[Q] Unroot trouble with Note Pro - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I unrooted my Note Pro, but the boot up still says "Custom Android", as does the status page in settings. I need help with this.
Device: Galaxy Note Pro
Model: SM-P905v
Carrier: Verizon
Rom: Stock
Bootloader: Locked Stock
Root Method: Towel Root
Unroot attempted method: SuperSu's Unroot option
Knox: 0x0

I was able to leave the system rooted and within Wanam Xposed change the system between custom/official.

If you haven't tripped your Knox yet...I'd be cautious. If you truly want to get back to factory non-root, you r gonna have to factory reset. If that doesn't work, then I'd be real careful to flash stock rom. lemme know if you can't find stock roms. I did a full internet sweep a few months ago and grabbed all the galaxy note ones I could find. Ill post it up if you ask nice.

[Q] Rooting Verizon Galaxy Note II 4.3 after tripping Knox and 4.1.1 downgrade

Okay guys. Here we go. I screwed up the other day while trying to load a custom ROM following a friends instructions. I tripped Knox on my Verizon Note II 4.3 and was forced to downgrade to 4.1.1. My phone is no longer rooted and I am trying to figure out how to root from 4.1.1 with a locked bootloader and then use safestrap to install custom ROMs. Sadly I cannot find any info anywhere after several hours of searching. I've read up on Knox and I could care less about warranty info (I bought the phone used after all) and I just want to be able to load custom ROMs so I can better enjoy my phone while being able to restore APN settings since I am running on a non-Verizon carrier service. Please help!
Edit: I used RootChecker to make sure that my phone is no longer rooted after downgrading to 4.1.1
Edit: Fixed with Kingo Root

[Q] Samsung Galaxy tab 4 7.0 still get updates?

Hello everyone!
Yesterday i've rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 trough odin and twrp.
In the evening i've tried the update software function and a error showed up "The android os was modified with non-usual methods... please use Samsung Kies to update." or something like that.
Why i can't do updates anymore ? It is because the tablet is rooted? Can i fix it ? Can i make all like it was only with wipe/data factory reset? If not, what can i do?
I want to mentioj that i didn't change the rom, it still running the android that he came when i bought the tablet. I only rooted for uninstalling useless apps from samsung.
It's because Knox is tripped - use Wanam xpos ed with the hack option to fake Knox is not tripped. Installing recovery tripped Knox.

Update 5.1 ROM for Note 3 SM-N900 Exynos Processor

I am new to this custom ROM kind of things.
I am user of Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 Exynos Processor. bought from India.
What i want to do is changing my ROM with some latest ROM. like either NOTE 4 or NOTE 5 ROM.
Is it possible?
I have heard that by doing this process Knox Flag may be tripped. and Tripped KNOX flag means warranty is void. SO can it be untripped ever ?
Also before starting any kind of this process, samsung executive suggested me to take a full recovery of existing OS. SO how i can do that ?
Anyone can guide me step by step process to achive this? and pls explain me in brief so i can get some clear vision.
Thanks a lot in advance.
There are some note 4 and note 5 port's available for the n900. Flashing any rom or rooting will trip Knox and destroy ur warranty. Do not listen to samsung support. They do not support customization of your software aND usually provide bad advice. If you want to flash the custom rom,you need a custom recovery and root. Good luck.
Thanks. Is there any good Custom Rom along with steps of Custom Recovery, root and flashing it?

First of all, this is a wrong section mate, you can ask questions in Q&A section(for Exynos too)
About your questions:
Yes, there are ROMs which will make your note 3 similar to Note4/5 in terms of functionality.Aurora Team S6/Note5 Full Port For Note 3
Yes, this process will trip your knox counter, but you can reset it (only for Exynos as of now). step by step guide
(i have tried it, also claimed warranty after resetting knox )
To take full recovery(a full backup, not recovery) you first have to ROOT(Guide) your phone and install custom recovery (Guide)(till this step your OS is as it was) and then take a full-OS-backup through recovery.
It's better to go through the theories in the forums, but if you want a to-the-point guide, message me

I did CF-AutoRoot first.
Then phone started but OS was not working properly and KNOX flag was tripped. So i just untripped that flag. using the link you provided.
The KNOX warranty is again back to 0. so it means that flag is changed successfully.
But OS is not starting.
Currently my phone is on download mode. It is showing
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
KNOX Warranty VOID: 0
AP SWRV: A0
HW REV: 11
DDR SIZE: 3G(0x2020)
BUILD VERSION: HA3GZS_TEST
BINARY SBOOT VERSION: VERSION_+A4
DEVICE MODEL NAME: SM-N900
EMIC PNM:032GE4
Will installating a Stock ROM resolve my issue?
Yes installing stock would reset every thing. ..phone will work
My friend you should make factory wipe after flashing root file for the first time and do not untrip the knox counter.
Im india the service centre people don't see your knox warranty unless you tell them that you tampered the device.
I got my full body replaced even when my knox was 0×1

Galaxy S5 Root and Questions

I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I want to root to get full functionality from the device. I have read several root guides but they seem to be very old. Things like Towelroot I have read doesn't work anymore.
So if someone can give me a link or post and effective and up to date guide for rooting would be great.
I also have a few questions about rooting.
1. I have heard that some roots trip Samsung Knox so I need a root that wont do this
2. What does the Knox flag 0x1 actually do to the device other than void warrenty? I have heard it permanently disables Samsung services for the phone/tablet like Kies and adds warnings to the boot screen, but I don't know if this is true.
3. I want to get Android updates for security and such, will a small update cause unroot? (I will also upgrade to Android 6.0 if/when its available for the S5 and I know upgrade will unroot)
If there is a chance of tripping Knox I will not root. I also want to be able to return the phone back to exact stock software, settings and flags as before it was rooted if I choose to.
Phone info:

Model: SAMSUNG-SM-G900A
Android version: 5.1.1
Baseband version: G900AUCU4COI5
Kernel version: 3.4.0-5869384
KNOX version
KONX 2.5
Standard SDK 4.5.0
Premium SDK 2.5.0
ect...
Don't root!!
I've got the same problem as you brother. I've got the same phone specs. I think we are out of luck right now. Attempting anything is probably a really bad idea.
But I second this call for help, I'm curious to know if there is anything that can be done.
@Woogoo as of now you can't root the AT&T S5 latest OS so don't try...

Need Help, At & T galaxy s6

Hello there, i just purchased a second hand At & t network unlocked galaxy s6 and want to root and install custom rom like noble rom etc in it because i am tired of At & t bloatware. so i want to know that how i can install it? is there any issues of bootloader locked etc? currently i am on lollipop 5.1.1 and software is up to date.... in odin menu it says
system status: custom
Reactivation lock: Off
knox warranty: 0 (0*0000)
I want a summarized instructions which i couldn't find anywhere else... so posted here.. urgent help is much appreciated
AFAIK, the AT&T variant (920A) has a locked bootloader and therefore you cannot install a custom recovery image (like TWRP) to traditionally install custom ROMs. You may be able to install a ROM via Flashfire once you root via Pingpong, as folks in the Xstre ROM thread have reported they could indeed install that ROM (provided you're already on MM and have the MM bootloader/radio on the phone). I actually just returned a 920A for a 920I for this exact reason.
You may also find success in the "Samsung Debloater" tool, search for that - I used this on an AT&T Note 4 about a year ago and it worked well to disable the carrier bloat.
