[Completed] SU installed but no root access! - XDA Assist

I have attempted to root my Cherry Mobile Cosmos One. However, the kinguser app was installed as system app, but it has no root access. The device is on kitkat 4.4.2.
How can I properly root this device? I have tried other rooting tools but they failed to root.
But somehow I can manage to access its stock recovery.
Root validator says ROOT DENIED, and root checker says ROOT ACCESS IS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED. However, CPU Z says it has root access.

Root was succesful, superuser is installed, but I don't have Root access.

I rooted my Motorola Charm with superoneclick 1.7, or atleast I thought I did. superoneclick 1.7 did say the rooting was succesful and I have superuser installed.
But when using Link2SD it says I didn't have root access. So I checked with Root Checker and apparantly Link2SD is correct. This is what Root Checker has to say:
Root Access is not properly configured or was not granted.
Alternate su binary location:
/sbin/suermission denied
SU binary not found in the system delcared PATH
Does anyone know what could be the issue? And if not, then would anyone know what is the safest way to proceed from here? I already have superuser and superoneclick says it is Rooted, I'm not sure what would happen if I were to root it again.
I had the same problem with my Milestone, rooted it using AndRoot. I used Superuser to update the su binaries, but still nothing. Then a simple reboot fixed it
My Milestone2 rooted successfully by SuperOneClick 1.3 ,
you can use the 1.3 version to root

[Question] Root Help

Hello Everyone, few days ago I rooted my device, Then I decided to check if it is rooted or not. So I downloaded root checker and It Says, "Sorry Root access isn't installed properly in this device". While I am able to use other rooted apps like nobloat, adblock, etc.. but having problems in installing Xposed firmwork and renaming etc/install-recovery.sh into etc/install-recovery.sh.bak..
What should I do? And is my device rooted or not?

Do you have an app to control root access e.g. SuperUser. If not download superuser and use it to control permissions as it may be that you have root but applications can't gain access as theres nothing to grant them access.
If that doesn't work just root again.
Thanks, I already have superuser.. and root explorer solved the renaming problem.. but Still having issue while installing xposed

Root help

King root or kingo root??
What is the difference...?
Does it have SU inbuilt?
Kingo root is an app that root your phone via Network
it doesnt have su inbuilt
It comes on Android and computer both platform
Most reliable and safe rooter!
It works via internet so it finds the right exploit for your device and roots it
So it also 99%works on every device
Other king root is an offline app doesnt support all device and it has su inbuilt
Give a thanks if i helped u

How to Root DNA Zero ROM?

[Help Needed] I have flashed DNA zero ROM on my galaxy j2-6 (J210F)
after installation and rebooting into rom, I checked Developer options for root access,There was no such options like root access.
Then I tried Installing SuperSU and Magisk one by one...both installed perfectly...but when I'm trying to give any app root access, then no popup appears asking to grant root access.
I checked through Root checker and it says root access is not properly installed. What to do? PLZ HELP?
