Finally! Thank u Luk and Luca and other devs!

Working perfectly. Very happy with this ROM.
Have the performance (overclock/underclock) settings gone from CM in general?

Great!
I almost told my daughter not to buy this device because of lack of development...
Now I see this! She didn't buy it yet, but now I will advice it!!
I'll be following the thread!

I've been running rooted stock 5.0.2 with lots of apps removed and I liked it after many years of CM on the Nexus 4 and other devices. With the lack of official 5.1 (now 5.1.1) and the release of this ROM I updated and realised how much I actually missed CM. Really nice ROM.

So just a few questions. Is this build unofficial because of the testing phase, or will it remain so? Does that mean development will shift from CM13 to CM14? And lastly, can we expect nightly updates in the future?
You have my sincere thanks for keeping this device alive and wish you all the best in the future .

It will remain so until we can have working camcorder and nightlies.
>Does that mean development will shift from CM13 to CM14?
There wasn't much CM13 development going on since few months lol.
>And lastly, can we expect nightly updates in the future?
If we can get camcorder to work properly.
Overall UI experience is very good. It seems smoother at scrolling and touch compared to 6.x.x (even the official firmware). Good luck fixing the camcorder.
It's only with me or the ui seems very laggy? I'll try to reinstall the rom without the Gapps aroma version.
By the way, thx for keeping this device alive! i'm here if you need a tester!
Cheers!
-------------------Edit-----------------
on the third reboot, the rom seems working very nice!
i'll report more soon.

I'm on this build and I think that it is awesome (for the first build). Thanks a lot.
Little lag when you keep your phone booted forma 15-16 hours.

Guys, I flashed the build 2 and the Phone feels amazing.
We have some bugs, but nothing that can pull this ROM from the altar of the good Roms Ever made for this xt1078
I made a screencast with some bugs on the menu "Buttons". When i click on the "Power Menu" option, nothing happens.
Beyond this, I can't found the avanced reboot option
Anyway, congratulations Boys! You made my weekend f*****g better!
Cheers!

I think that "advanced reboot" is in "developer optional" only in non-stock android. This ROM is like nexus official Noufat (apart bug)...i think that when all cm-things will be added, you will find "advanced reboot".
The sim data seems unstable. On a area that LTE conection was stable, now keep shifting Between 3g and 4g (not 3g+).
About the Power menu, in buttons menu we've got an option to choose the Power menu buttons.
The ROM seems Very smooth on my Phone. I love you guys!
Cheers!

For me too, cant enable it. Changed trough settings - 3G, 2G, roaming data - nothing.
Same here (freshly wiped XT1072 with build 20170910). Removing all APNs and manually applying the required APN-Setting won't help.

Hello LuK, still no internet connection 3g,2g and 4g.nothing.
Thank you for your work.

There's a clear scheme given on how to report errors/bugs. None of you provided said information or a log.

3.Picture in picture mode isn't working
3. Try to add Pixel launcher
4.FM isn't working
Hmmm... For FM you could probably refer thewisenerd's patches. FM works in his latest build.

Clear all in TWRP & flash the zip + gapps.
@Shrukul awesome work and thanks a lot for your hard work for this device
Can I request you to try to build aosp 8.0 build top as it would be much lighter than los
So after some hours of usage I found that there is heating issue and battery drain as compared to wisenerds N build. While checking kernel auditor all CPUs were active.
Hatsoff Dude !!
Most of the devs are leaving us... But you worked hard and brought a stable build for us... And Your OREO tastes yummy... Working fine... No over heating issues and lags... Never checked the SOT... Just flashed an hour ago... Till now no probs... Once again thanx...
Nice Works bro............
Really good work....everyone is leaving the mi4i but you gave Android 8.0 to this mobile....A big thanks for your effort...

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Pretty smooth rom. No major lags or bugs till now. Keep up the good work!
Does anyone have a link of working pixel launcher app that supports new P gestures? I tried various apps but none seems to work.

You must install Magisk Manager apk. then it will apear.
What is going on here? This ROM is much faster than any based on Oreo or even Nougat. I have installed GAPPS and still smooth as butter.

Is it normal /system/system/priv-app when install this custom ROM?
System folder is in two levels.
Does anyone know of a way to manually Resize partitions on the Moto G, currently using TWRP and I have 2 of the phones so I don't mind testing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, other than that. Great ROM, seems very stable. Even with Magisk, just missing Gapps now.
Very glad people are still supporting this phone, it's always fun to keep it going.
Thanks for any help - Josh
How is the time to boot this ROM each time? Is it the as same as lineageos 16 ? About 3mn
I see that it would be great if you could port Project Treble to this device...I know that there is no sufficient space available but you can take a part from /data to be able to create a new vendor partition ?

Default /cache partition wastes 650 megs, could symlink something big there to reclaim some space

How do we do that?
For convenience I use MiXplorer - create symbolic link - or you can use plain ln command in terminal
