[Q] Nexus Root Toolkit trouble

Hello people,
I'm trying to Unlock the bootloader of my Nexus S (SHW-M200K) with Nexus Root Toolkit. But the problem is that i need the Modified boot image named "modified_boot_sojuk_4.1.1_JRO03E.img" to do that & I can't download it from Goo.im :crying: . WugFresh is not replying my comments. Please help me to download that image. Thanks.

:victory: It worked itself today somehow. Anyway you were very helpful and i appreciate that. Thank you so much. I'm going to Root my Korean SHW-M200K and flash CyanogenMod 10 Stable with Marmite kernel. It works right? :silly:

Yep it works pretty well. Make sure you flash the marmite-cm version. :good:

That's sweet news . ej8989, can you give me a Link to that kernel and Tell me how to flash the kernel. I know how to flash the ROM but not kernel :silly: . Advices from you is so better. (I'm a noooooob in android. I was a iPhone guy since birth LOL. So help meee :highfive :silly:

Flashing a kernel is the same as flashing a rom, if you're doing it via custom recovery. :good:

What is this really?

Install NS Tools from playstore to be able to control the kernel's features.
If the kernel's working out great for you, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27598370&postcount=1
Then click the "Thanks" button at the lower left corner of the post. :good:

In what way are you having troubles with it? During calls?
And what version of CM10 are you using? (For reference)

Yeah, the display does not turn off. Then i downloaded "Proximity sensor finder" and checked, it didn't work either :crying:

Unfortunately I can't help you with this.
I also had problems a few months back with another sensor (accelerometer) using CM10 so i switched ROMs and never used stock CM10 again. Let's hope someone with the proper solution might be able to help you :good:
Oh by the way, did you do a clean flash? (Wipe everything before flashing the ROM)

Yeah i wiped everything. Is the problem with ROM? Can you give me a Stock kernel? But the problem is SHW-M200 latest version of stock is 4.1.1 :crying:

I am quite positive it's the ROM. Try this: Flash the ROM again without wiping anything.

Ok i'll try. Is your Mirage Divide 2.2 ROM and Xens 05/27 Kernel Good? Can i use the Latest DSP Manger with it?

Yep it's quite good but there's a new version out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305485
I'd recommend trying that if your problem still persist after re-flashing CM10.

heeey, i Noticed that Accelerometer is also not working & just gave a reboot. Everything works fine now :highfive: :victory:

By the ways guys
1. I am a ROM porter and builder not a problem solver
2. This patch problems will be solved when cm12.1 problems are solved so I am waiting for cm12.1 solution!

How to install:
(Note: I am not responsible for any problems caused from my patch. So to be carefull have a cm 11 zip or backup with you and any sign of problem tell me I will try to solve them.)
Instructions:
1.Download cm12.1, patches and cyanogenos12.
2.Go to twrp or any recovery
3.First install cm12.1 as directed as in cm12.1 thread and install patches which are given by #y-bee4pda also and then install my patch ROM (no need to wipe data or anything.)
That's it guys...

What you need to do is just install cm12.1 and patches given by #y-bee4pda, then install my patch(65MB). that's it. Thank you xda.

Hi yasat thank you for your work, but yes, i had issues with cm11 so i decided to install cm12.1, patch 1 and patch 2, gapps and this patch of yours, then simcard wont be detected. By the way good job.

Sorry but this is very updated and nice rom. I have just taken Renovate ICE as my inspiration. This is more updated, Tweaked, Improved in pretty much anyway. This is in no way a clone, I just added many of the same features as Renovate did.

Try it out and see before you judge, Being inspired by a successful and nice ROM doesn't mean its the same :fingers-crossed: Renovate doesn't even have the Oct sec patch

Guys I will look into fixing this ROM. I will check why its not flashing. Also since when is inspired not okay? You even say in your OP slight bang might be ok. I think issue with this rom is the Aroma. Disable ZIP signature verification and it works just fine if you do that. Also please please do not judge before you tried to install it and use it. this is NOT renovate rom rip off!! this is my rom man
