[SLOVED]HELP!! My Z3 is bicked :( - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I am using a D6633 Dual sim Z3, I unlocked the bootloader today, and I flashed custom rom to see if it works, the rom works but it doesn't detect the sim cards, so I used xperia flash tool to go back to stock rom. It was working fine, but again I really wanted to try again to test if other Roms work on my device, so i used the "giefroot_v3" tool to root my device, and install the "lockdualrecovery" to get the recovery working on my phone, I boot in to recovery mode and I think I did a huge mistake, which is I didn't relized that the bootloader is locked when I went back to stock, I flashed the Roms and when it restart I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING!!!!!!
I CAN'T SEE SONY LOGO, I CAN'T SEE LED LIGHT FLASHING, NOT EVEN WHEN I PLUG THE CABLE IN :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Please help me ..................

Try plugging it to the pc while holding volume up. Do you get the blue LED?

I flashed a faulty recovery using mobileuncles and there was no signs of life other than a red led liggt, and holding power + volume up works just fine and it went into flashmode.
I have the same issue.
I organized xperia light rom for our xperia c, I flashed it from custom recovery. Phone is completely dead now.
There is a just red light, phone does not go into download or fastboot mode. Pc Companion, Sony Update Center, Wmshua Flashtool do not recognize the phone.
Any suggestion with that?
I don't have warranty, my last option is to pay money for technical service.
this worked for me but instead of POWER+VOL UP i used POWER+VOL DOWN
thanks
thank, i like this forum
worth to try... (hope it won't happen to me  )
I have experienced this too, however, instead of using the Sony Update Service, I used the Sony PC Companion. At first it was not working, so I did a hard reset on the phone (press the button at the back). I held the power+up button while inserting the cable, and finally it was detected by Sony. It will reset your device to factory settings though.

If you flash a different device's rom, it happens. If you replace your motherboard, it will work again.

It worked for my Xperia M (rooted on JB 4.3) with a locked bootloader which was STUCK on bootloop screen and when I did the whole thing with holding the power and volume up button (after I let the battery die after so many bootloops it did), FINALLY I was able to take it to flashmode, while I had selected from Sony PC Companion to repair my phone, and after 3-4 tries, I DID IT!!! Thank you so much for this thread ( I DEFINITELY pressed the "thanks" button), it really SAVED ME time and money (because I was planning to send it to Sony to fix it and you ALL know how bastards Sony is)!!!! And to all those of you who are DESPERATE to fix their phone (I hope you read this thread), DON'T PANIC, and DON'T GIVE UP!!! It took me 2 days of searching the web, and FINALLY I MADE IT!!! There are ALWAYS solutions to these kinds of problems!!!!

[Q] Xperia Tipo Bricked

Hey Guys,
I ran into a bit of problem lately, I have an xperia tipo (st21i) and its unfortunately, bricked.
I had installed cm11 and android kitkat 4.4.2 ROM on it but decided to change to the Xperia Z fire s2 , which would work on my phone.
At first, I put the new ROM on the external Sd Card and went into recovery mode and tried to set it up but the installation was aborted.
So I downloaded sony's flashtool and i tried to flash but it didnt work.
So i used CMD and the ADB drivers as I had used for the kitkat rom.
as soon as I gave the fastboot-reboot command, the screen of the phone lit up the top was colored grey and the rest white.
I read that taking out the battery and then reinserting and trying to boot into recovrey would help but nothing happened.
So i left it for a while and then when i charged it today and plugged it into my laptop, the thing wouldnt even boot up, or be detected.
The green led is always on when it is connected to the laptop.
The green led flashes and the phone vibrates when i press power button or power+ (-)volume.
however if i press power+ (+)volume the blue led flashes.
Help guys,i have no idea what to do!!
use androxyde flashtool in flashmode
downld firmware with xperiFIRM
and write more concise error reports.
btw ure in the wrong forum altogether.
Thanks
Thanks a lot for the help

Miro bricked after flashing wrong bootloader

Hi,
I don't know what can I do now, perhaps noting. I accidentialy flashed wrong bootloader (from other xperia, not Miro). Now phone seems to be completly bricked, I can't turn it on and my PC does not see any new device after connecting phone to usb. I also tried to remove and insert battery, after this when trying to power on, there is short vibration and nothing more.
Do you have any ideas? Or I simply should to use it as brick, not as phone or put it to my toilet and wash? Thanks.
Can you get in flashmode? Power button down + connect to pc. Flash proper ftf for your phone.
Sent from Xperia M2 D2303
Don't worry, Your phone is not hard bricked. As you mentioned that on starting , phone is vibrating that means there are chances to recover your phone.
1.First go through this guide :Using Flashtool for Xperia devices
2.Download your current stock firmware . Visit this: Miro all official firmwares
3.Install proper drivers as mentioned in the above 1.flashtool guide.
4.Flash the firmware for your phone , according to the above 1. Flastool guide.
5.Wait untill flashing completes. start your device when you are told to do so.
Good luck :good:

It seems I can't. I already tried this, but nothing happens. As far as I know, there should be blue led after connect. But nothing happens and PC can't see any new device.

You should see green light. Try this :
Pull out battery, hold power button for 10 seconds without battery. Reinstall battery, hold volume button - and connect to usb. Then follow steps that prateek.invasion gave you.
The point is you can flash ftf and restore your phone.
Good luck.

Thanks, I will try. Batteery is not charging, so I need to do this quick, it was not fully charged.
Unfortunatly, I can't do anything. I tried to connect while Volume down + power pressed. But nothing happens, only led flashing with red color. PC can't see any new device after I connect to usb.
Any ideas?

I had the same issue with my xperia e after I unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM, the phone just rebooted itself at boot up. If you have installed CWM I suggest you to install a custom rom and a new kernel. That worked for me . Or ofc, if you have warranty you can send it to them. They won't be able to tell if you installed another rom since the pc doesn't recognize the phone.
I don't have cwm... trying to connect to computer with volume down pressed. After this led starts flashing red and computer can't see any device connected
Seems there is no any recovery or I can't put it to recovery mode.

Z3 won`t charge via USB

I have a Z3 which won`t charge from anything other than magnetic cable.I tried holding volume up and pluging the cable, only blue light shows and nothing, tried holding volume down, flashes red green blue and nothing again. When i connect it only with usb phone starts with a big battery symbol but doesn`t charge...tried holding power+ vol down and vol up again nothing tried pressing the reset button near the sd slot but again no connection.Bad part is that I don`t have any drivers for it on this PC but still it does not connect...
What version of android you are at are you using stock or aosp rom or stock or custom kernals both things can affect your charging in your phone. You can download drivers from the Sony,s website and can start flashing stock roms the charging part can be the software or if you have a broken connector on your Xperia Z3
It`s 6.0.1 version, but my PC does not recognise the device...

Then my friend you are in a heap of trouble. Well sort of two more questions i need to ask your question is confusing me
Q1 can your device boot to the OS ?
Q2 Have you tried fast boot if not flash an custom recovery like TWRP
If you have the case that your phone does not boot would not detect or be recognized by either Flash mode or fastboot mode then your phone might need some work
