Instead of keeping track of 3 versions, please click here to go to my main Original Development for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Post: Click Me!
This is posted here, also, because I specifically need rooted users, so not ATT or Verizon, thus their exclusion!

I was not sure who to contact in this case so i decided to post here. Is it possible to create a new forum for the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SGH-I757M). The reason i am asking is because there is actually no forum for this device. Just are a few posts scattered in the Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 > Galaxy S II General section which can be very misleading. I think it would be beneficial in this case as there are a few people already working on the CM9 and CM10 roms plus it has been visited by thousand. Yes i agree not near as many as some devices (Galaxy S3) but as you can see there are people visiting the few posts every day.
Sincerely Gentledroid
any ideas who i may need to contact?

I actually was about to start a thread about this, I need to find more info on rooting capabilities of this device and if it can be rootedo n ics 4.0.4
As the subject says... Will we have the carrier-specific (such as T-Mobile and Sprint) Note Edge forums? I'd like to see ROM/kernel development on these devices...
Ditto I would like to know this too...
Tritto. Lumping us all together is not a good idea, considering the differences.
I asked because, considering XDA's tradition, we have almost always [quickly] seen carrier-specific forums for the popular/premiere devices. Note 4, for example, got their own carrier forums almost immediately. The generic "Galaxy Note Edge" is usually used for the international versions.
When carrier forums arrive, deodexed ROMs tend to follow, then kernels and custom ROMs...
I keep thinking that the carrier forums will pop up any moment now, but it hasn't....
Request that the forums be split up here

For you who want to see development for T-Mo and/or Sprint Note Edge, or want to see these devices to have dedicated forums, please go to the above thread and post a request.
See this post:

I consolidated all the requests up to this point, more requests can't hurt....
Thanks.

Hi:
I have the Samsung Galaxy Note IIs on Verizon running Android 4.1.2. I want to upgrade but have several questions. Mainly, I want to keep verizon as my carrier but want easy root capability and I have been sorely disappointed with the Samsung camera and those annoying blue dots i low light.
Currently, I understand there is no root if I upgrade my Note2 to the most recent version through Verizon, so the field is wide open for suggestions.
Things that are important to me.
I use my phone as a camera so I want a decent one.
I use my phone for navigation, both on land and water so GPS/battery is important
I use my phone as a hotspot using Foxfi. (I have the old VErizon unlimited dataplan and don't want to lose that.
Thanks!
There's a dedicated thread for such questions here,

Hi everybody and specially the moderators. Attention seeking for this particular device
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active SM-G890A which is released exclusively by AT&T.
Now this is a very different device than standard S6 or S6 Edge or S6 Edge Plus, still there is not a separate section for this device. Henceforth requesting the moderators/admin of XDA family to create a separate section for this device. The devices's thread is post under normal S6 due to which the device is loosing attention by the ROM modders, and its been ages since we S6 active users are waiting for a root for this device. This device was released by AT&T with standard 5.0.2 and now been updated to 5.1.1. I am willing to provide the stock rom of both version. Any other areas where the community feels is lacking info for this device due to which it hasn't earned a separate section, I am willing to provide all the bits. So kindly look into the request and create a separate section for this device.
Awaiting the root badly....
Eh, not sure if you noticed, but there is a separate S6 Active section now. It was created two weeks back or so...
Where's that main section? All I can see is a sub-section as the topic creator stated: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/galaxy-s6-active

I meant that subsection, which is already much better than before when we were just part of the S6 section
The title is self explanatory and to those newcomers who need an introduction or a basic understanding about Cyanogenmod (CM for short), here it is:
CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware based on the open-source Android operating system.
The Galaxy S7 Edge | S7 are great smartphones and they have really taken over the market in many ways but I'm here to talk about now and the future of these devices.
Samsung has been pushing updates at a stable rate so far and security has never been so much tighter with these monthly patches.
However after at least 18 months both of these devices will no longer receive software updates. And software is what helps keep these devices going on the long run.
End-of-life dates for the S7 Edge | S7 are already set privately by Sammy and ready to be applied in the near future.
Cyanogenmod is the gateway of... let the term for now be: "afteruse".
CM being the gateway of afteruse can boost the lifetime of these devices since they really deserve more time with their owners.
If you wish contributing in any way to help the message be heard then by all means visit this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/dev-request-cyanogenmod-13-g935f-t3382412
Fevax is willing to port Cyanogenmod 13 for the Galaxy S7 Edge G935F and when a working build is up and ready he will start to port it for the Flat S7 G930F. A pledge is already being taken place at the above link and if you wish to invest for a working port then please do so it would mean a lot to the community. If you'd like to test the software at its early alpha stages your most welcome just visit the link and comment your intention.
As a side note this is a discussion thread so feel free to comment down below concerning what I've posted above or post about the subject at hand and your feelings from it and towards it.
Thank you and have a nice day.
EDIT: THE ORIGINAL CYANOGENMOD 13 DISCUSSION THREAD BY Fevax MENTIONED IN THE LINK ABOVE IS CLOSED.
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do with this thread and what is different to the original thread you linked ?

I'm pretty much explaining why and how developing Cyanogenmod for the Galaxy S7 Edge | S7 can be fruitful. To attract owners and users of these devices and increase the popularity of the main thread by providing it's means and how necessary or important it is.
Also the developer might just appreciate helpful hands here and there with donations and alpha testers on the table of the development.
