[Completed] [Q] Touch Screen not interpreting held touches properly - XDA Assist

System: Android 4.2.2
Phone: Samsung Duos 2 GT-S7582L (Albeit I used a prerooted version of GT-S7582 to flash root my phone so now my system identifies as just GT-S7582)
Posting here because I couldn't find a relevant thread nor could I find a way to post in the main forum.
When using my phone, I am unable to do things that require holding contact for an extended period due to how the phone interprets sequential touches. When I click on the lower side of the screen (home button side) it assigns that touch as being contact #1 but if I proceed to click on the upper side relative to it (Samsung logo side) it assigns the new contact as #1 and switches the old to #2. Does not happen the other way around. My problem is when it does that games either lose the other contact (not often) or treat it as letting go and clicking again (standard reaction) and this makes it such that I'm unable to play properly. I just rooted my phone 3 days ago and haven't noticed any change. Does anyone know a way to change this behavior? Root solutions are welcome.

HELP! I want to change senstivity of my touch screen

Hi, I am new here and also new to android.
I have Galaxy Nexus i9250 (rooted + CWM). I am having an issue with the mobile, sometimes touch screen of the mobile starts being tapped automatically and i have to lock and then unlock to stop it. I want to get rid of it.
I recorded those events using getevent via adb, you can see attached image. If you watch the ABS_MT_PRESSURE value it is mostly lower than 00000045.
I don't exactly know how screen interacts with touch events and what this value means. Please guide me in right direction, can i solve this problem by modifying the OS or it is related to firmware? Please guide me in right direction.
Thanks
P.S sorry for my bad English.

[Completed] Changing model of touch screen (Android)

Hello, first time posting here, I'll try to keep it short.
I have an Android device, mt6589t, kernel 3.4.5, FT5316DME touch screen.
Is it possible to connect TouchScreen from another phone model, if it has same touch chip? (disregarding dimensions)
Tried connecting, but android didn't seem to register touches - no info from "Pointer Location" bar (the one from development options).
If the answer is more complex, than yes/no - where should I start my search? No luck from google so far.
Hi!
I very much doubt you could use any touch screen other than a duplicate of what you have...in other words, the one made for your exact device.
But, you can ask here or other opinions....

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I don't know how electronic compasses work; may be a hardware issue.
Unfortunately this site is very sparse on the X11, so you will need to ask the question again somewhere more general:
> General discussion > Questions and Answers > [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly.
Please note, in order to post there, you will need an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed] [Help] How to edit to fix some bug ?

Hello everyone,
I turn to you after a pack of unsuccessful searches for problems I encounter. And not enough control to correct the problem despite several attempts. Here is the challenge :
Indeed I have an Archos 53 Platinum under CM10.1 that; left a few seconds without activity (viewing a web page, read an E-book, ...) refuses to answer the touch screen or the touch keys. However, the notification bar can be deployed and navigation from there with the touch screen is normal (except touch keys that still refuse to answer).
Lock / unlock the device returns to normal operation of the appliance until it is stimulated. But this will cause premature wear of the On / Off button already fragile phone.
I have tried to change the options and lock timeouts and screen, nothing there. Resettlement from non-zero more. And the concern does not seem material as it works perfectly ignition and unlocking, as well as not passing the notification bar.
I wonder if anyone has an idea to bring correction?

[Completed] Faulty Moto G 2ndG Screen

Hi everyone, my screen has been replaced (not by me, in a specialized store), and is showing some problems. The screen pixels kind of blink with some higher resolution images, in details, and even in the text, for example in the dropdown tab where I can activate wireless, plane mode, etc. I think it is a hardware problem, maybe some faulty cable or the screen itself, cause I've updated my rom (CM13) and the problem still persists. The problem is shown in the next images and video, for better understanding.
I'd like some help to find the problem, solve it or ask someone more able than I to do so. Could it be the screen not being correctly recognized by the software? GPU problem? I have no clue. -
Here are the pics/video:
(Can't post full links, so here I go, you're smart enough to get it )
