Me and my family are overseas in Germany right now. I am wondering if we ordered a case from the states (Amazon or wherever), if it will fit onto the Galaxy S6 my wife got here in Germany? I know this probably seems like a silly question but my wife wants a specific case for her phone and they don't have it over here or on the Amazon DE site.
Nah, although there are some internal differences between various models the physical dimensions are all the same.

Be weary of sellers on Amazon with bad descriptions.
I bought the following two products from PC Micro Store (fulfilled by Amazon):
ASIN: B002C12760 and B002B9KRYM
Both description are "for T-Mobile G2 with Google Phone", and since the products were added to Amazon on Sept 30, I figured I'd give them a shot.
Of course, these are products for the Hero, not the G2 (which they fail to mention anywhere in the description.)
There is another reseller for OEM T-mobile hard cases on there, but they do not qualify for Prime shipping. I'm only out $10 (which I'll RMA anyway) - just be careful if buying from Amazon.
thanks for the heads up
Bummer man. Thx for the heads up though =)
The cut outs in the back of that look similar to the back of the original MyTouch, it is probably the typical naming and bad description of micro 3rd party resellers.
I'd hate to play devil's advocate, but wasnt the the hero branded as the "g2" on a few european carriers? I seem to remember seeing box art for that years ago.

Exactly - for example Era G2 in Poland
Do NOT buy the iPhone case from Monoprice.com and try to fit your G2 inside of it. I almost broke my phone when I forced it into this case. The little tab at the top pushed itself inbetween the screen and keyboard and was separating it while in the closed position
Fortunately I was able to get it off without damaging my phone, however it was really hard to get off and I was ****ting myself when trying to get it off.
TLDR: DON'T TRY TO FIT YOUR G2 IN A FORM-FITTING IPHONE CASE! (even though they're similar in size)
I ordered my z5 from a seller at Hong Kong, but end up getting a z5 dual e6683.
I don't really mind getting dual version. However, I really want to know if it supports LTE cat6.
According to the white paper, it only supports cat4.
However, according to the spec page it seems to support cat6.
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks.
I think going with the whitepaper is more accurate.
I'm thinking of picking up a dual as well... Which reseller from hk did you pick it up from?

I get it from NGP STORE USA on Amazon, but be aware they actually send from Hk instead of US as they quote.
hey all,
Headsup, I would not trust that retailer (ngp) again!
I EXPLICITLY ordered the z5 6653, it should have been mailed from the USA to arrive in 48hrs...
I got the z5 6683 (serious) with no USA USB adapter (minor) & came from Hong Kong with crazy extra fees,
Then they ripped me off on shipping fees (return & resending), took forever to get (+6 weeks) & sent me a device that superficially appears to be the z5 but there's lots of red flags...
The USA adapter is damaged, setup in Spanish with weird pre-installed apps, the clear plastic new device screen protector is blank instead of an image of the home screen & most important, I can find zero way to confirm that the device has cat 6 lte.
If anyone has ideas how to confirm that this device I was sent actually has cat 6 lte &/or counterfeit status, I would really appreciate it...
Even if this thing is the real deal & has cat 6, I would strongly, very strongly recommend that absolutely no one trust this company or purchase anything from them!

I don't know, and specifically, don't care, if this question annoys, but I must see if someone knows. Can anyone explain the reason fo the major price flux when it comes to purchasing a refurbished, unlocked Samsung S4? 5.0, of course.
Same reason you get different prices on used cars. Different condition, different mods, different hardware(depending on which phone company and country the phone was from originally). And of course, some folks are just ripping you off.
Some phone companies will have the same phones with different chipsets, or more RAM, etc. If you can get model numbers for the phone, you can find what company it was made for.
Yep, the AT&T version of a phone might have different specs than one from Verizon, and an international model of the same phone might have extra sim card slots.
The phone name isn't as firm a description as needed.

Gonna be overpriced!!

In my country of origin Serbia, I paid 250 euros for a pretty nice 3,4 month old GT-9505, that was 18, 19 moths ago. With an oterbox commuter i bought for it and with current pricing here i will be able to sell it for 150 euros in the spring. Add onother 100 or such and get a v10 or a G4. Price of this phone is not falling at all here(looking on ebay is more or less a similar trend) even thou every other person is rocking an iphone 6 and galaxy s6 here. Supply and demand i guess.
But the flux you must be referring to is according to the exact model and state.
Example: T mobile branded-dont know if unlocked bootloader-bloatfull-god knows what- ****ed up version:ebay/itm/For-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-SGH-M919-16GB-Unlocked-T-Mobile-Smartphone-13MP-Black-/141715068443?hash=item20fee0561b:g:kbMAAOSw4HVWCkGi

International clean as it gets

It is normal for it to be more expensive from my perspective
My advice is to skip any version of S4 as of now, get a G3 or a one plus x., or even get a galaxy s5 for the same money.
It looks like Samsung may have peaked with the S4. I definitely would not trade my S5 for the S6. And I have the S5 only because I skipped from the S3 and were no S4s around. The S5 is only a small step up, and the 6 is going backwards by losing the sdcard.
Right now, HTC m8 and asus zenfone 2 seem to be where I'd look.
Before I fork out £80 for it. I have the galaxy S7 Has anyone got any examples of stuff I could actually do with it or is it all just pretty simple apps?
I'd love to get immersed in another world!
Edit- Scratch that, it's only Argos that's selling it for that price. Amazon has it for £50! Or is the Argos version the latest, or something?

No, there is no difference, both are the old consumer model.

Hello,
I've bought my Galaxy S22 Ultra in the UAE in February, and I don't know how today my screen cracked.
Phone never felt, with protective case, was in my pocket. Anyway i'm not here for that.
I left the UAE last april, and now live if France.
UAE and Europe doesn't have the same model (S908E vs S908B)
My local store told me that he can't change my screen because pieces for the two models are differents.
Do you know if the screen really has differents references for each models? or if he totally bul**** me.
Anyway I'm stucked cause I can't apply for smart-repair-service from samsung french website, telling me that my product is not a valid model.
thanks for any lead you can provide
Ship it back in UAE and fix it there if Samsung.fr can't
Was your local store an actual Samsung store? If not, I recommend taking it to someone else, because the guy you talked to is full of s**t. I think he is just going by the model number of the phone and not the part number of the display.
Otherwise, you may need to send it directly to Samsung for repair.
