But I can say that if you follow the instructions in the Op you should have no problems. I've done this mod many times on different devices including the regular Note 4. Post your results so others can know.

I gave this a shot. Ended up bootlooping. I then, stupidly, realized OP hadn't noted this worked with Lollipop.

I will download the latest lollipop tar for the Sprint Note Edge and extract the stock files and redo the mod one last time. I had previously used files that users pulled from their devices which apparently are not consistent nor the correct version. From now on I will source the files myself. Sorry for the issues. I will make a new mod soon and reupload. At that point if it fails then there are other reasons beyond my control and I will close this thread. Keep your fingers crossed.

Now that I've (once again <_<) been taught the importance of having a nandroid backup handy, I'll be looking forward to giving it a bash whenever you get around to it.

It is a very good ROM, many options and smooth.
However, after installed, I have a big issue.
After installed gapps and sign-in my google account, almost all apps are back except Whatsapp. When it is downloading to 63% starting to install but failed because the APK is invalid. I think it is not completely downloaded yet.
How to fix this issue?
The battery seems that it is not as long as stock ROM (4.0.4).

Thank you Q&ABot for making this thread for us, it helps a bit. Ok, as for your question popo, I find that whatsapp issue very strange since it installed fine for me every time.
Maybe try backing it up on another rom, then restore the backup on AICP. And yes, its battery time is like most of our KK roms.

Will the bugs be of the current CM12 Lollipop that we are facing or you have rectifed some of the issues? Thanks for upcoming build btw. It would be great if you could provide us with the link to the gapps thatworks with this rom best and a little intructions on how to flash it for noobs friendly if they choose to proceed with the flashing of this dev rom.

i've heard many of us got an issue with the wifi password which can't be remembered after each phones reboot
here's the solution:
use a root file manager like ROOT EXPLORER , go ahead to /system/ and locate the buildprop.ini file
search for line contained : ro.systemsecure.storage
change the default value from TRUE to FALSE
this problem can be solved @ Note 3/4/Edge and maybe for Note 5 in about 1 month later ^^
no need anything to do with kernel
/btw, sorry for forgetting my XDA's ID =.=

If you read the OP, this is already implemented into kernel and also since early release of SkyHigh KK kernels 12 months ago.........

File not found
Hi Mickey,
something is wrong with the file. Google Drive says "file not found".
Will S pen will work? with all options? (Smart select, Action memo etc)
Anybody tested the rom in detail? Is "active display" working?
Where will be the notifications shown if "edge" is not working? (e.g. S Pen removed)

Edge display doesn´t work. See OP.
Ambilight Display works.
Gestures are not working.
Performance is better than stock Samsung.
HW-Buttons have different function now.

Hey. the generic.kl method works. The Haptic feedback works fine, but the recent app key has become a menu key. Another thing i noticed was that when i remove the s pen, the touch keys work fine even before the generic.kl modifications. but they only worked with the s pen not with the finger.

open and close camera app many time and working after.

statusbar always strange， maybe u can try to write "fiui.argb.oder=1" in build.prop

Thank you for reply sir. I will try this solution for statusbar but what about browser and wifi. Do I need to copy some specific libraries from port rom to make them work? And in Settings app Icons are weird too
