I got some scratches on the back of my T805 and wonder if I can change it myself.
So does anyone know where I can get one?? (Ebay)
It's so expensive to do it at the Samsung shop
Just buy yourself a case for your 10.5 below is the one i have it`s cheap and works great, every device gets some scratches and within a few years will be dead or obsolete so don't waste money on it.

I dropped my tab 7.7 a few months ago and the back plate was all scratched. With the warranty expiring soon I would like to replace the backplate to give my tab a brand new look. However, I googled around and could not find any backplate part available for purchase.
Would like to see if anyone would know where I could get one.
Thanks,
Really getting desperate getting a Mercury case for my nexus S. Since our phone is getting a bit older, accessories like the mercury case kind tends to be harder to find(last store pointed to me closed shop already). Unless you know someone from Korea, which I don't. Sadly I don't have enough cold cash lying around so getting it from abroad is out of the question. Any of my fellow men from the Philippines here have any idea where I could still get one..? Love to get one in white desperately, or black perhaps. Help please! =(
Go to www.tipidcp.com
I got my white one from ebay though, waited 2months for it to arrive from korea. I also got a yellow one bought locally but i sold it already.

Hehehe. It's you again ej8989! 'Went to where you pointed me. The shop folded up apparently. Now I'm back at zero. Glad you got yours. Sell it to me if you decided to upgraded will ya?
Better buy one on ebay.
I won't upgrade unless developers here stop making roms for good.
And imo this is the most excellent sounding android phone, credits to voodoo sound and my trusty in-ear headphones.
Tell someone you know who has a credit card to buy one for ya. They're only about 360php, free shipping from korea.
haha.. i've been looking for mercury case too but this case is so rare that i only saw one at tcp then after a week its gone and never saw one again. the only thing i can find in the mall are the cheap plastic netcase that could scratch the phone. there's one in ebay that costs 260+50 for shipping, they also do meetup in pasay area, im far from there so i didnt buy one. just search nexus s case in ebay.ph u'll find it in several colors.

Yeah, you're correct about the excellence of our phone. Running slimbean jb rc-1 on mine. Two months waiting time you say? Hehe. I wish I don't run into a pre-owned S2 with a good price by that time. I'll try ebay.ph next time. Thanks for replying.
Nexus S Mercury case seller here in Manila, Philippines
Got me a blue non-Mercury brand case recently. The problem is my neoprene casing has a staining effect on my newly purchased TPU case. Well the black textile edge was the culprit really. I can't seem to remove it with alcohol or liquid detergent. Really getting frustrated.. Any ideas how to remove it guys?
I've been looking around for a replacement housing for my G2, it's pretty knocked up (bought it 2nd hand), had a look at faulty used phones and official replacement housing, but both are surprisingly expensive (you wouldn't believe how much people pay for an old waterdamaged phone with an unrepairable screen and dents left right and centre.
Anyway, I've seen a full housing (minus screen/ glass) by Ecell which is (quote) "New Genuine ... For HTC Desire Z", previously it was £300ish on eBay, I've now seen it for under a tenner (still direct from Ecell).
Thing is it's black, so the use of the word "genuine" is questionable (do they mean "genuine" Ecell, or "genuine" HTC?), although in the description they say "Official HTC product". Also I've never bought anything Ecell before.
I just wanted to know if any of you guys have bought one of these replacement housings, or anything from Ecell before? Feedback would be greatly appreciated .
Best I have found is about 40$ for a full housing replacement OEM, if considered it the past but haven't been able to justify that just for aesthetics. I recently stopped using my dock and just use one of the original T-Mobile cases I fond for a few bucks (thick rubber, bulky but real nice) since then I gave up on pretty.
Never bought from ecell before so I couldn't attest to their reputation
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I've seen the E-CELL product on eBay for about 10 pounds and it seems a good price for it.
However, while I'm not sure of its' quality, for that value I'd be willing to take a risk and see what's it about.
@demkantor Thanks, according to Google $40 = £25, and official HTC housing goes for around £30, which is absurd 'cause that's well over half of what I paid for my G2. I don't fancy a case, the Vision is already thick and heavy without one (can you even use the keyboard with a case on? )
@geojoking Yep, that's the one I found, previously £300 (wtf?!). Unless anyone highly cautions against Ecell I might go for it, besides as you say it is less than £10 so probably worth the risk. Anyway, if I do get it I can post a review here !
you can slide it fine, i would prefer not to use one but im running low on spare phones at the moment and i dont mind the bulk, but yes definitely bulkier!
i believe the original leaked photos of the g2/dz were of a black model or at least real dark grey. supposedly there is some mystic black version that is near impossible to get a hold of with a different bootloader then all the others, it had a different name but fell under the vision still i believe... cant remember much about it
so that would mean its possible these are genuine and being they were once 300 that may mean that ecell had them since the very beginning as when phones first come out parts like this tend to cost more than a new phone! they could have gotten the original casting and colors prerelease to the public... just a thought
either way for that price go for it, if it turns out not to fit not a huge loss, if it works great then you have one of the few(if any) black visions!
i would suggest getting some 3m adhesive tape (2mm?) as moving the digitizer will require this as well as holding down the flex. let me know how it turns out! maybe ill try it myself
I saw these a while back, almost bought it but was sceptical of the quality. Really wish I did now..
Hello,
I bought the S6 some times ago now, and I bought first a standard cover with magnet from Samsung. After a month I get a crack on the top and lower side of the cover, where the phone is. Recently I decided to buy another one, a SView cover. After 3 days It starts to crack already...
I'm thinking about returning it, but I'm afraid they will say it felt on the floor or something while I never ever let my phone falling or anything...
Do you know if there's defective models or something like that ? They aren't cheap at all I was expecting something way way better in term of quality, especially from Samsung official products.
Thanks in advance

But they refuse to refund of change it blaming ME for letting drop my phone which is false (they did the same with my aunt to be honest).
Same problem for me. One corner is cracked after only one week. I've seen many post about that on the web, and it looks like Samsung doesn't do anything..
The s veiw covers are on sale at frys electronics 78 cents to 8 dollars
If anyone knows a good glass repair guy let me know.
Obviously it'll be more expensive to repair the lcd/oled display altogether. But the glass itself, while more difficult to do, would be cheaper on theory.
Let me know who you repaired yours through. Thanks
Had mine repaired. Most places won't when think about doing anything but the full glass and display replacement. I shopped around, most places wanted about $450 for the repair. I found a place that did it for $270. UBREAKIFIX, if they in your area I can't recommend them enough.
Best option is Samsung direct! I looked around and all were 250+ , and I would loose waterproofing and warrenty. Samsung charges 216.49 ( No insurance)

THANK YOU FOR RECOMMENDING ME THIS!!!!
My screen fell FLAT on it's face on some marble floor and the glass surprisingly didn't break.. howeveron the LCD has some damaged pixels.
Online they wanted almost $300 dollars for the LCD+Glass assembly PLUS I had to buy my own special tools and glue and this place only wants $259.99?????????????????????
And that's with installation!! WOW
I'm so going to book my appointment soon!
My s6 edge plus glass broke last year and I go into Samsung store. You can either pay for full fixing cost or buy an Samsung care or whatever it's called. They don't check your phone. Just a thought.
Personally Samsung store would be best idea, especially of cheaper and they will maintain the warranty after fixing.
HI, I have question to tag on, if my motherboard on a S8 PLUS is dead, can I replace it with a regular S8 motherboard ? or does it have to be S8 Plus motherboard ? The reason I ask is because I see a good deal on eBay. Thanks.
