[GHOST] [BOOTANIMATIONS] All original bootanimations for the unlocked moto x - Moto X Themes and Apps

NOTE: these files are formatted for phones who are running 4.4, 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.4.4 5.0.x, 5.1. If your phone has any other version, or the bootloader from an older version, these may not work for you!!
To get the bootanimations users will need a UNLOCKED bootloader and a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM for flashing the files.
For those who have a LOCKED bootloader, Motorola Boot Services apk will update the CLOGO and Boot Animations seasonally and on a timed basis (they revert back to "stock" after a certain date).
This thread offers the original and seasonal bootanimations that are offered by motorola, including the corrosponding bootlogo., in a flashble zip format. (This also gets rid of the unlocked bootloader warning that users see) I will add every new bootanimation and CLOGO when they come out.
NOTE: Some of the animation packets might not be present at the current time, these will be uploaded ASAP.
Bootanimations
Moto x Standard boot animation
Moto x Winter 2013 boot animation
The map containing all Bootanimations.
Ghost (Moto X)

Thanks man, makes it an easy way to get rid of unlock warning

No, unfortunately the error is still present. I am still trying to fix the issue. Soccerboot can be downloaded but will give an error message while flashing.

Succes! Sort of

The file flashed succesfully to my phone, but upon rebooting the phone I noticed that the animation was not displayed. This is because the animation is in a video format. This format is already supported by Motorola phones, but is disabled after flashing a custom rom. To fix this there is a custom Boot Binary. One is for devices running Lollipop, the other for Kitkat. I will have to try if i can find the boot animation in a normal images way. If you want to try updating the binary, I will happely share the link.

I am on aosp 4.4.4. Will soccerboot work in it.

You can always try. It might work on aosp but I cannot tell for sure. The worst that can happen is your phone not displaying the bootanination, witch is solved when flashing a different one. I would find it really helpful if you tested the zip on aosp. I will Add the binaries later today or tomorrow. I will add the links in the main thread, and explain what needs to be done.

Thanks again, will surely thank you too and even mention you in the thread for testing if you want. I am currently working on some more bootanimations, including custom ones. I'm also trying to find a way to hack into active display to get it working on custom roms, although that might take some time and might not even be possible.

A pokeball comes on screen rolling and then a pokemon pops out of it. Then it goes in again and it happens in a loop.
Else a pokeball rotates on its spot and with every rotation pokeball changes into another pokeball atlast masterball with moto logo.
Else pokemon charmander or bulbasaur or squirtle comes running on the screen and evolves to max.
Else pikachu runs over the screen and atlast circles the moto or moto x logo.

Make this choice during installation
if you have any réponder not you have a basic ics otherwise
the first choice
if you réponder yes you will have a rom xperiaS and yes
if you réponder the second choice you will have a rom SGS3
CAUTION NEVER CHOOSE 2 THEME PACK during the same install ...
Anyone care to share some SGS3 theme screenshots? I'm curious.

Try redownloading the file.
Kriss - it does work with the Inspire.
I flashed it three times after a clean install because I wanted to see the difference between the themes.
The first time I flashed both themes, after that I then read your post to not do so. However, I didn't notice any issues besides s voice force closing after a little use.
It flashed with the sg3 theme and the keyboard from the xperia launcher.
Second flash was with only sg3 theme, s voice did not force close but it had the stock keyboard
Third flash xperia theme. I preffer the keyboard here, but no worries, I cn flash the htc ime kb. Gonna go back and try the sg3 theme again.
Everything seems to be working great, as usual kriss.
There was one thing I did notice. The toggle for data does not work. The rest, wifi, gps, etc. do work.

Hi there, rather new to all this. Just wondering how i go about flashing the unit with this file? I have ever flashed a phone before (although I think i understand the basics having done it on PC/laptops a few times) Sorry for my ignorance, but im new to all of this.
The reason i need it is i have a customers S4 that no longer displays the keyboard at the initial lock screen and therefore nothing can be put in the passcode field.
Edit: Although reading one of the above comments "it would be awesome if we can get it working with stock recovery." I'm guessing this is not going to work for this case?

You're the best sir!
First of all sorry for bumping this thread. It is just that I can't contain myself. I was locked of my phone, I have a Galaxy Grand running Lollipop. Last night I set a pattern, I did not like the first one so I changed it but when I rebooted it won't accept any of the 2 patterns I've set. I was losing hope and was about to face the dreadful factory reset button but then I found this and placed the file via a Guest account then flashed it in recovery. All of a sudden BOOOOOOM I rebooted and the pattern was gone. All thanks to you good sir! I hope I could smash the thanks button more than once. :victory:

[twrp][s3] 2.8.6.0

Hi
I have compilled TWRP 2.8.6.0 for the villec2.
If anyone is interested, you can try it out here:
https://mega.co.nz/#!i1g0zSjA!S_cX2cSsJ3MVG-KNPSNLj_R1MZ-5LS_Agn2tPBNmJl4
The recovery works great with the Materialised Theme from

I would have posted this in the villec2 development forum, but as i'm below the 10 post limit, i decided to post it here instead
Thanks

I'll send my VilleC2 to javelinanddart(from China to America, amazing!) because he's interesting in develop for it. He said he would use jtag or other ways to repair it
I'll also buy a Nexus 9 on this summer vacation and I'll quit this development......

The ROM i posted in the the first post don't have SELINUX support, but this has:
https:// mega.co.nz /#!j9AA3JTK!9O0m8Ko7HXpsJk2JKUyS5dSj3otaSVF7SHCDZblT3tQ (added spaces in URL, is i can't post links with below 10 posts )
It based upon xiaolvmu's kernel and got f2fs and SELINUX support. However there is a bug where it fails to restore the /system partition. I don't know the reason for that.
Also, i haven't tested it with non-f2fs ROMs, but it will probably work.
It is compiled using commit 5d30a5f377c229864964f9a5712156843c685be7 of xiaolvmu's device tree, and commit 1091546ae2e8d3f0212389855f0792cc9ad6adf7 of his kernel.
About developing for the villec2: I don't really have any experience at linux kernel developing or android android development in general, so i don't know how much progress i would be able to make.
Maybe i will take a look at it in about a months time. I have exams the 18th of June, and afterwards I'm going to a music festival until 6th of July, so i will probably not look at it before that.

if you boot in to your bootloader , there is ville or villec2 in the second line
Does not display the temperature , always shows that I have 66% of battery! (Maybe it's just me? )
