) when i flashed the firmware onto the phone it kept the vzw/vzw/vzw csc. Do i need to take out the sim card during the flash then reinsert once the firmware has been flashed on the phone and it restarts? Im on bootloader 2 and using the correct firmware. im just trying to get Volte back..lol.
thanks in advance

It will never be att/att/att, if the phone was originally vzw/vzw/vzw. If you have an active AT&T sim card, you will get att/att/vzw. Flashing odin does not change the csc on this device - the active SIM card dictates the csc. You didn't indicate if you were flashing U or U1, but you have to flash the U software to get carrier services, including VoLTE.

Oh gotcha, ok. Yea I have Att sim card but it still shows VZW/VZW/VZW even with the Att sim card inserted. I flashed the U1 firmware, thank you for clarifying this on the difference for the volte thing.
Did the APN change when you put in the AT&T sim card? If you change from U to U1 or vice versa, i believe you have to do a factory reset [sim card out until after inital setup]. The guide in this post worked for me: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...shing-and-n986u-to-n986u1-vice-versa.4182825/. But i moved from TMO to ATT with no issue.

Thank you very much, I didn't know the initial setup thing. Once I did that it's now showing Att/Att/Vzw. I have volte, wifi calling and hd calling again.
Thank you so much.
